この方式は、3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project)仕様書TS25.212に記載されている。
【0049】
ここで、受信品質Qは、3GPP仕様書で規定されているPhysical channel BER(Bit error rate)(上り回線で常時送信されるDPCCH(Dedicated Physical Control Channel)に対するBER測定値)や、Transport channel BER(RAKE合成後のDPDCH(Dedicated Physical Data Channel)に対するBER推定値)、またはSIR(Signal to Interference Ratio)などの値を利用する。
【0050】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a radio receiving apparatus and a rake finger assignment method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A CDMA receiving device is a receiving device used in a mobile communication system such as a car phone and a mobile phone, and adopting a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) method as a wireless access method. Such a CDMA receiver identifies a channel on a wireless channel by a spreading code. A base station equipped with such a CDMA receiving device generally performs RAKE reception in which radio signals transmitted by a mobile station are received and combined as a plurality of propagation paths.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in order to obtain good reception characteristics under a multipath environment, the RAKE receiver needs to use more fingers. On the other hand, depending on the communication state of the channel, such as when receiving a channel with a low spreading factor, it is not necessary to use many fingers. However, in the above-described conventional CDMA receiving apparatus, one RAKE receiver is always used for one channel. That is, N fingers are always assigned to the channel. For this reason, the RAKE receiver provided in the conventional CDMA receiving apparatus has a problem that an appropriate number of fingers cannot be assigned to one channel according to the communication state. In other words, if the number of RAKE receivers (K) is increased to receive more channels, the number of fingers (K × N) in the CDMA receiver increases, and therefore, the number of fingers in the CDMA receiver increases. There is a problem that many unused fingers are present.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and has as its object to provide a radio receiving apparatus and a RAKE finger assignment method capable of assigning an appropriate number of fingers to a channel.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The radio receiving apparatus according to the present invention includes: a plurality of RAKE fingers; and control means for controlling the number of RAKE fingers used for receiving a channel among the plurality of RAKE fingers based on a spreading factor of the channel. The control means assigns a larger number of RAKE fingers to a channel having a smaller spreading factor, and assigns a smaller number of RAKE fingers to a channel having a larger spreading factor .
[0008]
According to this configuration, in order to set at least one finger to be assigned to the received channel from among the plurality of fingers provided in the apparatus, the number of fingers to be assigned to the received channel can be made variable, An appropriate number of fingers can be assigned to one channel.
[0010]
Further , according to this configuration, since at least one finger is set based on the spreading factor of the channel, the number of fingers assigned to the channel can be changed according to the spreading factor, and an appropriate number of fingers can always be set. Can be assigned.
[0017]
A CDMA receiving apparatus according to the present invention has a configuration including the above-described wireless receiving apparatus.
[0018]
According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a CDMA receiver capable of obtaining the same operation and effect as described above.
[0019]
A radio base station apparatus according to the present invention employs a configuration including the CDMA receiving apparatus described above.
[0020]
According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a wireless base station device capable of obtaining the same operation and effect as described above.
[0021]
The RAKE finger assignment method of the present invention is a RAKE finger assignment method for controlling the number of RAKE fingers used for receiving a channel among a plurality of RAKE fingers , wherein the channel having a smaller spreading factor includes the plurality of RAKE fingers . A larger number of RAKE fingers among the RAKE fingers are allocated, and a smaller number of the RAKE fingers among the plurality of RAKE fingers are allocated to a channel having a larger spreading factor .
[0023]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The gist of the present invention is to make the number of fingers to be allocated to a channel to be received variable according to the communication state.

Here, the reception quality Q is defined as a physical channel BER (Bit error rate) (BER measurement value for a Dedicated Physical Control Channel (DPCCH) constantly transmitted on the uplink) defined in the 3GPP specifications, and a transport channel BER (Transport channel BER). A value such as a BER estimation value for DPDCH (Dedicated Physical Data Channel) after RAKE combining, or a value such as SIR (Signal to Interference Ratio) is used.
[0050]
In the present embodiment, a case will be described in which an index indicating that the larger the value is, the better the reception quality is, such as SIR, is used. However, a smaller value is used, such as Physical channel BER and Transport channel BER. It can be easily applied to the case where an index indicating that the quality of reception is better is used.
