レンジフードファンには前板と、排気装置を備えたフード体と、フード体に設けた仕切板と、その仕切板先端とフード体の天板部に設けたフィルタ桟に支持されるフィルタとを備え、その前板を排煙の捕捉空間を拡張させるために前方の室床方向に向けて傾斜状にしたタイプのものがある。
そして、このレンジフードファンは、排気装置の作動・停止・回転数の制御、ランプのON・OFF等を行う操作部を前板の前面部に設けている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、レンジフードファンでは一様にフィルタの下端を床面から略160乃至165cm程度の高さにすることが法規として定めており、その結果、前面部も必然的に高い高さに配備される。
その上、前記するタイプのレンジフードファンは、前板が燃焼器具をセットした調理台の上方で前方張出状になる。
そのため、燃焼器具の前に立って操作部を操作しようとする時、操作部が前板で遮られて視線に入らなくなり、操作しずらい。ことに背の低い人や老人等では指が届き難く、操作が一層むずかしくなる。
これを解消すべく図7に示すように前板2の下縁に幅方向全長に亘って後方傾斜状の帯状取付板72を固定し、その帯状取付板72に前方斜め下向きに向けて操作部3を配置したレンジフードファンが既に提案されている。
しかし、この先行例では帯状取付板72の前板2へのスポット溶接痕であるヒケ部が室内に露呈して内装性を害し、また組立施工を煩雑にする。
また、このレンジフードファンは前板2の前面部52の裏面に仕切板82を幅方向全長に亘って横架し、その仕切板82の内部に操作部3の電装部(スイッチ)を収容し、その仕切板82を利用して下方照明92を取付けている。
そのため、その仕切板82の幅方向全長への突出によって排煙の捕捉空間が大幅に削減されて、排煙捕捉効率が悪くなる問題があった。

本発明は、従来事情に鑑みてなされたもので、その技術的課題は前板の前面部の裏面に設けられ固定部(ヒケ部等)が露呈することのない幅狭な取付手段で前板前面部下縁に操作部を操作可能に支持して、排煙の捕捉空間を広く確保し且つ内装性を害することなく背の低い人や老人等でも容易に操作できるレンジフードファンを提供することにある。

また、請求項2は、請求項1記載の取付台を兼用して下方を照射するランプケースをスイッチボックスの上に直線状に取付けたことを要旨とする。
更に、請求項3は、請求項2記載のランプケースが断面円弧形の透明なランプカバーを表面カバーとして備え、そのランプカバー内に位置させてランプを収容していることを要旨とする。

本発明は以上のように構成したから、下記の利点がある。

その上、取付台の固定部(スポット溶接、ネジ、リベット)が室内に露出せず、しかも調理台の前に立った時に操作部と共に化粧縁だけが認識されるようになるので、前板の広い前面部が平面のまま室内に露呈し、今までにないシンプルでさわやかなスッキリ感が得られ、商品価値を高めることができ、操作時においてもスイッチボックスが化粧縁で隠されて見えず、見栄えが非常に良いレンジフードファンになる。
(請求項2)更に、操作部の固定手段である取付台を使用してランプケースを取付けるようにしているため、別途の取付手段でランプケースを取付装備する必要がなく、構造的に簡素化し、コストが低減できる上、従来のようにランプを支持する仕切板で排煙の捕捉空間が遮られることもなくなり、排煙の捕捉効率をアップさせることができる。
