本発明は、即湯機能付き給湯器に関し、特に給湯栓の使用判定を容易にしかも確実に行い得るようにしたものに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来この種の技術としては図2に示す様な即湯機能付き給湯器が存在する。この即湯機能付き給湯器1は、入水路2を通して入水された水を熱交換器3で加熱して出湯路4から給湯栓5へ供給するようになっている。また、入水路2から入水された水は熱交換器3を通らずにバイパス路10から出湯路4に導かれ、バイパス路10上に設けられた比例弁11によりバイパス路10からの流量を調節して給湯栓5から出湯する温度を調節する。また、出湯路4から入水路2側へは給湯戻り路6が接続されると共に循環ポンプ7が設けられている。
そして、このような給湯器において、給湯栓5が開かれ給湯が行われたことを検出するのは、熱交換器3に流れ込む流量を検出する缶体水量センサ8、及び給湯戻り路6上を流れる流量を検出する循環水量センサ9を利用し、その双方の水量センサ8、9を比較することにより判別するようにしていた。具体的に説明すると、給湯栓5が閉じられている状態では、缶体水量センサ8と循環水量センサ9との検出値は一致する。一方、給湯栓5が開けられた状態では入水路2から入水されるため缶体水量センサ8の検出値の方が循環水量センサ9の検出値よりも大きくなる。これらを検出することにより給湯栓5の使用を判断することができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来このような即湯機能付き給湯器が存在するものの従来のものでは、即湯機能運転中に給湯栓を使用した場合には2つの水量センサの流量差から給湯栓使用の判定を行うために、センサのバラツキ等を考慮して一定の流量差を必要としていた。そのため、給湯栓を判定流量以下で使用した場合には、給湯状態と判断されないため設定温度でない出湯を行う問題があった。また、この従来のものでは2つの水量センサを利用するため相互の調整が必要であった。
そこで、本願発明はこれらの問題点に鑑みてなされたものであって、より簡易な構成で、給湯栓使用判定の精度の向上を図る即湯機能付き給湯器の提供を目的とする。

上記目的を達成するために請求項1記載の発明は、水を給水する入水路と、給水された水を加熱する加熱手段と、前記加熱手段により加熱された湯を給湯栓へ出湯する出湯路と、前記出湯路の湯を入水路側へ戻す給湯戻り路とを有し、これらにより即湯循環路を形成し、更に前記即湯循環路に循環ポンプを設けるようにした即湯機能付き給湯器において、入水路上であって入水路と給湯戻り路の接続部よりも下流側に入水温度センサを設け、即湯機能の作動中には前記入水温度センサの検出温度を監視して検出温度が低下したことによって前記給湯栓の使用が開始されたことを判定することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。図1が本発明の即湯機能付き給湯器の構成を示したものである。図1に示すようにこの即湯機能付き給湯器は、入水路2から入水された水が熱交換器3により加熱されて出湯路4に至ると共にバイパス路10により比例弁11で調整された水とが出湯路4に至り、それらが混合されて出湯路4により出湯される。また、出湯路4からは給湯栓5へ供給されると共に、出湯路4から入水路2へ戻すための給湯戻り路6が設けられており、戻り路6には循環ポンプ7が設けられている。更に、この給湯器では、入水路2と戻り路6との接続点よりも下流側に入水温度センサ12が配置されている。
そして、このような給湯器においては、給湯栓5が開かれたのを検出するのは、入水温度センサ12の一時的な温度の低下を検出することにより行うことができる。即湯機能が作動しているときには、出湯路4、戻り路6、入水路2、熱交換器3を循環させて保温するようにしているため、入水温度センサ12はほぼ一定の温度を検出している。このとき、給湯栓5が開かれると、そこから出た湯量と同量の水が入水路2から給水されるため、入水温度センサ12は温度の低下を検出することとなる。この状態を検出することにより給湯栓の使用を検出することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明の即湯機能付き給湯器では、給水を行う入水路と給湯戻り路との接続部よりも下流側に入水温度センサを設け、入水温度センサが温度の低下を検出することにより給湯栓の使用を判断するようにしたので、従来のようにセンサの流量差では判別できないような流量でも検出することができる効果がある。
また、入水路には通常燃焼量を演算するために入水温度センサが設けられているため、このセンサを兼用して利用するようにすれば追加部品を少なく実現する効果もある。
