【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ファクシミリ伝送手順により受信するＦコードに対応したボックスを備え、画情報受信時に受信したサブアドレス情報などに基づいて、対応するボックスを利用したセンター機アプリケーションを実行するファクシミリ装置およびその制御方法、および、ファクシミリ伝送手順により受信するＦコードに対応したボックスを備え、画情報受信時に受信したサブアドレス情報などに基づいて、対応するボックスを利用したセンター機アプリケーションを実行するとともに、インターネットへダイアルアップ接続し、所定のメールサーバとの間で電子メールをやりとりするとともに、電子メールを用いて画情報をやりとりする機能を備えたネットワークファクシミリ装置およびその制御方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、ファクシミリ装置の画像蓄積機能を利用して、親展通信用の私書箱（親展ボックス）を作成し、この親展ボックスを用いた親展通信を行えるようにしたものが、主として、ファクシミリ通信サービスのセンター装置として実用されている。

ここで、おのおのの親展ボックスには、ボックス名、パスワード、および、識別のためのコード番号（Ｆコード）が登録されており、送信側が親展送信を希望する場合には、伝送前手順において、親展送信を指定するための信号ＳＵＢを送信するとともに、その信号ＳＵＢのＦＩＦには、親展宛先の親展ボックスに登録されているＦコードを指定する。ここに、Ｆコードの形式や、利用方法などについては、通信機械工業会で定められているので、詳細な説明は省略する。

それにより、センター装置では、受信した画情報を、信号ＳＵＢで指定されたＦコードが登録されている親展ボックスへ格納する。そして、その親展宛先のユーザーは、センター装置に親展文書取り出しを指定し、Ｆコードを入力して取り出す親展ボックスを指定し、パスワードを入力することで、親展文書を記録出力させるようにする。

また、親展ボックスを指定したポーリング受信も可能である。この場合、ポーリング受信を要求するファクシミリ装置では、伝送前手順中に、選択ポーリング受信を指定するための信号ＳＥＰを送信するとともに、その信号ＳＥＰのＦＩＦには、ポーリング受信を要求する親展ボックスを指定するためのＦコードをセットする。また、認証のためのパスワードを運ぶ信号ＰＷＤもセンター装置に対して送信する。

それにより、センター装置は、指定されたＦコードの親展ボックスについて、受信した信号ＰＷＤの内容を用いて認証を行い、認証に成功すると、その親展ボックスに保存されている画情報を、ポーリング受信要求元へと送信する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述したセンター装置では、Ｆコードを利用した通信アプリケーションの他、使用者制限などの種々の管理のために複数種別の認証情報などを備えており、そのために、装置に必要となるメモリ資源が膨大になり、装置コストが高くなるという問題があった。

本発明は、かかる実情に鑑みてなされたものであり、装置コストを低減できるファクシミリ装置およびその制御方法、および、ネットワークファクシミリ装置およびその制御方法を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、ファクシミリ伝送手順により受信するＦコードに対応したボックスを備え、画情報受信時に受信したサブアドレス情報などに基づいて、対応するボックスを利用したセンター機アプリケーションを実行するファクシミリ装置において、蓄積送信操作時、Ｆコードの入力を要求するＦコード入力要求手段と、上記Ｆコード入力要求手段より操作入力されたＦコードと同じ値が登録されているボックスを検索し、該当するボックスを見つけた場合には、その蓄積送信操作にかかる送信ジョブを管理するための文書管理情報に、そのときに見つけた上記ボックスの識別情報を登録する識別情報登録手段と、送信画情報を蓄積終了すると、その蓄積送信に対応した送信予約内容をあらわす送信予約レポートを作成して出力するとともに、その送信予約レポートには、対応する文書管理情報に登録されている上記ボックスの識別情報の表示を挿入するレポート制御手段を備えたものである。
