この発明は、耐震性サドル分水栓の回転防止治具に関する。

配水管から各需要家庭へ給水管を分岐させる分水栓として、図4に示すようなサドル分水栓1が使用される。

このサドル分水栓1は、配水管2(図5)の外周に沿う半円状上部サドル1Aと半円状下部サドル1Bとからなり、上部サドル1Aに、分水栓5が取り付けられ、上下サドルをボルトナットなどの締結具6で締結する構造とされている。

ところで、上記サドル分水栓1は、配水管2の外周に取り付けられるから配水管2外周の突起物となる。
さらに上記サドル分水栓1は配水管2と共に通常は地中埋設とされる。

このため、地震などにより地盤の変動があったとき、サドル分水栓1はその影響を受け易く、漏水事故を起こし易い問題があった。
またこのような漏水事故は地震の及ぶ周辺地域で一斉に発生するため、漏水により大量の上水が無駄になり、以後の復旧にも非常な労力と時間を要する問題があった。

そこで、上記問題を解消することを目的として、上部サドルに分水栓5を軸周囲に回転自在に取り付け、外力が加わったときに回転させることよって外力を逃がし、分水栓取り付け部や給水管の破壊、漏水を防止するようにした耐震性サドル分水栓が提案されている(特願平9−9839号)。

ところが、配水管2に取水孔2Aを穿設する場合、キャップ5Eを外し分水栓5内部を貫通して穿孔工具のドリル(図示せず)を挿入するので、分水栓5がドリルと供回りし、穿孔作業中は危険となる問題があった。

そこで、配水管に取水孔を穿設する際は分水栓の穿孔工具との供回りを確実に防止するよう、図5におけるX−X線矢視端面図が図6に示すようなるように、分水栓側とサドル側とにそれぞれストッパ5Aとストッパ1Cを設け、安全にかつ容易に取り付け施工ができ、また取り付け後は従来と変わらない耐震機能を有する耐震性サドル分水栓が提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記構成の耐震性サドル分水栓によって穿孔時の供回りが防止できたものの、図6に示すように分水栓5のストッパ5Aとサドル側ストッパ1Cとの間にθで示す隙間がある状態から穿孔すると、ドリルとの供回りによって分水栓がθの隙間分回転し、激しくストッパ5Aと1C同士が衝突することがある。

これを避けるためには、図7に示すように穿孔に先立って予め分水栓をドリルの回転方向に回転させてストッパ同士を接触させておいて穿孔ドリルを駆動し、また穿孔作業終了後は逆方向へストッパ同士が接触するまで回転させて、ドリル抜き取り回転の方向に回転させる必要があり、さらにドリル引き抜き後は再び回転して分水栓を図6に示したようなストッパの中立位置まで戻す必要があるなど、取り扱いが面倒となる問題があった。

この発明は上記問題点を解消するため、ドリル穿孔時にドリルと供回りしないようストッパを設けた耐震性サドル分水栓において、そのストッパを利用して穿孔時、穿孔具引き抜時の何れも供回りを防止できる耐震性サドル分水栓の回転防止治具を提供することを目的としてなされたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
即ち、請求項1に記載の耐震性サドル分水栓の回転防止治具は、分水栓が軸周囲に回転自在に取り付けられ、かつ、前記分水栓と前記上部サドルの回転接触面には前記分水栓の回転角を制限するストッパが設けられた耐震性サドル分水栓において、該耐震性サドル分水栓を挟持できる二本一対のアームであって片端同士が回動自在に連接され、他端が締結部材で締結可能とされた挟持部材と、該挟持部材の対向部分に互いに対向方向へ向け突設され、前記耐震性サドル分水栓の分水栓側ストッパと前記サドル側ストッパとの間に隙間なく嵌入できる二個一対の挿入ピースとからなることを特徴とするものである。
