そこで、この発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明すると、耕起した土壌を火炎によって雑草を焼却し、害虫、雑菌の消毒処理する焼土機であって、先端に、ラインプレート(2)と耕土刃(3)を有し、後端にハンドル(4)を有する装置本体(1)を設け、該本体の中間部付近には車輪(5)を設け、車輪の両側には、着脱自在のホイールガードプレート(6)をそれぞれ設け、前記耕土刃(3)の両側には、必要に応じて、ファイアーガードプレート(7)をそれぞれ設けると共に、バーナー(8)を臨ませて設け、該バーナーの燃料を入れたタンク(9)を設けたことを特徴とする耕起焼土機から構成されるものである。
尚、ホイールガードプレート(6)の目的は、ラインプレート(2)より表示された畑(X)の蒔き筋(Y)から条間にはみ出ている葉を車輪(5)に巻き込むことを防止することと、まき筋とまき筋の中間を正しく進行して行くための目安に使用するものである。
