以下本発明の実施形態を説明する。
本発明の参考例を図1に基づいて説明すると1は橋梁の高欄を示し、該高欄1は、幅Bの狭い平板2と幅Bの広い平板3とを交互に配設して形成されている。図2は本発明の一実施形態を示すもので高欄1は幅Bを長手方向に変化させた平板4を並列に配設して形成されている。

以上説明したように本発明は、平板の幅を長手方向に変化させたから平板の高さ方向の気柱振動数が変化し、笛吹き音のような周波数の騒音の発生も回避できるため設計当初から配慮する事により製作性、デザイン性にも何ら問題なく適用できる。
