Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a display for an artificial bone head and an artificial head with the display, and more particularly, to a ceramic that is replaced as a substitute when the head of the femur of a human body is damaged by a disease such as trauma or osteoarthritis. Among the artificial bone heads, those having a recess for inserting a stem, a display body to be used by being fitted (attached) to the head to display the serial number and the like, and a display formed by fitting the body. Related to artificial head with body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 15 shows an example of an artificial bone head (hereinafter, also simply referred to as a bone head) 101 made of ceramic such as alumina or zirconia. The head 101 has a substantially spherical shape (usually an outer diameter of 22 to 32 mm) partially cut away as shown in the figure, and a notched taper (D1) having a circular cross section is formed on the cutout side (the lower side in FIG. 15). > D2) is provided with a stem fitting recess (hereinafter, also simply referred to as a recess) 102. The concave portion 102 is where the tapered portion 104 of the metal stem 103 to be driven into the femur is tapered, and the stem is fitted and fixed here, and the finished product is provided for operation. In addition, the deep part of the concave portion 102 of the head portion 101 in FIG. 15 is formed as an enlarged portion (recess) 106 whose inner diameter D3 is enlarged from the tapered small diameter portion D2, so that the inner peripheral surface can be easily finished. .
[0003]
By the way, since such an artificial bone head 101 is also a product, it is shipped, stored, and managed with a necessary display (hereinafter, also referred to as an identification display or simply a display) such as a serial number and an identification mark. . On the other hand, such a display in the conventional bone head 101 is generally displayed by engraving a predetermined number or the like on a peripheral surface 105 (an end surface on the opening side) of the opening end of the concave portion 102 of the artificial head before ceramic sintering. Or, after sintering, it is displayed on the same peripheral surface or the like by laser processing or ultrasonic processing.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the conventional identification of the head 101 has been performed by engraving a number or the like on the head itself, aside from the method. However, such a display form may damage the surface of the artificial head 101. This means the same as that described above, which is not preferable in terms of strength and the like. In addition, it has been pointed out that the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end of the concave portion 102 of the bone head 101 has a small width, so that it is not easy to process for display, and it is difficult to visually recognize and read because only a small number can be displayed. . Further, such display is extremely important for confirming the size and the like before the replacement operation, but is not so important after the operation.
[0005]
The present invention, in view of the strength problems in the conventional display method or form of the artificial head made of ceramic, separate from the artificial head, a display for an artificial head that can be easily read the contents, and It is an object of the present invention to provide a head that is fitted in the recess for inserting a stem.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the artificial head display according to the present invention is a display used to display a serial number and the like of an artificial head having a stem fitting recess, and the serial number and the like are used. A base provided with a display surface (display portion) for displaying, and a flexible deformable deformable member formed integrally with the base and reduced in diameter by being pushed into the concave portion and elastically fitted in the concave portion. And a fitting body.
[0007]
The material of the artificial bone head display body according to the present invention is a material that does not adversely affect the human body or has no toxicity (good biocompatibility), even if a small piece adheres or remains in the recess of the head, etc. It can be appropriately selected from those having moderate elasticity and used. Ultra-high-density polyethylene (HDP) can be said to be a preferable material, but polyethylene terephthalate, silicone rubber or the like may be used. Of course, it is not limited to these. The base constituting the display for an artificial bone head according to the present invention may be flexibly deformable or non-deformable.
[0008]
The display body according to the present invention is provided with a predetermined indication such as a serial number or the like on the display surface of the base by engraving or the like, and when this is pushed into the back side of the concave portion of the artificial bone head from the inserted body side, the taper of the concave portion is obtained. At the same time, the entire display body enters the depth side of the concave portion and is fitted in the concave portion by its elasticity (spring property). Thus, the display body according to the present invention can be fitted (attached) only by pushing it into the concave portion of the artificial bone head from the fitted body side. Since the display surface can be secured wider than the peripheral surface of the opening end of the concave portion, the serial number and the like can be displayed in a large size. Therefore, storage and management from the fitting to the removal are facilitated. On the other hand, at the time of removal, the whole body may be pulled out by hooking the base of the display body by an appropriate means.

Further, the base is formed so as to be engageable with a peripheral surface of an opening end of the recess when the fitted body is elastically fitted in a stem fitting recess of the artificial bone head, and is formed in the recess. It is preferable that the gas is formed so that the gas can be circulated (it can be circulated). Here, “formed so that gas can flow” means that the substrate is formed so as not to close the opening of the concave portion. Specifically, the gas is formed inside and outside the concave portion with respect to the substrate. Can be achieved by providing a gas flow means such as a through hole or notch that can flow (recirculate), or by forming the shape of the base itself into a rectangle or the like that does not close the opening of the concave portion.
[0010]
In this display body, since the base can be locked to the peripheral surface of the opening end of the concave portion when fitted in the concave portion, the fitting is stable, and even at that time, gas flows inside and outside the concave portion. Since it is possible, the inside of the concave portion can be sterilized with the sterilizing gas even when the recess is fitted. Further, when the display body is removed, the display body can be easily pulled out by hooking an appropriate hook in the through hole or notch.
[0011]
In any of the display bodies, a projection for gripping (gripping) may be formed on a portion of the base located outside the recess when the fitting is inserted into the stem fitting recess of the artificial bone head. Good. By doing so, the display body can be pulled out using the projection as a knob when removing, so that the removal is further facilitated.
[0012]
Furthermore, by making the artificial bone head display body into an artificial bone head with a display body in which the inserted body is elastically fitted in the recessed portion for fitting the stem into the stem of the bone head, the serial number and the like can be easily obtained. It can be displayed large.
[0013]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, an embodiment of a display for artificial bone head according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. In the drawing, reference numeral 101 denotes a ceramic artificial bone head similar to that shown in FIG.
[0014]
In the drawing, reference numeral 1 denotes a display body of the present embodiment, which is made of high-density polyethylene having a moderate elasticity, and has a disk-shaped base body 2 having a predetermined thickness as shown in FIG. It is formed from fitting bodies 4 and 4 made up of legs. That is, in this example, the upper surface 5 of the base 2 is used as a display surface for displaying a serial number or the like, and the outer diameter thereof is, as shown in FIG. The diameter is larger than the diameter D1 so that the opening can be covered. Further, in this example, the base 2 is provided with two circular through holes (inner diameter 1-2 mm) 6, 6 penetrating in the thickness direction at symmetrical positions with respect to the center in plan view.
[0015]
On the other hand, on the lower surface 3 of the base 2, fitting bodies 4, 4 composed of two legs are symmetrically extended downward. However, the two fitting bodies 4, 4 have their base ends (roots) 4a sandwiching a line connecting the centers of the two through holes 6, 6 and are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center of the base 2. The base portion 4a is extended in a bifurcated shape that is slightly symmetrical in the left-right shape in a natural state from the base end portion 4a, and a hook-shaped engaging portion 7 that protrudes laterally outward from each other is formed at the distal end. The fitting body 4 including the locking portion 7 is configured to bend and deform due to its elasticity. However, the outer diameter D4 between the locking portions 7 in the present example is different from that in the natural state. It is formed so as to be slightly larger than the maximum inner diameter D3 of the enlarged diameter portion 106 of the concave portion 102 of the head portion 101. A laterally outward tip 7a of the locking portion 7 is formed in an arc shape so as to be able to contact the maximum inner diameter D3 of the enlarged diameter portion 106.
[0016]
Note that the amount of protrusion 7t of the locking portion 7a outward in the horizontal direction is set to be larger than (D3-D2) / 2 in this example. Further, the outer diameter (outer dimension) between the base ends 4 a of the fitting body 4 is set smaller than the inner diameter D <b> 1 of the opening end of the recess 102. Further, in this example, the total height (length) of the fitting body 4 is set to be substantially the same as or slightly shorter than the depth of the concave portion 102 (the distance from the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end to the bottom surface 107). When the portion 7a is engaged with the enlarged diameter portion 106 of the concave portion 102, that is, when the display body 1 is fitted into the concave portion 102, the lower peripheral edge 3a of the base 2 is brought into contact with the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end of the concave portion 102. It is set to be in contact with and locked.
[0017]
Thus, in the display 1 of this example, as shown in FIG. 3, the fitting body 4 is narrowed between the locking portions 7a so that the depth of the concave portion 102 of the artificial head 101 is reduced from the locking portion side. If it is pushed into the place, it bends along the taper of the inner peripheral surface of the concave portion 102 to reduce its diameter, and at the same time slides in its entirety toward the back. When the locking portion 7a reaches the large-diameter portion 106, its diameter is expanded by its elasticity, and it is locked in a deformed state, and the entire lower surface peripheral edge 3a (the entire circumference) of the base 2 is at the opening end of the concave portion 102. The peripheral surface 105 is substantially brought into contact with and locked. As a result, in this example, the recess 102 is substantially closed except for the presence of the through holes 6 and 6.
[0018]
As described above, the display body 1 of the present embodiment can be easily fitted into the concave portion 102 of the head 101 by simply pushing it in, and is released because the locking portion 7 is locked to the enlarged diameter portion 106 while being bent and deformed. It is difficult to obtain a stable fit. The display of the serial number and the like (size and date of manufacture) may be provided in advance on the display surface of the base 2, that is, on the upper surface 5, by engraving or the like, or by attaching a seal after fitting. However, since the display area is significantly larger than the peripheral surface 105 at the opening end of the concave portion 102, the display area can be displayed with a larger number or the like, and thus the reading can be easily performed. When the display body 1 is detached, if it is pulled out, the locking portion 7 bends (shrinks) in the radial direction due to the force, so that the locking at the enlarged diameter portion 106 is released and the display portion 1 can be removed.
[0019]
In this example, since the through holes 6 are provided in the base 2, the following effects are also obtained. That is, such a head 101 is sterilized with a sterilizing gas such as EOG (ethylene oxide gas) at a predetermined temperature. In this example, since the sterilizing gas can recirculate through the through hole 6 into the concave portion 102, the display body 1 is displayed. Sterilization processing in the concave portion 102 can be performed even with the fitting. When removing the display 1, the entire display 1 can be pulled out by inserting an appropriate hook or the like into the through hole 6 and hooking the display 1, so that the display 1 can be easily removed.
[0020]
In the above example, the locking portion 7 has been described as being locked to the enlarged diameter portion 106, but the display according to the present invention is not limited to such. FIG. 5 shows a state in which the depth of the concave portion 102 of the head portion 101 is not enlarged, but includes a parallel portion 108 having the same diameter as the small diameter portion, and the display 1 fitted to the parallel portion 108. However, this display 1 differs from the previous example only in that it does not have an outwardly projecting locking portion at the tip of the fitting 4, and therefore only the differences will be described. That is, this is set so that the outer diameter of the distal end of the fitting 4 is larger than the inner diameter of the parallel portion 108 of the recess 102 in a natural state. The distal end and the vicinity of 4 are formed to be elastically fitted into the concave portion 102 by reducing the diameter at the inner peripheral surface of the concave portion and the parallel portion 108.
[0021]
FIG. 6 shows a case where the stem fitting recess 102 is fitted with the head 101 having no such enlarged portion or parallel portion, and the display 1 shown in FIG. 5. That is, in FIG. 6, when the display body 1 is pushed into the concave portion 102 of the bone head 101, the distal end and the vicinity of the fitted body 4 are reduced in diameter by the inner peripheral surface of the concave portion, so that the elastic member is elastically inserted into the concave portion 102. It is formed so as to be fitted. As can be understood from this, the present invention relates to a base having a display surface for displaying the serial number of the head, regardless of the presence or absence of the enlarged diameter portion at the back of the recess for fitting the stem into the head. A display body that is formed integrally with the base body, and that has a diameter that is reduced by being pushed into the concave portion and that is capable of being flexibly deformed and fitted elastically into the concave portion, It is sufficient that such a display body is fitted in the recess for stem fitting of the head.
[0022]
Further, in the above example, the length of the fitting body 4 and the outer diameter of the base 2 are set so that the entire lower peripheral edge 3a of the base 2 abuts on the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end of the recess and is locked. In the present invention, the substrate does not necessarily have to be configured in this way. That is, in each of the above examples, the length of the fitting body 4 may be set to be long so that a gap is held between the lower peripheral edge 3a of the base 2 and the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end.
[0023]
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the base 2 forming the display body 1 is fitted or loosely fitted inside the concave portion 102 without being locked to the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end of the concave portion 102 of the bone head 101. The lengths of the fitting bodies 4 and 4 and the outer diameter of the base 2 may be set so that In the case of the loose fitting state, the through hole 6 is not necessarily required for the passage of the sterilizing gas because there is a gap between the base 2 and the concave portion 102. In addition, as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 8, a notch 8 may be provided so as to cut out from the outer peripheral edge of the base 2 so that gas can flow through the recess 102, instead of the through hole 6.
[0024]
As can be understood from this, even in each of the above embodiments in which the entire periphery of the lower surface of the base is brought into contact with the peripheral surface of the opening end of the concave portion and is locked, as shown in FIG. Instead of the hole, a notch 8 through which gas can flow may be provided in the base 2 inside and outside the concave portion 102 when the display body 1 is fitted to the head 101. Further, as shown in FIG. 10, by making the planar shape of the base 2 rectangular, sterilization is performed inside and outside the concave portion 102 of the head 101 at the opening portion (the split circle portion in the figure) along the long side 2 a. The use gas may be circulated.
[0025]
The notch 8 in the above is provided so that a gas path (flow path) is formed in the thickness direction of the base 2. However, as shown in FIG. 11 and FIG. It can also be formed by providing the (irregularities) 18 in plan view, at appropriate angular intervals. That is, in the case where the display body is fitted into the concave portion 102 such that the peripheral edge of the lower surface of the base body 2 abuts on the peripheral surface 105 of the opening end of the concave portion 102 of the bone head 101, the inner peripheral surface of the concave portion 102 Notches (irregularities) 18 or convex portions 28 are formed in the thickness direction of the base 2 so that a gas path (gap) through which the gas flows is formed, and a gap S formed by the cutouts is formed in the concave portion 102. The gas may be allowed to enter. By doing so, a larger display area can be secured, and the treatment with the sterilizing gas does not hinder the head where the display body is fitted. In such a case, an appropriate number of protrusions (knobs) 19 may be provided in appropriate places to facilitate removal. However, even when the through hole 6 and the notch 8 are provided as described above, the same protrusion (knob) is provided on the base 2 when the fitting body is fitted in the recess of the head. May be provided at a site located at
[0026]
In addition, in such a display body and a bone head to which the display body is fitted, the easier the flow of gas is, the easier it is for dust and the like to enter into the concave portion 102. It is also conceivable. In order to prevent intrusion of dust, the area of the gas path (flow path) such as the through hole 6 and the notch 8 is preferably as small as possible without impairing the sterilization treatment.
[0027]
In the above description, the fitting body has a bifurcated leg shape, but it is clear that the present invention is not limited to this, and the fitting body may be designed to have an appropriate number and shape (structure). Just fine. FIG. 13 and FIG. 14 show another example of the fitting body 14. The fitting body 14 is cylindrically extended below the disk-shaped base body 2 and has an appropriate number of positions (4 in FIG. 4) along the generatrix direction to facilitate bending deformation in the radial direction. A cut 18 is made in (place). In the case of fitting into a head having an enlarged diameter portion in a concave portion, a notch (not shown) is provided around an outer periphery of a lower end portion of the fitted body in a flange shape, and the fitting portion is fitted. Sometimes, the locking portion may be locked to the enlarged diameter portion. In addition, as long as the display body is made of, for example, silicon rubber and is made of a material that can be easily deformed, no cut is required even in the case of the cylindrical shape.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, the indicator according to the present invention displays the serial number and the like in a separate body (indicator) without engraving it on the artificial head itself. Does not incur any decrease. That is, since the display for artificial bone head according to the present invention fits into the concave portion of the head to display the serial number or the like, the display area is increased as compared with the case where the peripheral surface of the opening end of the concave portion is engraved. As much as possible, it can be displayed with a large number. And in the artificial bone head with a display body which elastically fits such a display body into the stem fitting recess of the artificial bone head, the contents such as the serial number can be easily read. .
