Description

ΔE=0.4CoΔH+6ΔV+3ΔC

The present invention relates to a composition for oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers such as hair, comprising 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine as a modifying agent in combination with at least one suitably selected oxidation base. And an oxidizing agent and a dyeing method using the composition.
Keratin fibers, especially human hair, contain precursors of oxidation dyes, in particular ortho- or para-phenylenediamines, generally called oxidation bases, ortho- or para-aminophenols, or heterocyclic compounds, such as pyrimidine derivatives. It is known to dye with a dyeing composition. Oxidative dye precursors, i.e., oxidative bases, are colorless or slightly colored compounds that, when combined with oxidizing materials, undergo oxidative condensation to form colored compounds and dyes.
Also, appropriately selected color modulators, which can be chosen in particular from aromatic hetero-diamines, meta-aminophenols, meta-diphenols, and certain heterocyclic compounds such as pyridine derivatives. Alternatively, it is known that the color tone obtained by an oxidizing base can be changed by combining with a modifying agent.
A wide range of shades can be obtained with various molecules used as oxidation bases and modifiers.
Obtained by these oxidation dyes. The so-called "permanent" coloring must further satisfy some requirements. That is, they have no toxicological drawbacks, have the desired intensity of color, and have good resistance to external factors (light, bad weather, washing, permanent waving, perspiration, and rubbing). Not be.
Also, the dye must cover the gray hair and, finally, be as non-selective as possible; in other words, in fact, the sensitivity from the tip to the end of the hair (i.e. ) Must be minimized over the entire length of the same keratin fiber.
Oxidation of keratin fibers containing 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine as a modifying agent in combination with a heterocyclic oxidation base, especially 2,4,5,6-tetraaminopyrimidine, or a diazo compound such as N-phenylaminoaniline Dyeing compositions have already been proposed, in particular, in German Patent Application No. 2714831 and in German Patent Application No. 2739227. However, such compositions have been completely unsatisfactory, in particular with regard to the various attack factors that the hair may receive, in particular the resulting color resistance to shampoos.
Thus, Applicants have found that a novel dye is obtained by combining 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine with at least one appropriately selected oxidation base. These dyes are relatively non-selective, particularly resistant, and can be colored in various shades.
This finding forms the basis of the present invention.
Thus, the subject of the present invention is, in a medium suitable for dyeing,
As a modifying agent, at least one of 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine and / or an addition salt thereof with an acid,
-(A) the following formula (I):
[In the above formula (I),

At least one of the groups R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 is other than a hydrogen atom,
When the groups R 4 and R 5 simultaneously represent a hydrogen atom and two of the groups R 1 , R 2 and R 3 simultaneously represent a hydrogen atom, the remaining groups R 1 , R 2 or R 3 which do not represent a hydrogen atom are Other than a methyl group,
If the groups R 4 and R 5 do not simultaneously represent a hydrogen atom, at least one of the groups R 1 , R 2 and R 3 must represent a hydrogen atom;
Understood
Para-phenylenediamine derivatives, and addition salts thereof with acids;
(B) para-aminophenols and their addition salts with acids;
At least one oxidation base selected from;
Oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers, particularly human keratin fibers such as hair.
The oxidation dyeing composition of the present invention is relatively non-selective and excellent against atmospheric factors, such as light and bad weather and various treatments to which sweat and hair may be subjected (washing, permanent wave treatment). It becomes possible to obtain various color tones having resistance. These properties are particularly pronounced, especially in the resistance of the stain to washing.

Obviously, those skilled in the art will be aware of any supplemental compounds, noting that the advantageous properties inherent in the combinations of the invention are not adversely or substantially affected by the additions considered. Would select (class).
The dyeing composition of the present invention can be in various forms, for example, in the form of a liquid, cream, gel, or any other form suitable for dyeing keratin fibers, especially human hair.
The subject of the present invention is also a method for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers such as hair, using the dyeing composition described above.
This method applies the dyeing composition described above to the fiber and is added only at the time of use of the dyeing composition, or is present in the oxidizing composition, which is applied separately or simultaneously or sequentially. The color is developed at acidic, neutral or alkaline pH using an oxidizing agent.
In the dyeing method of the present invention, particularly preferred embodiments are shown below. The above-described dyeing composition is mixed with a oxidizing composition containing at least one oxidizing agent in a medium suitable for dyeing, in an amount sufficient to develop a color, at the time of use. The resulting mixture is then applied to the keratin fibers and left for about 3 to 50 minutes, preferably about 5 to 30 minutes, after which the fibers are rinsed, washed with shampoo, rinsed again and dried.
The oxidizing agent present in the oxidizing composition described above can be selected from oxidizing agents conventionally used in oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers, such as hydrogen peroxide, urea peroxide, alkali Metal bromine salts and persalts, such as perborates and persulfates. Hydrogen peroxide is particularly preferred.
The pH of the oxidizing composition containing the oxidizing agent described above is such that the pH of the composition applied to the keratin fibers obtained after mixing with the dyeing composition is preferably about 3 to 12, more preferably about 5 to 12. It is a value that becomes ~ 11. This is adjusted to the desired value using an acidifying or alkaline agent, as described above, commonly used for dyeing keratin fibers.
In addition, the above-described oxidizing composition may contain various adjuvants as described above, which have been conventionally used in a hair dyeing composition.
The composition ultimately applied to the keratin fibers may be in various forms, such as liquids, creams, gels or any other form suitable for dyeing keratin fibers, especially human hair Can be.
Another subject of the present invention is a multi-section device or dyeing "kit" for dyeing, i.e. a first section containing the dye composition described above and a second section containing the oxidizing composition described above. Having any other multi-section packaging system. These devices may be equipped with means capable of applying the desired mixture to the hair, such as the device described in the applicant's French patent FR 2586913.
Next, the present invention is illustrated by examples, but does not limit the scope of the present invention.
Example
Comparative Examples 1 and 2
The following dyeing compositions were prepared (contents in grams):
At the time of use, each dyeing composition was mixed with an equal weight of 20 volumes of hydrogen peroxide (6% by weight).
The pH of each resulting composition was about 10, which was applied to a natural gray hair tress containing 90% gray hair for 30 minutes. The tresses were then rinsed, washed with normal shampoo and dried.
The tresses thus dyed were then subjected to a hair-wash resistance test (Ahiba-Texomat machine).
This was performed as follows. First, the dyed hair tresses were placed in a basket soaked in a normal shampoo solution. The basket was frequently moved up and down and rotated to replicate the frictional effect of the hand and lather.
After running this test for 3 minutes, the tresses were removed, rinsed and dried.
The tresses were subjected to the shampoo test six consecutive times.
The color of the hair bundle before and after the hair washing resistance test was evaluated with a Munsell system using a Minolta CM2002 color difference meter.
In Munsell notation, colors were defined by HV / C. The three parameters indicate the color tone or hue (H), the intensity or lightness (V), and the purity or saturation (C), respectively, and the hatched lines in this expression are merely agreements, and It is not to indicate.
The difference in color before and after the hair wash test reflects the degree of fading of the color due to the action of the shampoo. For example, "Color, Industry and Technology (Couleur, Industrie et Technique)" 1978 edition Vol. 5, pages 14-17, Nickerson's formula:
ΔE = 0.4CoΔH + 6ΔV + 3ΔC
Was calculated.
In this equation, ΔE represents the color difference between the two hair bundles, ΔH, ΔV and ΔC represent the variations in the absolute values of the H, V and C parameters, and Co represents the hair for which the color difference is desired to be calculated. Represents the purity of the tress (purity of the tress before testing).
The results are shown in Table II below.
The coloring obtained with the dyeing composition of Example 2 of the present invention containing the para-phenylenediamine derivative of the formula (I) does not correspond to the definition of the oxidizing base used in the present invention described above. Dyeing of Example 1, which does not form part of the invention because it contains 2,4,5,6-tetraaminopyridine, corresponding to the conventional compounds as described in patent application 2714831 Was found to be more resistant to the action of shampoos than the coloring obtained with the composition for use.
Comparative Examples 3 and 4
The following dyeing compositions were prepared (contents in grams):
At the time of use, each dyeing composition was mixed with an equal weight of 20 volumes of aqueous hydrogen peroxide (6% by weight).
The pH of each of the resulting compositions was about 10, which was applied to a permanent wave treated gray hair tress containing 90% gray hair for 30 minutes. The tresses were then rinsed, washed with normal shampoo and dried.
The tresses thus treated were then subjected to a shampoo resistance test (Ahiba-Texomat machine) according to the procedure described in Examples 1 and 2 above.
The tresses were subjected to the shampoo test six consecutive times.
The color of the hair bundle before and after the hair washing resistance test was evaluated with a Munsell system using a Minolta CM2002 color difference meter.
The results are shown in Table II below:
The coloring obtained by the dyeing composition of Example 4 of the present invention containing the para-phenylenediamine derivative of the formula (I) is the same as that of the para-phenylenediamine derivative of the formula (I) used in the present invention described above. Is more resistant to the action of shampoos than the coloring obtained with the dyeing composition of Example 3, which does not form part of the invention because it contains para-phenylenediamine I understand.
