Description

【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to snow shoveling snow, and more particularly to snow shovel having an improved connection structure between a main body and a handle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional snow shovel, for example, a “grip handle attaching device” described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1-44153 is known. This apparatus will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0003]
Reference numeral 1 in the figure denotes a main body that scoops up snow. In the center of the rear part of the main body 1, a connecting tube portion 3 for connecting a wooden rod-shaped handle portion 2 is provided. Reference numeral 4 denotes a socket that is fitted to the connecting cylinder portion 3, and is attached to the tip of the handle portion 2. The socket 4 is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape and is fixed to the handle 2 with a wood screw 5.
[0004]
A retaining mechanism 7 is provided between the bottom of the connecting cylinder 3 and the tip of the socket 4. The retaining mechanism 7 includes a locking hole 8 formed at the bottom of the connecting cylinder portion 3 and a locking claw 9 formed at the tip of the socket 4.
[0005]
A rotation stop mechanism 11 is provided between the inner periphery of the connecting tube portion 3 and the outer periphery of the socket 4. The rotation stop mechanism 11 includes a key groove 12 provided in the connecting cylinder portion 3 and a key 13 provided in the socket 4.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the said prior art example, both the opening end part 3A of the connection cylinder part 3 and the base end part 4A of the socket 4 are the shape which cut | disconnected the pipe | tube simply. In addition, there are some gaps between the connecting tube portion 3 and the socket 4 and between the socket 4 and the handle portion 2. Moreover, this gap opens in the axial direction of the handle 2.
[0007]
On the other hand, when scooping up snow with a snow scraper, if the main body 1 is pierced into the snow, the opening end 3 </ b> A of the connecting cylinder 3 and the base end 4 </ b> A of the socket 4 may be buried in the snow. When the handle portion 2 is pulled in this state, snow water may enter from the gap between the connecting tube portion 3 and the socket 4 and the gap between the socket 4 and the handle portion 2. Once this snow water enters from the gap between the connecting tube portion 3 and the socket 4 and the gap between the socket 4 and the handle portion 2, it does not evaporate for a long time and exists in each gap. For this reason, the wood screw 5 is rusted in the gap between the connecting tube portion 3 and the socket 4 due to long-term use. In the gap between the socket 4 and the handle 2, the wooden handle 2 is corroded and the gap becomes larger. As a result, there is a problem that the space between the main body 1 and the handle portion 2 becomes unstable.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the problems as described above, and provides a snow shovel that can surely prevent snow water from entering the gap between the connecting tube portion and the socket and the gap between the socket and the handle portion. The purpose is to do.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, a snow shovel according to the first aspect of the present invention is a snow shovel comprising a main body that scoops snow and a handle attached to the main body, and is integrally formed with the main body. A connecting tube portion to which the tip is fitted, and a socket attached to the tip of the handle portion and fitted to the connecting tube portion together with the handle portion so that the main body and the handle portion are firmly connected to each other. A reduced diameter portion formed at the distal end portion of the handle portion in accordance with the inner diameter of the socket and fitted into the socket; and a base end portion of the socket formed at a proximal end portion of the reduced diameter portion. A bulging portion that abuts and covers the end surface on the end side, and a bulging portion formed on the proximal end portion of the socket and fitted to the connecting tube portion, and the tip side surface thereof covers the opening end surface of the connecting tube portion. It is formed into a tapered shape that covers and gradually reduces the diameter toward the base end side. And an end surface of the end portion side and a flange portion to be covered by the bulging portion.
[0010]
[Action]
In the snow shovel of the first invention, the base end portion of the socket is bulged to form a flange portion that covers the opening end surface of the connecting tube portion. Even if it is buried in the snow, the snow is guided to the flange part and pushed to the outside of the connecting cylinder part when it is pulled out. As a result, it is possible to prevent snow water from entering the inside through the gap between the connecting tube portion and the socket.
[0011]
Furthermore, since the end surface on the base end side of the socket is covered with the bulge portion of the handle portion, even if the base end portion of the socket is buried in snow, the snow is guided to the bulge portion when it is pulled out, and further to the flange portion. It is guided and pushed to the outside of the connecting tube part. As a result, it is possible to prevent snow water from entering the inside through the gap between the socket and the handle. That is, in the state where the end surface of the flange portion on the base end side is covered with the bulging portion, and the opening end surface of the connection tube portion is covered with the flange portion, the snow shovel is put into the snow to the base end portion of the socket. When it is buried and pulled out, the snow located on the outer peripheral surface of the handle part is guided to the bulging part covering the end face on the base end part side of the flange part and pushed to the outside of the flange part. This snow is guided to the tapered surface of the flange portion covering the open end surface of the connection tube portion and pushed to the outside of the connection tube portion. As a result, it is possible to prevent snow water from entering the inside through the gap between the socket and the handle.
[0012]
【Example】
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side sectional view showing a characteristic portion of snow shovel according to the present embodiment, FIG. 2 is a front view showing snow shovel, FIG. 3 is a side view showing snow shovel, and FIG. 4 is a state in which the main body and handle portion of the snow shovel are separated. FIG. 5 is a side view showing the snow plow main body and the handle portion separated from each other.
[0013]
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the snow shovel 21 of the present embodiment mainly includes a main body 22 that scoops snow and a wooden handle portion 23 attached to the main body 22.
[0014]
The main body 22 is formed in a substantially square dish shape. The dish-shaped main body 22 is formed so that the tip end side (the lower end side in FIG. 2) is shallow and the base end side is deep so that snow can be easily poured. A connecting tube portion 25 is formed in the central portion of the main body 22 along the axial direction of the handle portion 23. The connecting tube portion 25 is formed integrally with the main body 22 and the tip of the handle portion 23 is fitted. The opening end face 25A of the connecting cylinder portion 25 has a configuration in which the cylinder is simply cut in the horizontal direction. Reinforcing ridges 27 and 28 are formed on both sides of the connecting tube portion 25 in the main body 22. Of the base end portion of the main body 22, footrest portions 29 and 30 are formed on both sides sandwiching the connecting tube portion 25 so that an operator can put his / her feet on. The footrests 29 and 30 are provided with anti-slip processing. As the anti-slip process of the footrests 29 and 30, an infinite number of grooves cut in stripes are provided. Furthermore, slipping prevention protrusions 31 and 32 are provided on the outer end portions of the footrests 29 and 30, respectively, so that the operator's feet hung on the footrests 29 and 30 do not slip off.
[0015]
The entire handle portion 23 is made of a wooden round bar. A gripping portion 33 for the operator to hold by hand is attached to the base end portion (upper end portion in FIG. 2) of the handle portion 23. A socket 35 is attached to the distal end side (lower end side in FIG. 2) of the handle portion 23. The socket 35 is fitted to the connecting cylinder portion 25 together with the handle portion 23. The socket 35 is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape, and is fixed to the handle portion 23 with two wood screws 36 and 37. The wood screws 36 and 37 are disposed at an intermediate position of a key 47 described later.
[0016]
A flange portion 40 is formed at the base end portion (upper end portion in FIG. 2) of the socket 35. As shown in FIG. 1, the flange portion 40 is formed by expanding the proximal end portion of the socket 35, and covers the opening end surface 25 </ b> A of the connecting tube portion 25. That is, the flange portion 40 is formed to expand radially outward from the base end portion of the socket 35, and the opening end face 25 </ b> A of the connection tube portion 25 is formed in a state where the socket 35 is fitted to the connection tube portion 25. It comes to cover. Further, the flange portion 40 is formed in a tapered shape by gradually reducing the diameter toward the base end side (the upper end side in FIG. 1). As a result, the gap between the connecting tube portion 25 and the socket 35 formed in the axial direction of the handle portion 23 is covered with the flange portion 40. A portion where a later-described stop mechanism 45 is located is formed so as to be inflated so as to cover and cover the stop mechanism 45.
[0017]
A reduced diameter portion 41 for fitting the socket 35 is formed at the distal end portion (lower end portion in FIG. 1) of the handle portion 23. Since the inner diameter of the socket 35 is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the handle 23, the reduced diameter portion 41 is formed by reducing the tip of the handle 23 in accordance with the inner diameter of the socket 35. It is. A stepped portion 41 </ b> A is formed at the proximal end portion of the reduced diameter portion 41, and the end surface 35 </ b> A on the proximal end portion side of the socket 35 comes into contact therewith. As a result, the step 41A covers the end surface 35A of the socket 35 as a result. This step 41A constitutes a bulging portion. As a result, the gap between the socket 35 and the handle portion 23 formed in the axial direction of the handle portion 23 is covered with the step portion 41A.
[0018]
A retaining mechanism 42 is provided between the bottom portion of the connection cylinder portion 25 (the lower portion in FIG. 1) and the tip portion of the socket 35. Similar to the conventional retaining mechanism 7, the retaining mechanism 42 includes a retaining hole 43 formed at the bottom of the connecting tube portion 25 and a retaining claw 44 formed at the tip of the socket 35. .
[0019]
A rotation stop mechanism 45 is provided between the inner periphery of the connecting tube portion 25 and the outer periphery of the socket 35. Similar to the conventional stopping mechanism 11, the stopping mechanism 45 includes a key groove 46 provided in the connection cylinder portion 25 and a key 47 provided in the socket 35.
[0020]
With the above-described configuration, when the socket 35 is fitted into the connection tube portion 25, the locking claw 44 is fitted and locked in the locking hole 43 of the retaining mechanism 42. Further, the key 47 is fitted into the key groove 46 of the rotation stop mechanism 45. As a result, the main body 22 and the handle portion 23 are firmly connected to each other.
[0021]
When scooping up snow using the snow shovel 21 configured as described above, the operation is as follows.
[0022]
An operator stabs the main body 22 into the snow by grasping the handle portion 23 and the grip portion 33 at the base end thereof. Then, the main body 22 squeezes snow and draws it toward you. At this time, the opening end surface 25A of the connecting tube portion 25 and the end surface 35A of the socket 35 may be buried in the snow. When the handle 23 is pulled forward in this state, the snow in the connecting tube portion 25 and the socket 35 is shifted along the handle 23 to the tip side of the handle 23. The snow is first guided to the outside of the socket 35 by the step portion 41A with which the end face 35A of the socket 35 abuts. Further, the socket 35 is guided and pushed to the outside of the connecting tube portion 25 by the flange portion 40.
[0023]
As a result, it is possible to prevent snow water from entering the gap between the connecting tube portion 25 and the socket 35 and the gap between the socket 35 and the handle portion 23, and reliably solve the above-mentioned conventional problems. Reliability is improved.
[0024]
In the above-described embodiment, the bulging portion is constituted by the step portion 41A formed at the proximal end portion of the reduced diameter portion 41 of the handle portion 23. However, the inner diameter of the socket 35 is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the handle portion 23. In this case, the bulging portion is formed by expanding the outer peripheral surface of the handle portion 23.
[0025]
Moreover, in the said Example, although the socket 35 was fixed to the handle | pattern part 23 with the wood screws 36 and 37, you may fix with other means, such as a nail.
[0026]
Furthermore, in the said Example, although the handle | pattern part 23 was comprised with the wooden bar, you may use not only this but metal pipes, such as aluminum and iron, and a resin bar and pipe material. Further, in the case of metal, a resin may be coated to prevent rust. At this time, as means for fixing the socket 35 to the handle portion 23, screws, nails or the like are used when the handle portion 23 is made of resin, and rivets or screws are used when the handle portion 23 is made of metal.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
[0028]
(1) Since the flange part which covers the opening end surface of a connection cylinder part was formed in the base end part of a socket, it can prevent that snow water penetrate | invades into the inside from the clearance gap between a connection cylinder part and a socket.
[0029]
(2) Since the end surface on the base end side of the socket is covered with the bulging portion of the handle portion, it is possible to prevent snow water from entering the inside through the gap between the socket and the handle portion.
[0030]
(3) By said (1) and (2), it can prevent that fixing members, such as a screw which fixes a handle part and a socket, rust or a handle part corrodes. As a result, there is no wobbling between the main body and the handle and the reliability against snow shoveling is improved.
