【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ビデオデッキに関し、特に、所定のテレビジョン信号またはビデオ信号に応じて所定の録画動作または再生動作を実行するビデオデッキに関する。
【従来の技術】
従来、この種の所定のテレビジョン信号またはビデオ信号に応じて所定の動作を実行するものとして、実開昭６３−１２５４８３号公報に開示されているＣＡＴＶシステムにおける視聴制御装置が知られている。同公報において開示されているＣＡＴＶシステムは、テレビジョン信号を送出するセンターと、同センターと所定のケーブルで接続され同テレビジョン信号を受信する多数の端末装置から構成されている。ここで、同センターは各端末装置に設置したテレビ受像機に対して上記ケーブルを介して同端末装置のチャンネルに対応した各種テレビ番組を伝送し、また、同センターは同端末装置との間で予め決められたチャンネル帯域内に所定のデータを付加するデータ通信機能を有している。

そして、同公報に開示されている上記ＣＡＴＶシステムにおける視聴制御装置は、上記センター側にて上記データ通信機能により伝送する各種テレビ番組の番組内容に視聴許容のランク付けを行いチャンネル帯域内に多重するとともに、そのチャンネル番組内容に視聴許容のランク付けを行った番組視聴許容ランクを送出する番組視聴許容ランク送出機能を備えさせ、また、上記端末装置側には視聴許容ランク登録機能と番組視聴禁止機能とを備えさせ、上記視聴許容ランク登録機能において登録した所定の視聴許容ランクが付加されたテレビジョン信号を受信すると同端末装置において視聴を禁止している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述した従来のＣＡＴＶにおいては、視聴許容ランク以上のテレビジョン信号を受信すると視聴を禁止することは可能であるが、同テレビジョン信号を録画すると視聴を禁止することができないという課題があった。

本発明は、上記課題にかんがみてなされたもので、所定の視聴許容ランク以上のテレビ番組の録画を禁止または、録画されている場合には再生を早送りにより飛ばすとともに、所定の視聴許容ランク以上のテレビ番組のみを録画または再生することが可能なビデオデッキの提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項１にかかる発明は、テレビ番組の内容に応じて視聴許容ランク付けされた番組内容識別データが付加されたテレビジョン信号を受信するテレビジョン信号入力手段と、上記テレビジョン信号入力手段が入力したテレビジョン信号をビデオテープにビデオ信号として記録する録画手段と、利用者が録画を所望しないテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目または利用者が録画を所望するテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目を選択する登録項目選択手段と、上記登録項目選択手段によって選択した登録項目毎に対応する複数の視聴許容ランクから一の視聴許容ランクを登録する視聴許容ランク登録手段と、上記番組内容識別データの視聴許容ランクが上記視聴許容ランク登録手段にて登録された視聴許容ランク以上であるか否かを判別する視聴許容ランク判別手段と、上記録画手段が実行する録画動作の起動および停止を制御するとともに、上記登録項目選択手段において利用者が録画を所望しないテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目が選択されており、かつ、上記視聴許容ランク判別手段が番組内容識別データの視聴許容ランクが登録された視聴許容ランク以上であると判別した場合には上記録画手段の録画動作を一時停止あるいは停止させ、上記登録項目選択手段において利用者が録画を所望するテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目が選択されており、かつ、上記視聴許容ランク判別手段が番組内容識別データの視聴許容ランクが登録された視聴許容ランク以上であると判別した場合には上記録画手段の録画動作を実行させる録画制御手段とを具備する構成としてある。

上記のように構成した請求項１にかかる発明においては、上記テレビジョン信号入力手段は、テレビ番組の内容に応じて視聴許容ランク付けされた番組内容識別データが付加されたテレビジョン信号を受信する。そして、上記録画手段は、上記テレビジョン信号入力手段が入力したテレビジョン信号をビデオテープにビデオ信号として録画する。ここで、登録項目選択手段は、利用者が録画を所望しないテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目または利用者が録画を所望するテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目を選択する。そして、上記視聴許容ランク登録手段は、上記登録項目選択手段によって選択した登録項目毎に対応する複数の視聴許容ランクから、一の視聴許容ランクを登録するとともに、上記視聴許容ランク判別手段は、上記番組内容識別データの視聴許容ランクが上記視聴許容ランク登録手段にて登録された視聴許容ランク以上であるか否かを判別する。そして、上記録画制御手段は、上記録画手段が実行する録画動作の起動および停止を制御するとともに、上記登録項目選択手段において利用者が録画を所望しないテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目が選択されており、かつ、上記視聴許容ランク判別手段が番組内容識別データの視聴許容ランクが登録された視聴許容ランク以上であると判別した場合には上記録画手段の録画動作を一時停止させ、上記登録項目選択手段において利用者が録画を所望するテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目が選択されており、かつ、上記視聴許容ランク判別手段が番組内容識別データの視聴許容ランクが登録された視聴許容ランク以上であると判別した場合には上記録画手段の録画動作を実行させる。

すなわち、利用者は暴力シーンを含む映像や、成人向けの猥褻な映像を含む番組や場面を録画したくないときは、上記録画を所望しないテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目を選択した上で、暴力シーン・成人向けの場面・番組のジャンルに応じて放送局側が視聴許容ランク付けした番組内容識別データを参照し、録画したくない視聴許容ランクを登録する。そして、録画時に、登録された視聴許容ランク以上の番組のテレビジョン信号を受信した場合は、録画動作を一時停止することにより録画されないようにする。むろん、この視聴許容ランク付けは映像に関して視聴許容ランク付けが行われているものであってもよいし、音声に関して視聴許容ランク付けが行われているものであってもよい。
上述したように、利用者が所望の視聴許容ランク以上の番組等を録画しないことが可能になる。一方、状況によっては所定の視聴許容ランク以上の番組を録画することが可能であれば都合がよいことがある。すなわち、利用者は、上記録画を所望するテレビジョン信号に対応する視聴許容ランクを登録するための登録項目を選択した上で、暴力シーン・成人向けの場面・番組のジャンルに応じて放送局側が視聴許容ランク付けした番組識別データを参照し、この暴力シーン・成人向けの場面・番組のジャンルを録画したい場合に所定の視聴許容ランクを登録する。そして、録画時に登録された視聴許容ランク以上の番組のテレビジョン信号を受信した場合にのみ録画動作を実行する。むろん、録画動作が実行されるのは、登録した視聴許容ランク以上が対象となり、暴力シーン・成人向けなど番組の場面・番組の録画に限定されるものではない。

以下、図面にもとづいて本発明の実施形態を説明する。図１は、本発明の一実施形態にかかるビデオデッキのクレーム対応図を示す。同図において、ビデオデッキ１０は、テレビジョン信号入力手段Ｃ１と、録画再生手段Ｃ２と、録画再生制御手段Ｃ３と、視聴許容ランク登録手段Ｃ４と、視聴許容ランク判別手段Ｃ５とから構成される。テレビジョン信号入力手段Ｃ１は暴力シーン・成人向けの場面・番組のジャンルに応じて放送局側が視聴許容ランク付けした番組識別データが付加されたテレビジョン信号を受信し、録画再生手段Ｃ２および視聴許容ランク判別手段Ｃ５に同テレビジョン信号を送信する。視聴許容ランク判別手段Ｃ５は、同テレビジョン信号からランクデータを抽出するとともに、視聴許容ランク登録手段Ｃ４において登録された所定のランクデータを読み出しつつ比較する。そして、同テレビジョン信号から抽出したランクデータが登録されているランク以上であると判別すると、接続する録画再生制御手段Ｃ３に通知する。
