TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a toilet seat elevating device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a device for raising and lowering a toilet seat with a power for assisting an elderly person or a physically handicapped person to sit down on a toilet or to stand up from the toilet.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In this type of toilet seat elevating device, since the toilet is located below the position of the center of gravity of the user, the central portion cannot be driven to elevate. For this reason, it is necessary to devise, for example, to increase the rigidity of the ascending / descending member to provide cantilever support. However, cantilever support requires high rigidity, and the device becomes large. It is also conceivable to provide an elevating guide on both sides of the toilet seat and operate the toilet seat while keeping the seat parallel. However, guides that are separated from each other have a large friction force, especially when the guide force is eccentric when the rigidity is low or when the guide length is short, and stick-slip and locking tend to occur. Guide is difficult. It is also conceivable to raise and lower the toilet seat with a link mechanism. However, the overall mechanism is complicated and each link needs to have high rigidity.
[0003]
As a solution to such a problem, Japanese Patent No. 2581898 discloses that one
[0004]
However, in this case, since the lower portions of the left and right
[0005]
In this publication, a sprocket provided rotatably above and below a movable leg, a chain wrapped around them in a closed loop, and a fixing member for fixing a part of the chain to the fixed leg are provided. Also shown is a mechanism for converting the up and down movement of the movable leg into the rotational movement of the sprocket. Although this mechanism suggests that a transmission element (chain) by tension is provided on a fixed side and a guide side (sprocket) is provided on a movable leg, it does not suggest that the above-described synchronization means be applied.
[0006]
On the other hand, it is conceivable to provide drive units individually on the left and right sides (for example, see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 8-280580). However, it is difficult to accurately drive the left and right drive units synchronously with each other, and the number of components is increased, which tends to be expensive. Note that this publication suggests that the cables of the left and right elevating units are simultaneously driven by a cable driving unit provided in one of the elevating units. Since these cables simultaneously drive cables arranged in parallel, it is difficult to balance the tension between the two cables.
[0007]
In addition, the left and right ends of the plate-shaped member receiving the toilet seat are guided up and down along a predetermined locus by two link mechanisms, and one side is driven up and down by a linear motion actuator, and the other is urged upward by a gas spring. Toilet seat elevating devices are also commercially available. However, this toilet seat elevating device does not synchronize left and right, and relies only on the biasing force of the gas spring to maintain the horizontal position of the member that receives the toilet seat. Since the output of the gas spring is constant depending on the stroke, the load causes a displacement in the height direction due to bending on the left and right sides of the toilet seat. In addition, since it is based on a link mechanism, the degree of freedom of the elevating trajectory is low.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention employs a toilet seat lifting / lowering device of a type in which one side is basically driven and the other is synchronized by a synchronization means, the synchronization means is simply configured, the entire apparatus is easy to assemble, and the installation work is easy. It is an object of the present invention to provide a practical toilet seat elevating device that can be manufactured at low cost.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A guide mechanism provided with a fixed guide and a movable member that is guided by the fixed guide so as to be able to move up and down and supports the toilet seat, and a driving unit that drives the movable member up and down; A synchronous means for driving the other movable member up and down in accordance with the elevating operation of the movable member, wherein the synchronizing means is slidably moved in the conduit and between the right and left guide mechanisms. A control cable consisting of an inner cable that extends from the end of the conduit, and both ends of the inner cable protruding from the end of the conduit are engaged and fixed to a fixed guide so that the upper and lower sides are opposite to each other. Are locked to the movable member .
[0011]
In that case, the conduit, more preferably to hold the connecting member passed between the left and right of the movable member. More preferably, the connecting member is a pipe curved so as to pass behind a user, and the conduit is passed through the pipe.
[0012]
Further, one end of the inner cable is locked to the first fixed guide, extended downward along the center line of the first fixed guide, turned upside down, and guided to above the second fixed guide. Preferably, it extends downward along the center line of the second fixed guide and locks the other end to its second fixed guide. In this case, a pulley for changing the vertical direction of the inner cable is rotatably provided on the movable member on the first fixed guide side, and the inner cable extending downward is changed in the vertical direction by the pulley. Is more preferred.
[0014]
[Action and effect of the invention]
In the toilet seat elevating device of the present invention, half of the weight of the user sitting on the toilet seat is directly transmitted to the movable member on the drive side, and is supported by the drive means. The other half of the weight is supported by the fixed guide via the movable member on the driven side and the control cable. When one of the movable members is driven up and down by the driving means, the movement is transmitted to the opposite movable member by the interaction between the inner cable and the conduit, and the opposite movable member is also raised and lowered.
[0015]
As described above, in the toilet seat elevating device of the present invention, only one drive source is required, and the synchronization means is mainly composed of the control cable. Therefore, the number of parts is small, and the device can be manufactured at low cost. Further, unlike the conventional device, it is not necessary to provide a large number of pulleys, so that the installation space is small and the mechanism is simple. Further, the routing route can be set relatively freely, and the assembling work is also easy. On the other hand, as compared with the link mechanism, there is an advantage that the horizontality is sufficiently maintained by the left and right synchronizing action, and the lifting stroke and the guide trajectory can be set relatively freely.
[0016]
Both end portions of Uchisaku emanating from conduit locked is stretched the fixed guides, in which both ends of the conduit is engaged with the movable member, the movable member of the drive side against the weight When pushed up, the end of the drive side inner cable is pulled out. Therefore, the end of the inner cable protruding from the movable member on the driven side is drawn into the conduit, and the movable member on the driven side is pulled up against half the weight. Conversely, when the movable member on the driving side is lowered, the inner cable on the driven side is first pulled out based on the decrease in the tension of the inner cable, and the inner cable is accordingly drawn into the conduit of the movable member on the driving side. Thereby, the left and right are lowered synchronously.
[0017]
Further, since the inner cable is engaged with the fixed guide, conduit, while accommodating the inner cable to the inside of itself, together lifting the movable member. Therefore, the inner cable attached to the fixed side can also be attached together to the movable side, and can be safely protected. In addition, the configuration on the fixed side, particularly near the lower portion of the fixed guide, becomes extremely simple. Since the reaction force based on the tension of the inner cable is supported by the compression resistance of the conduit, it is not necessary to increase the rigidity of the connecting member so much. When the conduit is held by the connecting member, the conduit is moved up and down together with the movable member while being held by the connecting member. In the case where the connecting member is formed of a pipe having a predetermined shape and the conduit is accommodated therein, the overall structure is further simplified, lighter and more strong. Further, the function of the backrest of the user is exhibited.
[0018]
One end of the inner cable is locked to the first fixed guide, extends downward along the center line of the first fixed guide, turns upside down, and guides up to above the second fixed guide. In the lifting drive device extending downward along the center line of the fixed
