本発明は物品を覆いこれを保護するために使用される緩衝材およびその緩衝材をロール状に巻き付けた状態で運搬するとともに、帯状の緩衝材をロールから繰り出す際に所定の長さ毎に切断し得るようにした緩衝材の収納繰り出し容器に関する。

【従来の技術】
電気製品、機械部品、食器、書籍あるいは書類などのような種々の物品を梱包する場合には、これらの物品を包装材や緩衝材により包装するようにし、運搬時に物品に物体が当たっても物品に傷などが付かないようにしている。このような包装に用いるものとしては、数mm程度から1mm低下程度の厚みを有し、数10cmから1m程度の幅を有する包装材、つまり緩衝材が使用される。クッション機能を有する包装材としては、軟質の樹脂からなるフォームクッション、空気が封入された多数の突起を有するエアークッション、その他、鋸歯状に折り曲げられたシートを有するダンクッションなどと言われる種々の包装材ないし緩衝材がある。

このような包装材ないし緩衝材は帯状に形成されており、数10m程度の任意の長さを1単位として、これをロール状に巻き付けて帯材ロールを形成している。この帯材ロールを用いて物品を包装するには、帯材ロールから緩衝材を繰り出しながら必要な長さ毎に切断し、物品を覆った後に接着テープや粘着テープにより緩衝材が緩まないようにしている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
これまでは、帯状の緩衝材は製造者から使用者までロール状に巻き付けられた状態のままで包装することなく運搬するようにしており、そのままでは運搬時の取り扱いが容易でない。
