TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cable holding coil cutting tool for cutting a cable holding coil wound around a core portion of a cable and removing the cable holding coil from the cable.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a cable has a shape in which the outside of a core portion made of an optical fiber or the like is covered with a sheath such as a resin. A cable retainer made of vinyl, paper, or the like is interposed between the core portion and the outer cover for the purpose of waterproofing the core portion. When such cables are connected to each other or the cables are branched, it is necessary to remove the outer sheath of the cable and a necessary portion of the cable retainer from the cable to expose the core portion.
[0003]
In order to expose the core of the cable, it is necessary to first remove the outer cover, and then remove the outer cover to remove the exposed cable retainer. Conventionally, when the outer skin is removed, the outer skin is peeled off using a dedicated tool for peeling the outer skin, such as a cable outer stripper or a cable outer blade. Then, the exposed cable retainer is cut using a general cutting tool such as a nipper or a knife to expose the core portion of the cable.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, conventionally, there have been the following problems.
Cutting tools such as knives and nippers have blades exposed to the outside. For this reason, there is a problem in that when cutting the cable retainer winding, there is a danger that the core part wound around the cable retainer winding may be cut, thereby damaging the core part and injuring the operator. Was. In addition, since the cable presser winding is made of special processed paper or the like, there is a problem that it is difficult to cut with a general cutting tool.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to solve the problems of the prior art, and to cut a cable holding coil without damaging the cable core, and to easily remove the cable holding coil from the core. It is to provide a cutting tool.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in the cable press winding cutting tool of the present invention, a gripping portion having a mounting portion for mounting a blade, a protection portion provided on the mounting portion and surrounding an edge portion of the blade, A cutout portion formed by cutting out the protection portion, and a cutout portion exposing a part of the edge portion of the blade is provided adjacent to the cutout portion, and when the cable presser winding is inserted into the cutout portion, the core wire portion is formed. And a core pressing portion to be brought into contact with the core wire.
[0007]
Further, the blade may be formed in a circular shape and detachably attached to the attachment portion.
[0008]
Further, the protection portion may be configured such that at least one pair of the core wire holding portion and the cut portion is formed symmetrically with respect to a center line of the protection portion.
[0009]
[Action]
In the above configuration, a necessary portion of the cable retainer is removed as follows. At the time of the cable holding winding cutting operation, a necessary part of the cable is stripped off with a dedicated tool or the like, and the cable holding winding is exposed at the stripped portion. Insert the tip of the cutout of the protective part into the exposed edge of the cable retainer winding. The portion of the cable retainer into which the cut end is inserted is lifted by the cut. Then, the core wire holding portion is brought into contact with the surface of the core wire portion in the cable holding wire, and the core wire holding portion is moved along the surface of the core wire portion. Thus, the cable retainer inserted into the cut portion is guided by the edge of the blade exposed in the cut portion, and cut by the edge portion of the blade. At this time, since the core wire pressing portion is in contact with the core portion, there is no possibility that the core portion of the core portion may be caught and cut or pressed. By moving the cable presser winding cutting tool so that the core presser portion is along the surface of the corerer portion, it is possible to continuously insert and guide the cable presser winding into the cut portion to perform a cutting operation. With this configuration, the cable presser winding can be cut off without damaging the cable core, and the cable presser can be easily removed from the core. In addition, since the edge of the blade is not exposed to the outside, safety in operation can be ensured. Note that the method of cutting the cable retainer winding may be such that it is cut in an appropriate direction according to the type of the cable, the winding method of the cable retainer, the material, and the like.
[0010]
In addition, when the blade is formed in a circular shape and is detachably attached to the mounting portion, the blade is removed from the mounting portion, and then the blade is rotated by a predetermined angle and then re-attached to the mounting portion. The portion of the edge portion of the blade exposed from can be easily changed. Accordingly, even when the edge portion of the blade exposed in the cutout loses the cutting function due to long-term use or the like, the blade can be attached to the mounting portion so that the undegraded edge portion is exposed. For this reason, even if the cutting function is lost due to the deterioration of the exposed edge portion of the cable press winding cutting tool, the cutting function can be easily recovered. As described above, the edge portion of the blade can be used over the entire circumference, so that the blade can be used for a long time without waste in cost.
[0011]
Further, when the protective part is formed by forming at least one pair of the core wire holding part and the cut part symmetrically with respect to the center line of the protective part, both when the worker is right-handed and also when left-handed The cutting work can be performed by the dominant hand. For this reason, a cutting operation can be performed without giving an uncomfortable feeling to the operator.
