【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この種の折れ込み式の鋸にあって、柄と鋸刃との固定を柄側に取り付けた掛け止め具によって行う構成とした場合、柄と鋸刃との固定角度が一定になってしまい、柄に対する鋸刃の角度を任意に設定して使用するというようなことは出来ないにもかかわらず、使用に際しては、一々掛け止め具の掛け止め操作を行わなければならないという不便さがあるし、また、側部に取り付けた螺子の締め付け操作により、鋸刃を固定し得るよう構成したものにあっては、同じような状態で作業を行なう場合にあっても、その都度、角度の設定を行なった後で、螺子の締め付け操作を行わなければならないという不便さがあるのである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は、柄の先端に、鋸刃を保持するための背金を回動自在の状態として取り付け、かつ、固定具の操作により、柄に対する背金の角度を任意の位置で固定し得るように構成した鋸柄において、背金支持部の背側に、下方側方向に付勢された突っ張り具を配置させ、通常の使用状態に適した角度になった場合には、該突っ張り具の先端部が、背金に形成した凹部に当接した状態となるようにすることによって、瞬時に適性角度を選択し得るようにする一方、それ以外の角度で使用した方が作業し易いような場合には、突っ張り具の先端部を引き上げることによって、当接状態を解除し、任意の角度に設定し得るようにしようとするものである。
