Description

【0001】

A is a printed circuit board socket (hereinafter, simply referred to as a socket) according to the present invention, and includes a resin block 1 and a terminal fitting 2 made of a conductive metal such as brass as shown in FIGS. .
[0009]
Next, the configuration of the resin block 1 will be described. The resin block 1 is formed in an elongated rectangular parallelepiped, and in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the resin block 1, a pair of eyeglass-shaped through-holes 11 is formed at predetermined intervals in a planar shape. Many are formed. Lock holes communicating with the through holes 11 are formed on both side surfaces of the resin block 1, and concave portions 13 indicated by arrows indicating insertion directions are formed near the lock holes 12.
[0010]
Next, the configuration of the terminal fitting 2 will be described. The terminal fitting 2 is formed into a spectacle shape in a planar shape fitted into the through hole 11 of the resin block 1, and a pair of pin fitting portions 21 is formed. In addition, the pin fitting portion 21 is formed with opposing elastic portions 22 for inwardly holding a pin 42, which will be described later, and a resin block is provided on a side surface of the pin fitting portion 21. A lock piece 23 engaged with one lock hole 13 is formed to protrude.
[0011]
In order to attach the terminal fitting 2 to the resin block 1 thus configured, the spectacle-shaped terminal fitting 2 is fitted into the spectacle-shaped through hole 11 of the resin block 1. In this fitting, the lock pieces 23 of the terminal fitting 2 are engaged with the lock holes 32, and the terminal fitting 2 is fixed in the resin block 1.
[0012]
B denotes a printed circuit board for telephone lines, in which a large number of conductive patterns 3 are formed in a matrix, and two rows of conductive patterns 31 for normal circuits in normal use and two rows of test circuits for checking for failures and the like. The conductive pattern 32 is formed. In addition, the conductive patterns 31 and 32 are ground conductive patterns commonly used by intermediate conductive patterns.
[0013]
C is a connector comprising a resin plate 41 and a number of pins 42 arranged in a matrix molded on the resin plate 41. The pins 42 project from both sides of the resin plate 41, and the projecting pins 42 Is inserted into a through hole of the conductive pattern 3 of the printed circuit board B, and is soldered on the back surface. In addition, the resin plate 41 is not necessarily required as the connection tool C, and only the pins 42 may be directly soldered to the printed circuit board B.
[0014]
Next, to explain the operation based on the above-described configuration, first, the pins 42 are soldered to all the conductive patterns 3 on the printed circuit board B. That is, the pins 42 are attached to the normal circuit conductive pattern 31 that is normally used and the test circuit conductive pattern 32 that is used in the test circuit.
