本発明は、撮影等のモードを切り替えるボタンとそのボタンを保護する蓋を備えたカメラに関し、特にそのモードボタン蓋のヒンジ機構に関する。

【従来の技術】
モード蓋を備えたカメラにおいて、蓋の開閉の付勢状態はスプリングの方式によって決まる。キックスプリングを用いれば、閉方向、開方向それぞれに付勢がかかり、ねじりスプリングを用いれば、主に閉方向のみに付勢がかけられる。また、モード蓋の開閉状態を電気的に検知するために、専用のスイッチ機構を用いていた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するために、本発明は、蓋と、前記蓋を開閉するヒンジ部と、前記ヒンジ部の回転軸であるヒンジ軸と、前記ヒンジ軸に設けられたカムと、前記カムと接触し該カムとの接触配置により蓋の開閉の付勢状態を制御する板バネと、前記板バネが接触することで前記蓋の開閉状態を検知する開閉検知手段と、を備え、 前記カムは前記蓋の開閉に応じて回転する前記ヒンジ軸を回転軸とし、前記板バネは前記カムとの接触配置に応じて変形し、且つ、前記蓋が閉状態においては、前記板バネは前記カムの略平坦部と当接し、閉状態を保持し、該蓋が開状態においては、該板バネは該カムにより押圧されて変形し前記開閉状態検知手段に接触することで、開閉状態が検知されることを特徴とするボタン蓋機構に関する。
また、前記開閉検知手段が、電気信号入力を行う基板に前記板バネを接触させることによって電気的に開閉状態を検知するものであるボタン蓋機構に関する。

以下、図面を参照して本発明の良好な実施形態を説明する。
図1は本発明のカメラを背面から見た外観図であり、図1(a)はモードボタン蓋が閉の状態を示し、図1(b)はモードボタン蓋が開の状態を示す。図2は本発明のモードボタン蓋機構の側面断面図を示す。図において、1はカメラ、2は撮影モード設定ボタン、3はモードボタン蓋、4はヒンジ部、5はカム、6はカムヒンジ軸、7は板バネ、8は基板、9はバックカバー、10はモード表示部である。
