本発明は、草寄せ具及び草刈り機に関し、詳しくは、草刈り機の草刈り刃によって切断された草を簡単な構成で放出しないように抵抗少なく受止め、かつ、吊り紐を肩に掛けて例えば左方に草刈り機を振る揺動刈り取り操作に伴って、切断された草を良好に左方に寄せようとする技術に係るものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、円板状の回転刃(草刈り刃)を先端に備えた草刈り機にあっては、回転刃の回転に伴う刈取りによって切断された草は遠心力によって飛散され、例えば、吊り紐によって草刈り機を肩に掛けて左方に振りながら草刈りをおこなう場合等で、切断された草を揃えることが難しく、草刈り後に刈り取った草を熊手や箒等で掃き集めるものとなっていた。

ところで、刈り取った草を放置しておくと、ミミズが繁殖し、これを餌とするもぐらが入り込み、傾斜のある畔(畦)などでは雨が降って弱くなると崩壊する被害が生じることがあり、刈り取った草を集めて取り除いておくことが土工的にも必要となるものである。
