Dp={(A+D)÷(A+B+C+D)}×100
θ=(θp÷θa)×100

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention mainly relates to a fuel injection nozzle of a fuel injection valve used in an in-cylinder injection (also referred to as direct injection) gasoline engine that directly injects fuel into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A conventional fuel injection nozzle will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 11 is a front view of the fuel injection nozzle, and FIG. 12 is a side sectional view of the tip portion of the fuel injection nozzle. As shown in FIG. 12, the

According to the
[0005]
[Table 1]
[0006]
In addition, as shown in Table 1, it is known that a direct combustion type gasoline engine obtains an appropriate combustion mode by changing the fuel injection timing according to the operation mode. That is, it is desirable that stratified combustion is performed when the operation mode is low load, and homogeneous combustion is performed when the operation mode is medium load and high load (also referred to as medium high load). For this reason, at the time of the low load, that is, stratified combustion, the fuel injection timing is set as the compression stroke, and fuel is sprayed into the pressurized atmosphere to form a stratified mixture. As a result, a combustible air-fuel mixture is locally formed in the vicinity of the spark plug to ensure the stability of stratified combustion at low loads. Further, at the time of medium and high loads, that is, at the time of homogeneous combustion, the fuel injection timing is set as the intake stroke, and the spray distribution is disturbed by the flow of air sucked into the cylinder of the engine, thereby forming a homogeneous mixture and performing homogeneous combustion.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
According to the conventional
[0008]
Here, when the outer distribution ratio (sign, Dp) of the spray distribution S by the conventional fuel injection nozzle 100 (also referred to as a conventional product) was obtained, the following results were obtained. The outer distribution rate Dp is distributed in each section by dividing the width of the spray distribution S shown in FIG. 15 in the spreading direction (left and right direction in FIG. 15) into four sections a, b, c, d from the left end of the figure. When measuring the amount of fuel A, B, C, D
Dp = {(A + D) ÷ (A + B + C + D)} × 100
Is calculated by
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 16, the measurement result of the outer distribution rate Dp by the above measurement is about 49% in the conventional product, and it can be seen that the spray distribution S is almost uniform in the spreading direction.
[0010]
Further, at the time of stratified combustion of the engine, as described above, fuel is sprayed in a pressurized atmosphere having a large air resistance that is pressurized in a cylinder in the compression stroke. Here, when the spread angle reduction rate (sign, θc is attached) of the spray distribution S injected into the pressurized atmosphere by the conventional product was obtained, the following results were obtained. As shown in the explanatory diagram of FIG. 17, the spread angle reduction rate θc is defined as θa as the spread angle of the spray distribution S when injected into the air atmosphere, and the spread angle θp of the spray distribution S as injected into the pressurized atmosphere. When
θ = (θp ÷ θa) × 100
Is calculated by
[0011]
As shown in FIG. 18, the measurement result of the spread angle reduction rate θc by the above measurement is about 95% for the conventional product, and it was found that the spread angle θa was hardly reduced. Therefore, the conventional product has a problem that the stratified mixture is difficult to be formed and the stratified combustion efficiency is poor.
[0012]
During homogeneous combustion of the engine, fuel is sprayed in the intake stroke, and the spray distribution S is disturbed by the flow of air sucked into the cylinder of the engine. There is no problem because combustion efficiency is obtained.
[0013]
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection nozzle capable of improving the combustion efficiency during stratified combustion without deteriorating the combustion efficiency during homogeneous combustion of the engine.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention of
A valve hole in which the valve is slidably provided;
A seat portion on which the valve is seated;
It is opened in a substantially fan shape having a predetermined opening angle over the hole exit of the outer surface substantially the hight rectangular opening cross-section from the hole entry of the inner surface side of the perforated vital that sheet portion provided downstream of the seat portion With a nozzle hole,
The opposite wall surface on the long side of the nozzle hole is curved from the hole inlet to the hole outlet so that the opening width at the center is larger than the opening width at both ends in the long side direction in the opening cross section of the nozzle hole. Forming ,
The fuel injection nozzle in which the opposing wall surface on the long side of the nozzle hole is formed by a tapered inclined surface having a predetermined width direction opening angle that increases the width on the hole outlet side as compared with the width on the hole inlet side. It is.
[0015]
With this configuration, the fuel passes through the valve hole and the seat portion, and is injected from the nozzle hole with a substantially fan-shaped spray distribution by opening the valve. At this time, since the opening width of the central portion is formed larger than the opening widths of both ends in the long side direction in the opening cross section of the nozzle hole, the spray amount of the central portion compared to the spray amount of both sides of the spray distribution Will increase.
[0016]
As a result, during stratified combustion of the engine, fuel is sprayed in a pressurized atmosphere with a large air resistance that is pressurized in the cylinder of the compression stroke, so that the sprays on both sides with a small spray amount of the spray distribution are reduced in spray amount. Since the spread angle of the spray distribution is reduced by being attracted by many central sprays, a stratified mixture is easily formed, and the stratified combustion efficiency can be improved. Also, during homogeneous combustion of the engine, fuel is sprayed in the intake stroke, and the spray distribution is disturbed by the flow of air sucked into the cylinder of the engine. Efficiency is obtained. Therefore, the combustion efficiency during stratified combustion can be improved without deteriorating the combustion efficiency during homogeneous combustion.
The opposing wall surface on the long side of the nozzle hole may be formed with a tapered inclined surface having a predetermined opening angle in the width direction in which the width on the hole outlet side is larger than the width on the hole inlet side.
[0017]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, on the opposing wall surface on the long side in the hole entrance portion of the nozzle hole, a processed finish surface is formed that is parallel to the axial direction and continues to the opposing wall surface on the long side on the downstream side. 2. The fuel injection nozzle according to
[0018]
With this configuration, there is no step between the machining finish surface formed by metering on the opposing wall surface on the long side at the hole entrance of the nozzle hole and the opposing wall surface on the long side continuous to the downstream side. It is continued smoothly. Thereby, the bad influence which it has on the spread angle of the thickness direction of fan-shaped plate-shaped spray distribution can be reduced .

Here, when the outer distribution ratio Dp of the spray distribution S of the fuel injection nozzle 10 (also referred to as an invention product) in the present embodiment was obtained in the same manner as the method described in the conventional example, the following result was obtained. That is, as shown in FIG. 16, in the inventive product, the outer distribution rate Dp is reduced to about 35% compared to about 49% of the conventional product, and compared with the spray amount on both sides of the spray distribution S. It can be seen that the spray amount in the center is large.
[0028]
For this reason, during stratified combustion of the engine, fuel is sprayed in a pressurized atmosphere with high air resistance that is pressurized in a cylinder in the compression stroke, so that the spray on both sides with a small spray amount of the spray distribution S is sprayed. The spray angle Sa of the spray distribution S is reduced by being attracted by the spray of the central portion where there is much. Here, when the spread angle reduction rate θc of the spray distribution S of the inventive product was determined in the same manner as the method described in the conventional example, the following result was obtained. That is, as shown in FIG. 18, it can be seen that the spread angle reduction rate θc is about 75% of the conventional product, which is about 75%, and the spread angle θa is reduced. Therefore, in the invention product, the spread angle θa of the spray distribution S is reduced to θp during the stratified combustion, so that the stratified mixture is easily formed and the stratified combustion efficiency can be improved.
[0029]
Further, during homogeneous combustion of the engine, fuel is sprayed in the intake stroke, and the spray distribution S is disturbed by the flow of air sucked into the cylinder of the engine. It is easy to form and high homogeneous combustion efficiency is obtained.
