Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a mold for simultaneous in-mold injection molding and painting for pressing a continuous painted sheet having a pattern against the inner wall of a cavity by an injection pressure and performing painting simultaneously with injection molding.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, the in-mold injection molding simultaneous painting apparatus has a movable female mold 100 and a male mold 101 fixed opposite to the female mold 100 as shown in FIG. A continuous picture sheet S in which pictures are formed at a predetermined pitch between the sheets 101 runs between the supply roll 102 and the take-up roll 103. A pinch roller 104 is provided near the supply roll 102, and a sensor 105 for positioning the painting sheet S at a predetermined position in the cavity of the female mold 100 is provided below the pinch roller 104.
[0003]
In such an in-mold injection molding simultaneous painting apparatus, a plate-shaped product 106 as shown in FIG. 4 is formed, and a pattern P is formed on the upper painting surface of the product 106. In order to mold such a product 106, as shown in FIG. 5 , a female mold 100 in which a cavity 108 is formed is used. The male mold 101 is overlapped so that the painting sheet S is positioned on the inner wall side of the cavity 108. When the male mold 101 is ejected in this state, the continuous painting sheet S is pressed by the injection pressure, and the product 106 as shown in FIG. Is done.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, at the time of the above-mentioned injection molding, as shown in FIG. 6 , wrinkles W are formed at the corners of the cavity 108, or the wrinkles W are torn at those portions. Symbol g is a gate.
[0005]
In particular, when the cavity 108 has a secondary curved surface, a large area, or the like, the wrinkles and tears are apt to occur because the painted sheet S is remarkably stretched into a three-dimensional shape by the injection pressure.
Therefore, the present invention provides an in-mold injection-molding simultaneous painting metal member that can obtain a molded product (product) in which a wrinkle, a tear, or the like does not occur at the time of injection molding of a painted sheet and in which an accurate painted pattern is formed. The purpose is to provide a type.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is directed to an in-mold in which an injection resin is poured from a gate in a state where a painting sheet is disposed between a female mold and a male mold disposed opposite to each other, and molding and painting are simultaneously performed by an injection pressure. In the injection molding simultaneous painting mold, the gate is a product forming portion of a cavity formed by the female mold and the male mold , and is a central portion in the vertical direction, and at a position other than the central portion in the horizontal direction, It is formed so as to have a perspective with respect to the outer peripheral portion , only in the vicinity of the gate on the outer peripheral portion of the product forming portion and only in the vertical upper and lower portions of the outer peripheral portion, one of the female type and the male type. An engagement protrusion for holding the painting sheet in cooperation is provided, and an engagement recess for engaging with the engagement protrusion is provided on the other.
[0007]
[Action]
According to the present invention, when the painted sheet is sandwiched between the molds so as to be able to be ejected, the painted sheet is firmly sandwiched between the engaging protrusions and the engaging concave portions, and the displacement of the painted sheet is reduced. On the other hand, at a position far from the gate, distortion of the painting sheet is originally accumulated at the time of injection, and wrinkles increase. On the other hand, at a position near the gate, the accumulation of the distortion is small, so that the occurrence of wrinkles is small. Therefore, at a position far from the gate, the painted sheet slightly slides due to clearance by the parting line, and wrinkles are reduced. Therefore, wrinkles at a position near and far from the gate can be balanced, and wrinkles are less likely to occur on the whole of the painted sheet.
[0008]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on the illustrated embodiments. FIG. 1 shows a perspective view and a sectional view of a mold according to the present embodiment.
[0009]
As shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the mold for simultaneous in-mold injection molding and painting according to the present invention comprises a movable female mold 1 and a fixed male arranged opposite to the female mold 1. Type 2 A continuous picture sheet S having a pattern formed between the two dies 1 and 2 is arranged so as to be able to run in the arrow Y direction.
[0010]
A flat concave surface 3 is formed in the female mold 1, and a gate 4 is formed at a central portion in the vertical direction of the concave surface 3 and slightly to the left in the horizontal direction. A semi-cylindrical engagement protrusion 5 made of urethane is provided on an upper flat portion on the front surface of the female mold 1, and a similar engagement protrusion 6 is provided on a lower flat portion of the female mold 1. The engaging projection 5 and 6, towards the height of the portion indicated by a symbol R 1 has formed a slightly raised tapered than the height of indicated at R 2. In addition, as the material of the engagement protrusions 5 and 6, silicon rubber, fluorine rubber, metal, or the like is preferable in addition to the urethane. The length of the engaging projections 5 and 6 is preferably 10 to 60% of the width of the product to be molded.
[0011]
A core portion 22 inserted into the concave surface 3 is formed on the front surface of the male mold 2, and a cavity C is formed by the core portion 22 and the concave surface 3 of the female mold 1. That is, the cavity C is formed by the concave surface 3 which is a product forming portion and the core portion 22. An engaging recess 23 is formed on the upper flat portion of the male mold 2 so as to engage with the engaging protrusion 5, and an engaging recess 23 is formed on the lower flat portion of the male mold 2 so as to engage with the engaging protrusion 6. A recess 24 is formed.
[0012]
The continuous painting sheet S has, for example, a layer structure shown in FIG. That is, an antistatic layer 32 made of a surfactant is formed on an upper surface of a base sheet 31 made of PET and having a thickness of 38 μm, and an acrylic melamine-based release layer 33 is formed on a lower surface of the base sheet 31. A release layer 34 serving as a protective layer for the pattern P is formed on the lower surface of the release layer 33, a pattern layer 35 including the pattern P is formed on the lower surface of the release layer 34, and the pattern layer 35 is covered with an adhesive layer 36. Has been done.
[0013]
Next, a description will be given of a molding operation of the mold configured as described above.
The painting sheet S is inserted into a gap where the female mold 1 and the male mold 2 are arranged to face each other. A reference mark (not shown) is written on the painting sheet S, and a sensor (not shown) detects the reference mark, and a painting sheet position adjusting device (not shown) operates to select an optimum position for forming and painting. .
[0014]
Next, the female mold 1 is pressed against the male mold 2 to form a cavity C. When the female mold 1 is pressed, the picture sheet S is sandwiched between the engagement protrusion 5 and the engagement recess 23 at the upper part of the mold, and is sandwiched between the engagement protrusion 6 and the engagement recess 24 at the lower part of the mold. .
[0015]
When the injection resin is poured from the gate 4 provided in the female mold 1 in this state, the injection resin flows while pressing the painting sheet S sequentially toward the opposite end surface. If the engaging projections and the engaging recesses are not provided, wrinkles of the painted sheet at the time of molding are more likely to occur at positions farther from the gate position where the painted sheet distortion is large. That is, the farther from the gate, the more the distortion of the painted sheet accumulates and the more wrinkles increase. Therefore, if the non-slip (engagement projections, engagement recesses) of the painting sheet is provided at a position near the gate, the displacement of the painting sheet at a position near the gate is reduced. That is, irrespective of the distance from the gate, the wrinkles are almost evenly distributed on the painting sheet, and wrinkles are less likely to occur.
[0016]
The result of actually molding a product using the molds 1 and 2 of the present example and the result of molding using the mold of the conventional example are shown.
(I) The present example The painted sheet used had the layer configuration shown in FIG. 2, the molded AS resin was Stylac AS Clear made by Asahi Kasei, the molding pressure was 250t, and the painted sheet at the time of transfer was used. Was a continuous roll feed.
[0017]
As a result of forming 100 shots, the positional deviation in the feed direction of the painted sheet was ± 0.2 mm with respect to the standard position. As described above, when the displacement is reduced, the wrinkles of the painted sheet are reduced, and the wrinkles of the molded product are reduced.
[0018]
( II ) Comparative example (1)
In the mold shown in FIG. 1, this is a case where both the engagement protrusions 5 and 6 and the engagement recesses 23 and 24 are not formed. Other conditions are the same as in the present embodiment.
[0019]
As a result of forming 100 shots, the positional deviation of the painted sheet in the feed direction was ± 1.0 mm with respect to the standard position.
( III ) Comparative example (2)
In the mold shown in FIG. 1, the engagement projection is provided from the left end to the right end of the upper side of the concave surface 3, and further provided from the left end to the right end of the lower side. Other conditions are the same as in the present embodiment.
[0020]
100 shots molded result, the feeding direction of the positional deviation of the decorative sheet has been a ± 0.2 mm with respect to the standard position, wrinkles occurred at the position indicated by reference numeral D 1, D 2 in FIG. 1.
[0021]
[0022]
In this embodiment, the transfer type is used as the painting sheet. However, it is needless to say that the present invention can be applied to a lamination type.
[0023]
