しかしながら、前面カバーを外した際、引起しタインが駆動されていると作業者の手が機械に巻き込まれる恐れがあり危険である。また、タインがカバーによるタイン押えがなくなることから、タインガイドに引掛ることがある。
そこで、本発明は、以上のような問題点を解消するために、カバーを外しても機械に巻き込まれない、安全に作業ができる搬送チェーンケースにおけるカバー脱着装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上記目的を達成するため、2つのカバーからなる搬送ケースにおけるカバー脱着装置において、前記搬送ケースの上部に配設された駆動スプロケットを有し、前記駆動スプロケットは、駆動軸に対して遊転自在に装着され、スプリングピンでスラスト方向の抜け止めとなっており、前記スプリングピンは、前記駆動スプロケットの嵌合溝と前記駆動軸の嵌合溝とに嵌合した状態になっており、前記駆動スプロケットの前面にはピン溝があり、前記ピン溝に嵌合する駆動伝達ピンが支軸に突設され、前記支軸は前記一方のカバーの裏面の軸受で回転自在に支持され、前記駆動軸は、前記支軸の先端が嵌合する軸溝を備えたことを特徴とする搬送ケースにおけるカバー脱着装置を提供する。

本発明によれば、カバーを外すと駆動伝達ピンと駆動スプロケットのピン溝との結合がとかれ、駆動スプロケットは駆動軸からはフリーとなって動力が駆動スプロケットに伝わらないから機械に作業者が巻き込まれるという恐れはなく、しかもカバーを外した時、刈取部が駆動されていてもタインは駆動されていないからタインがタインガイドに引掛かることがない。
