最近の建設機械・作業車両に搭載されているキャブは、デザイン,機能上などの理由により前面の側面視形状が前方へ膨らむような湾曲面状に、あるいはまた前面の上部側の側面視形状が後傾湾曲面状に形成されている。そして上記キャブの前面の視界を最大限に設定した前窓には、上記湾曲面に合わせた側面視湾曲面状の透明板(ガラス又は合成樹脂材などの透明板)を嵌着している。そのために運転者が外部の作業状況などを目視するとき、外部が歪曲して見えることがある。また透明板を湾曲面に曲げ加工して形成するので、湾曲面状の透明板が高価となり、キャブ製作コスト面で具合が悪かった。本発明は、上記の問題点を解決できるキャブの前窓構造を提供することを目的とする。

本発明では、建設機械・作業車両等に搭載され、前面の側面視形状が前方へ膨らむような湾曲面状に形成されている運転室用のキャブ、または前面における部の側面視形状が後傾湾曲状に形成されている運転室用のキャブにおいて、そのキャブの前窓に平面透明板取付けた。そしてその平面透明板の取付構造として、キャブ前面の左右両側縁部の支柱枠と別体に成形されてこれらの支柱枠の間に取り付けられる窓フレームを備え、この窓フレームを、前記キャブの前面の側面視湾曲面に対応する湾曲面を有し、かつ、その内側に平面透明板が嵌着される形状に成形した本発明において、上記平面透明板を上部側と下部側の少くとも2個に分割して形成した。また本発明では、平面透明板の枠体である窓フレームをプレス加工にて成形し、その窓フレームをキャブ前面と平面透明板との間に設けた。

【作用】
本発明では、建設機械・作業車両等に搭載されていて、前面の側面視形状が一部乃至全部にわたって湾曲面状に形成されている運転室用のキャブの平面透明板を取付けたので、視界の物体が歪曲して見えることがなく、正確な視認性を得ることができる。また上記平面透明板の取付構造として、キャブ前面の側面視湾曲面に相対応する湾曲面に形成した窓フレームに平面透明板を嵌着し、上記窓フレームをキャブ前面側の左右両側縁部の支柱枠の間に取付けたので、平面透明板のキャブ前面部に対する取付構造を強固なものにすることができる。そして、窓フレームを支柱枠とは別体に構成したので、型制作費及び加工費の低減を図ることができる。また上記平面透明板を上部側と下部側の少くとも2個の分割形に形成したので、平面透明板を安価にできるとともに、前窓における開閉操作を可能にすることができる。また本発明ではキャブ前面と平面透明板との間に設ける窓フレームを、プレス加工により成形したので、湾曲面状のキャブ前面に対して平面透明板を適格かつ容易に取付られるとともに、窓フレームの型製作費を安く抑えることができる。

【実施例】

次に、本発明の実施例前窓構造を図1〜図5について述べる。本発明では、前面の上部側の側面視形状が後傾湾曲面状(図1に示す符号イの部分における略円弧状の湾曲面の状態)に形成されているキャブ10の前窓15(図3に示す)に、上部平面透明板16U 及び下部平面透明板16L を取付けた。そしてその平面透明板(以下、上部平面透明板16U を代表して説明する)の取付構造として、キャブ10前面の側面視湾曲面(図1における符号イの部分の湾曲面)に相対応する湾曲面(図5における符号ロの部分の湾曲面)に形成した窓フレーム17の内側にH形ゴム18を介して上部平面透明板16U を嵌着し、上記窓フレーム17をキャブ10前面側の左右両側縁部の支柱枠13L と13R の間に取付けた。なお支柱枠13L ,13R に対する窓フレーム17の固定手段は図示していない。また本発明では、上部平面透明板16U の枠体である窓フレーム17をプレス加工にて成形し、その窓フレーム17をキャブ10前面と上部平面透明板16U との間に設けた。

次に、本発明の前窓構造の作用について述べる。本発明では、前面の上部側の側面視形状が後傾湾曲面状に形成されているキャブ10の前窓15(図3に示す)に、上部平面透明板16U 及び下部平面透明板16L を取付けたので、視界の物体が歪曲して見えることがなく、正確な視認性を得ることができる。また上記平面透明板(以下、上部平面透明板16U を代表して説明する)の取付構造として、キャブ10前面の側面視湾曲面に相対応する湾曲面に形成した窓フレーム17の内側にH形ゴム18を介して上部平面透明板16U を嵌着し、上記窓フレーム17をキャブ10前面側の左右両側縁部の支柱枠13L と13R の間に取付けたので、上部平面透明板16U のキャブ10前面部に対する取付構造を強固なものにすることができる。また平面透明板を上部平面透明板16U と下部平面透明板16L の分割形に形成したので、平面透明板を安価にできるとともに、前窓15における開閉操作(開閉構造は図示していない)を可能にすることができる。また本発明ではキャブ10前面と上部平面透明板16U との間に設ける窓フレーム17を、プレス加工により成形したので、湾曲面状のキャブ10前面に対して上部平面透明板16U を適格かつ容易に取付けられるとともに、窓フレーム17の型製作費を安く抑えることができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明では、建設機械・作業車両等に搭載されていて、前面の側面視形状が一部乃至全部にわたって湾曲面状に形成されている運転室用のキャブに平面透明板を取付けたので、視界の物体が歪曲して見えることがなく、正確な視認性を得ることができる。また上記平面透明板の取付構造として、キャブ前面の側面視湾曲面に相対応する湾曲面に形成した窓フレームに平面透明板を嵌着し、上記窓フレームをキャブ前面側の左右両側縁部の支柱枠の間に取付けたので、平面透明板のキャブ前面部に対する取付構造を強固なものにすることができる。また上記平面透明板を上部側と下部側の少くとも2個の分割形に形成したので、平面透明板を安価にできるとともに、前窓における開閉操作を可能にすることができる。したがって本発明の前窓構造をそなえたキャブでは、運転者が正確な視認性を確保できるので、曲面により形成されたキャブにおける安全性を向上するとともに、キャブ製作費のコストダウンを可能にすることができる。なお一般的に当業者がキャブ全体又はキャブ前面部全体をプレス加工等により絞り板金とする手段を種々勘案しているが、それでは型製作費が非常に高くなる。しかし本発明では窓フレームを別体として作成し、その窓フレームのみをプレス加工するために、特に複雑な3次元加工を含むプレス加工を必要最小限部分だけに抑えることができる。それにより、型製作費及び加工費の低減を計ることができる。さらに窓フレームを別体とすることで平面透明板(いわゆるフロントガラス)をスライドフルアップ式とした場合でも、キャブの湾曲形状に沿って窓フレームが移動できるので、平面透明板のキャブ内へのはみ出しを最小限にすることができる。
