この発明は記録媒体記録再生装置に係わり、特に、ミニディスク記録再生装置に好適な記録媒体挿入口のドアに関する。

従来のカートリッジに収納された記録媒体であるミニディスク(以下MDと称する)記録再生装置のMD挿入口のドア構造の例を図4および図5に示す。図に示すMD挿入口のドア5は一体に設けられた軸5aを介してMD記録再生装置本体3のMD通路最先端部に回動自在に支持されている。

図4(a)に示すように、ドア5は通常重力またはばねの弾力により垂下状態となっており、MDの通路を塞いでいる。このドア5に向けてMD4を図4(a)に示す矢印A方向に押し込むと、図4(b)に示すように、ドア5はMD4に押されて反時計方向に回動してMD4を通過させる。

図5はMD4を排出する状態を示す。図5(a)に示すようにMD4がドア5から離れているときは、ドア5はMDの通路を塞いでいるがMD4が図示していないローディング機構に送られてドア5に近接すると、ドア5は図示していない駆動機構により駆動されて図5(b)に示すように反時計方向に回動してMDの通路を開く。上記図4および図5に示すMD挿入口のドア構造ではドアを駆動するための駆動源付の機構が必要であり、製造コストが高くなるという欠点があった。

この発明の記録媒体挿入口のドア構造は、記録媒体挿入口の近傍で記録媒体通路を開閉するドアを2段に回動自在に設け、前記各ドアに設けたギヤを互いに噛み合わせ、一方のドアの回動により他方のドアを逆方向に回動させるように構成したものである。

この発明の実施例であるMD挿入口のドア構造を図面に基づいて説明する。図1はこの発明の実施例であるMD挿入口のドアを示す斜視図である。図に示すように、ドア1には軸1a、1aとギヤ1b、1bが一体に形成されている。ドア2には軸2a、2aとギヤ2b、2bが一体に形成されている。
