ダイバ−ウォッチ等の腕時計には、時計の各種の機能を作動させる為の押ボタンが設けられている。この押ボタンは手首の屈曲または異物との接触等により押されて誤動作してしまうことがある。特にダイバ−ウォッチにおいて、押ボタンの誤動作は危険を招くことも有り得る。

その為、押ボタンの誤動作を防止する装置が各種提案されている。例えば、特開平3−21892に開示された装置がその一例である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この従来技術では、押ボタンヘッドと押ボタンヘッドを突出させるスプリングとが直列に配置されているため、軸方向の長さが長くなり、押ボタンが時計ケ−スより大きく突出るすことになる。更に、押ボタンのストッパが案内筒の内部に設けられており、この配置によっても案内筒が長くなり、突出量が増すことになる。その上、ロック筒はロック状態で案内筒の外端面に当たるようになっており、その為、案内筒は時計ケ−スより突出していなければならない。これによっても案内筒の突出量が増す。そのため、押ボタンが手首に当たって傷みを与えたり、外部異物と接触して損傷し易い等の欠点がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明による腕時計における押ボタン誤動作防止装置は、時計ケースの胴に形成された孔に挿入固定され、ケース外に突出部を有する案内筒と、案内筒内に摺動可能に挿入されたスイッチ操作突起を有する押ボタンと、該押ボタンの外周に螺着されたロック筒と、押ボタンを外方に付勢するスプリングとを有し、案内筒のケース外方突出頭部外周が異形をなし、この部分に押ボタンの頭部内周が摺動可能に係合し、また、案内筒の案内孔は断面が円形で、スイッチ操作突起に少なくとも1箇所の環状溝を設け、該環状溝にOリングを少なくとも1個配設した押ボタンが案内孔内を摺動可能に係合し、押ボタンの頭部内に軸方向に延びる円筒状の溝が形成され、その溝の底と案内筒の頭部外端面との間にスプリングが設けられたことを特徴とするものである。

以上のごとく本発明によれば、案内筒のケース外方突出頭部外周が異形をなし、この部分に押ボタン頭部の内周が摺動可能に係合し、また、案内筒の案内孔は断面が円形で、スイッチ操作突起に少なくとも1箇所の環状溝を設け、該環状溝にOリングを少なくとも1個配設した押ボタンが案内孔内を摺動可能に係合し、押ボタンの頭部内に軸方向に延びる円筒状の溝が形成され、その溝の底と案内筒の頭部外端面との間にスプリングが設けられ、スイッチ操作突起のケース内方突出部にスナップリングが固定され、案内筒の内端に当接して抜け止めとし、ロック筒の内端がケースの胴の外壁に当接して押ボタンをロックするようにしたので、押ボタンの時計ケース外方への突出量を少なくし、損傷等の発生を防ぐことができる。また、簡単構造でありながら、押ボタンの誤動作の防止を確実に行うことができる。更に、環状表示溝の着色部により、ロック状態であるかどうかの確認が出来、ロック状態としておく必要のある場合のロック操作忘れ等を防止することもできる。
