【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ウエブを製袋用筒体に沿って繰り出しながら巻き付け、縦シール装置により縦シールして筒状に形成し、ヒダ折り手段により折り目をウエブの長手方向へ付けて垂下させ、この垂下する筒状ウエブを横シール装置により幅方向へ横シールして角筒状の袋体を形成し、該袋体内に製袋用筒体を通して被包物品を充填する製袋充填包装機の折り目付け装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の製袋充填包装機の折り目付け装置として例えば特開昭55−163109号公報の第9図(イ)に開示される如く、製袋用筒体に四角筒状の角筒部を形成し、この角筒部の直角な稜角と夫々対向してローラーを回転自在に配設すると共に、該ローラーの外周面に上記直角な稜角と嵌め合う直角な溝を凹設し、角筒部に沿って四角筒状に巻き付けられた筒状ウエブを、直角な稜角とローラーの直角な溝との間に挟み込むことにより、ウエブの稜角と対向する部分が直角に折り曲げられて折り目を付けるものがある。
また、同公報の第3図〜第8図に開示される如く、製袋用筒体に円筒部から山形板状の折曲案内片を4個突設し、これら折曲案内片の両側面と対向して挟み込み折り曲げ用のローラーを一対ずつ回転自在に配設させ、製袋用筒体の円筒部に連続して四角筒状の角筒部を形成すると共に、この角筒部の対向する一対の側面の中央に溝を凹設し、これら溝と対向してローラーを回転自在に配設し、該ローラーの外周面に上記溝と嵌め合う突起を突設し、円筒部に沿って円筒状に巻き付けられた筒状ウエブを、折曲案内片と一対のローラーとの間に挟み込むことにより、ウエブの折曲案内片と対向する部分が僅かな角度まで折り曲げられて折り目を付け、その後、ウエブの繰り出しにより上記折り目が角筒部の直角な稜角と対向した時点で直角に拡開され、溝とローラーの突起との間に挟み込むことにより、ウエブの対向する側面中央と対向する部分が内側へ突出するように折り曲げられて折り目が付けられ、ガセットタイプの包装袋を作製するものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし乍ら、このような従来の製袋充填包装機の折り目付け装置では、前者の場合、角筒部の直角な稜角とローラーの直角な溝との間にウエブを挟み込むことにより直角に折り曲げて折り目が付けられるため、折り曲げが不十分で折り目の付き方が弱く、ウエブの材質が柔軟であったり、厚み寸法が厚いなど悪条件が重なった場合には、折り目を確実に付けられないこともあり、その結果、袋体の外観が悪くて商品価値が低下するという問題がある。
そこで、稜角が異なる複数種類の角筒部と、溝角度が異なる複数種類のローラーを夫々用意し、ウエブの材質や厚さ寸法などに対応して角筒部の稜角及びローラーの溝を交換して最適な折り曲げ角度に調整可能にすることが考えられる。
しかし、この場合には、角筒部が連設された製袋用筒体の全体を交換する必要があるために、交換用の製袋用筒体を作製するのにコスト高となるだけでなく、交換作業が大変で面倒であるという問題がある。
また、後者の場合には、折曲案内片と一対のローラーとの間にウエブを挟み込んで折り目を付けるため、ヒダ折り手段の構造が複雑でコスト高になると共に、ウエブの折曲案内片先端と対向する部分に折り目が付けられるだけでなく、ローラーの円筒部側端部と対向するウエブの部分がそれに沿って直角に近い角度で折り曲げられるため、余計な折り目が付き易く、その結果、袋体の外観が悪くて商品価値が低下するという問題がある。
余計な折り目が付くの防止するために、ローラーの円筒部側端部と対向するウエブの部分が弛むように例えば折曲案内片の突出量を小さくした場合には、ウエブが円筒部に沿って位置ズレし易くなって、その後のウエブの繰り出しにより折り目が角筒部の直角な稜角と正確に合わない可能性があるという問題がある。

本発明のうち請求項1記載の発明は、ウエブの材質や厚さ寸法など条件変化と関係なくウエブの折り目が必要な部分だけに正確でしかも確実に折り目を付けることを目的としたものである。そして請求項2記載の発明は、請求項1に記載の発明の目的に加えて、ウエブの材質や厚さ寸法など条件変化と関係なく、また、蛇行などの位置ズレが生じることなく折り目を安定して付けることができ、その外観に優れたガセットタイプの包装袋を作製することを目的としたものである。また請求項3記載の発明は、請求項1または2記載の発明の目的に加えて、ウエブの材質や厚さ寸法に対応して折り目を簡単な調整で確実に付けると共に、折り目を簡単な調整で長期に亙り安定して付けることを目的としたものである

【課題を解決するための手段】
前述した目的を達成するために、本発明のうち請求項1記載の発明は、ヒダ折り手段が、製袋用筒体に形成され、前後面及び左右の側面を有する四角筒状の角筒部の稜角縁から製袋用筒体の側方に角筒部の前後面と平行に突出し且つ稜角線に沿って延びる鋭角なV字形V形突起と、角筒部の外側に各V形突起とそれぞれ対向して配設された回転自在ローラーと、各ローラーの外周面に凹設され、前記V形突起が嵌め込まれるV形溝とからなりそして、上記V形突起に向けてローラーを介して対応するV形溝を押圧する第1押圧手段、この第1押圧手段の押圧力を調整する第1調整手段備えたことを特徴とするものである。

【作用】
請求項1の発明は、ウエブの材質や厚さ寸法などに対応して第1調整手段を調整することにより、V形突起へ向かうV形溝の押圧力が調整され、この状態で、製袋用筒体の角筒部に沿って角筒状に巻き付けた筒状ウエブが、角筒部の稜角縁から突出する鋭角なV形突起と、このV形突起が嵌め込まれるV形溝との間を通過することにより、角筒部の稜角縁と対向するウエブの部分をV形突起とV形溝との間で挟み込んで外方へ鋭角に折り曲げ、これにより、ウエブに折り目が付けられる。

また、請求項2の発明は、角筒部のV形突起と協働するローラーよりも、角筒部の左右の側面のV形溝をウエブの繰り出し方向下流側に配置しているので、先ず、角筒部の稜角縁に沿ってウエブを外方へ折り曲げて折り目を付けた後、これら折り目が角筒部のV形突起に係合して位置決めされた状態で、ウエブの両側面中央を内方へ折り曲げ、これら側面に折り目が付けられることになる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
この実施例は、図1〜4に示す如く製袋用筒体Bの角筒部B2と対向状に配設した例えばベルトなどの繰り出し手段Dの間欠的な作動により、ウエブAを繰り出して製袋用筒体Bの円筒部B1に巻き付け、その両側縁を重ね合わせて縦シール装置Eで挟み込むことにより、長手方向へ縦シールして筒状に形成し、例えば特開平2−152630号公報に記載される如く角筒部B2の下端から垂下する筒状ウエブAの対向する一組の両側面A1,A1を、平面二等辺三角形状の折り込み片F,Fの突出により内方へ二等辺三角形に折り込んで、被包物品が充填される前の袋体A2の底部を平面四角形状に形成すると共に、その下方に連続した被包物品が充填された後の先行する袋体A3の上部を、垂直に延びる折り込み薄板G,Gの突出により内方へ折り込み、これらの折り込み終了後に一対の横シール装置Hで上記袋体A2の底部と袋体A3の上部を挟み込むことにより、同時に幅方向へ横シールし、これら上下の横シール部A4,A5の間にカッターIを突出させて切断分離することにより、図5に示すガセット角底タイプの包装袋を作製するものである。

本実施例の場合には、各ガイド板1の裏面に該ガイド板1の上下両端から上下方向へ突出するが左右両端から突出せずに幅狭い上方係止部1b及び下方係止部1cを連設し、これら両係止部1b,1cが出入り自在な取付孔B6を上記角筒部B2の各側面B3に開設させ、該取付孔B6をその上下寸法がガイド板1の上下寸法より大きいが上方係止部1bから下方係止部1cまでの上下寸法より小さくてしかも左右幅寸法が両係止部1b,1cと同じで対向当接する形状にし、上方係止部1bを取付孔B6から角筒部B2内に挿入してガイド板1全体を上動したまま、下方係止部1cを取付孔B6から角筒部B2内に挿入した後に、ガイド板1の下面が取付孔B6の下側内面に当接するまで下動することにより、両係止部1b,1cとガイド板1の左右両側端で各側面B3を前後方向へ挟み込んで移動不能に支持すると共に、両係止部1b,1cの左右側面が取付孔B6の左右内側面に夫々当接して左右方向へ移動不能に支持している。
また、このようなガイド板1の取り付け状態から、図3の二点鎖線に示す如く上述した手順と逆にガイド板1をその上面が取付孔B6の上側内面に当接するまで上動して下方係止部1cを取付孔B6から角筒部B2外へ取り外した後に、ガイド板1全体を下動して上方係止部1bを取付孔B6から角筒部B2外へ取り外す。

本実施例の場合には、各平板3の裏面に該平板3の上下両端から上下方向へ突出するが左右両端から突出せずに幅狭い上方係止部3b及び下方係止部3cを連設し、これら両係止部3b,3cが出入り自在な取付孔B7を上記角筒部B2の各側面B4に開設させ、該取付孔B7をその上下寸法が平板3の上下寸法より大きいが上方係止部3bから下方係止部3cまでの上下寸法より小さくてしかも幅寸法が両係止部3b,3cと同じで対向当接する形状にし、上方係止部3bを取付孔B7から角筒部B2内に挿入して平板3全体を上動したまま、下方係止部3cを取付孔B7から角筒部B2内に挿入した後に、平板3の下面が取付孔B7の下側内面に当接するまで下動することにより、両係止部3b,3cと平板3の左右両側端で各側面B4を挟み込んで移動不能に支持すると共に、両係止部3b,3cの両側面が取付孔B7の内側面に夫々当接して移動不能に支持している。
また、このような平板3の取り付け状態から、上述した手順と逆に平板3をその上面が取付孔B7の上側内面に当接するまで上動して下方係止部3cを取付孔B7から角筒部B2外へ取り外した後に、平板3全体を下動して上方係止部3bを取付孔B7から角筒部B2外へ取り外す。

また、本実施例の場合には、図2及び図4に示す如く前記折り込み薄板G,Gの突出直前に被包物品が充填された後の先行する袋体A3に向けて移動する振れ防止ホルダーJを設け、この振れ防止ホルダーJで袋体A3の横振れ不能に保持することにより、折り込み薄板G,GがウエブAの両側面A1,A1の中央に付けた折り目C2,C2と正確に位置が合うようにしており、更に例えば特開平2−152630号公報に記載される如く前記被包物品が充填された後の先行する袋体A3の底面から垂下する横シール部A4に向けて突出移動する押曲体Kを横シール装置Hと平行に設け、この押曲体Kの突出移動により横シール部A4をその余熱を利用して袋体A3の底面に接着している。

次に、斯かる製袋充填包装機の折り目付け装置の作動について説明する。
先ず、使用するウエブAの材質や厚さ寸法などに対応するように、最適な角度のV形突起1a,1aを突設したガイド板1及びV形突起4aを突設したローラー4と、V形溝2aを凹設したローラー2及びV形溝3aを凹設した平板3を選択して取り付け、更に調整手段6の調整ネジ6a…を夫々調整移動して、V形突起1a…に向けV形溝2a…を最適な圧力で押圧させると共に、V形溝3a,3aに向けV形突起4a,4aを最適な圧力で押圧させる。

この状態で、図1に示す如く解放手段7の操作ハンドル7bを例えば反時計回り方向へ回転し、角筒部B2の側面B4,B4からローラー2…,4,4を離し、繰り出し手段Dの間欠的な作動を開始する。

従って、使用するウエブAの材質や厚さ寸法など条件変化と関係なく折り目C1…,C2,C2を正確でしかも確実に付けられる。

尚、前示実施例では、折り込み片F,F及び折り込み薄板G,Gの突出により筒状ウエブAの対向する一組の両側面A2,A2を内方へ折り込んだガセット角底タイプの包装袋を作製したが、これに限定されず、前示実施例から折り込み片F,F及び折り込み薄板G,Gを取り除くことにより、ガセット角底タイプでない縦ピローの包装袋を作製しても良く。
更に、前記押圧手段5、調整手段6及び解放手段7は上述したものに限定されず、同様の機能を有するものであれば、他の形状でも良い。
