発明によれば、シャッターケースがサッシ枠の上枠の上部に取付けてあるので、そのシャッターケース付きサッシ枠を建物壁体に取付ける場合に、シャッターケースは建物壁体の開口部の上方と連続し室外側に開口した凹部内に収納されるから、シャッターケースの建物壁体からの出幅が小さく、外観の見栄えが良い。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1に示すように、建物壁体1にはサッシ取付け用の開口部2と、この開口部2の上方に連続し室外側に開口したシャッターケース取付用の凹部3を有する。
この実施の形態では、建物壁体1は建物躯体4、内装材5、外装材6、額縁7等で構成されている。
前記開口部2にはサッシ枠10が取付けられる。
このサッシ枠10は図1と図2に示すように、上枠11と下枠12と左右の縦枠13を方形状に連結してある。各枠はアルミ等の金属製室外側部材11a,12a,13aとアルミ等の金属製室内側部材11b,12b,13bを断熱材11c,12c,13cで連結した断熱形材で、そのサッシ枠10は断熱サッシ枠である。
前記サッシ枠10に断熱タイプの室内側障子14と室外側障子15が装着されて断熱窓を形成している。

前記上枠11の上部にシャッターケース20が設けてある。
このシャッターケース20は、上面板21と側面板22と室内側縦板23より成る本体24と、この本体24の室外側部に着脱自在に取付けたカバー体25を備えている。

そのシャッタースラット26は縦枠13の室外側部に取付けたスラットガイド27に沿って上下動する。
最下部のシャッタースラット26に把手部28が取付けてある。
