【産業上の利用分野】
この出願に係る発明(以下「本願発明」と略称する)は、スウェットパンツやトレ−ナ等の被縫製物の足首部分や袖口部分に周長の異なるゴム編み筒状リブを縫合するミシンに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来は、実開昭61−77975号により開示されているように、筒型ベッドミシンと、筒型ベッドの前後に一固定軸線を中心に回動可能な固定張力手段を配置し、該固定張力手段より下方または上方位置に上下方向に移動可能な固定張力手段との平行軸線を中心に回動可能とした可動張力手段とで構成され、ゴムテ−プ及びゴムテ−プを縫合する布の縁を両張力手段に掛け渡して内面から支持し、可動張力手段の移動によりゴムテ−プ及び布に対して内面から張力を与えた状態で縫合するものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記のような構成からなる従来の装置によってゴムテ−プと筒状布とを縫合する場合、自然状態におけるゴムテ−プの周長は筒状布の周長よりも小さいので、両張力手段の支持により少なくともゴムテ−プは緊張した状態で支持される。この種のミシンにおける搬送が送り歯と押え金との挟持によって行なわれると、筒状布側の布送り方向と交差する方向にゴムテ−プが逃げてしまうという問題があった。

また、上記のような構成からなる従来の装置によって縫合する場合、両張力手段によりゴムテ−プが必要以上に緊張した状態で保持されるために、縫合後におけるゴムテ−プの伸縮性が劣化してしまうという問題があった。

本願発明は上記のような実情に鑑みてなされたもので、オペレ−タ−がゴム編み筒状リブと筒状布とをシリンダ−ベッド部にセットし、ミシンを起動させるだけで両被縫製物を各々正確に搬送し、縫合することができるミシンを提供することを主たる目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するため、本願発明の請求項1に係るミシンは、ゴム編み筒状リブと筒状リブの周長より大なる周長を有する筒状布とを内側からシリンダ−ベッドによって支持し、シリンダ−ベッドに設けられた針板より出没する下送り歯で筒状リブを送るとともに、筒状布を上送り歯によっていせ込みながら送り、筒状リブと筒状布とを縫合するミシンにおいて、前記シリンダ−ベッドに対して布送り方向及び布送り方向と直交する方向に移動可能であり、シリンダ−ベッドと協働して前記筒状布を支持する生地ガイドと、生地ガイドと前記シリンダ−ベッドとの間に設けられ、布送り方向に移動可能なリブ支持台と、布送り方向と交差する軸を中心として回転可能にリブ支持台に設けられ、リブ支持台の外面より一部が突出し、その突出部と前記シリンダ−ベッドとが協働して前記筒状リブを保持するようにした複数のロ−ラと、筒状リブを前記ミシンにセットする時には、リブ支持台をシリンダ−ベッドに近接する位置とし、セット後はシリンダ−ベッドから離間する位置となるようリブ支持台を布送り方向に移動させるリブ支持台駆動手段と、筒状布を前記ミシンにセットする時には、リブ支持台から離間した位置にあって、ミシンの縫合開始とともにリブ支持台に向かって所定の速度で布送り方向に生地ガイドを移動させ、生地ガイドがリブ支持台に近接した時に、前記ミシンの縫製線から外れるよう右側に生地ガイドを移動させる生地ガイド駆動手段とを備えたことを特徴とするものである。

また、本願発明の他の態様について請求項3に係るミシンは、ゴム編み筒状リブと筒状リブの周長より大なる周長を有する筒状布とを内側からシリンダ−ベッドによって支持し、シリンダ−ベッドに設けられた針板より出没する下送り歯で筒状リブを送るとともに、筒状布を上送り歯によっていせ込みながら送り、筒状リブと筒状布とを縫合するミシンにおいて、前記シリンダ−ベッドに対して布送り方向と直交する方向に移動可能であり、シリンダ−ベッドと協働して前記筒状布を支持する生地ガイドと、前記シリンダ−ベッドに対して布送り方向に移動可能なリブ支持台と、布送り方向と交差する軸を中心として回転可能にリブ支持台に設けられ、リブ支持台の外面より一部が突出し、その突出部と前記シリンダ−ベッドとが協働して前記筒状リブを保持するようにした複数のロ−ラと、筒状リブを前記ミシンにセットする時には、リブ支持台をシリンダ−ベッドに近接する位置とし、セット後はシリンダ−ベッドから離間する位置となるようリブ支持台を布送り方向に移動させるリブ支持台駆動手段と、縫合中に縫合開始端部が生地ガイドへ近接してきた時に、筒状布側とは反対の布送り方向と交差する方向に生地ガイドを移動させる生地ガイド駆動手段とを備えたことを特徴とするものである。

【作用】
請求項1に記載の発明によれば、シリンダ−ベッドとリブ支持台とに掛け渡されたゴム編み筒状リブをリブ支持台に設けられた複数のロ−ラにより縫合中にゴム編み筒状リブの一端縁側へ一定の力が加わった状態で搬送させ、またシリンダ−ベッドと生地ガイドに掛け渡された筒状布を内面からの張力がかからないように縫合中に生地ガイドをリブ支持台に向かって移動しながら支持するとともに、生地ガイドがリブ支持台に近接した時に生地ガイドをミシンの縫製線から外れるよう右側に移動させることで筒状布を自然周長の状態でいせこみながら搬送し、これより両被縫製物を正確に縫合するように作用することとなる。

【実施例】
以下、本願発明の第1の実施例について、図1〜7に基づいて説明する。ここに示すミシンは、従来のシリンダ−ベッドミシンにおいて、周長の異なる異種の被縫製物の縫合用に改良を加えて用いるもので、シリンダ−ベッドミシンの基本的な機構は一部省略して説明する。

図1において、ミシン1は、上下動して糸を伴う針2と、針通過線NL近傍の上方に配置した被縫製物検知センサ−3(図4参照)と、押え金4と対向して針板5を上面に備えたシリンダ−ベッド6内に針2の上下動に同調して布送り方向に沿って前後上下に四運動し針板5の上面に出没する下送り歯7と布送り方向と交差する方向に左右に揺動する下ル−パ−8とが設けられ、その下ル−パ−8と針板5を挟んで上下方向に移動して運動する上ル−パ−9との協働によって布端に縁かがり縫目を形成されるように構成されると共に、布送り方向における針通過線NL手前に搬送されている両被縫製物のうち筒状布を送る上送り歯10を設け、シリンダ−ベッド6左側へ突出する矩形の固定ア−ム11(図4参照)を装着して形成されている。

ミシン1を固定した水平のミシンテ−ブル12の下面には、布送り方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により作動するピストンを内蔵したシリンダ−13が水平に固定されている。このシリンダ−13内のピストンから先方へ突出するロッド14の先方端には、ミシンテ−ブル12の側面に中間を水平軸17により回動可能に支持された支持板18の一端が回動可能に連結され、支持板18の他端はリブ支持台15の基台16の右側に固定されている。

図2、3において、15はリブ支持台である。基台16は、シリンダ−ベッド6より上下幅が少し小さく、シリンダ−ベッド6の上下幅内で且つ平行位置に設けられている。支持台19は、基台16の布送り込み側に布送り出し側からネジ20で取着され、縫製線SL(図4参照)寄りの一部の前後に筒抜け部21を有し、シリンダ−ベッド6の上下幅と同じ直径で布送り込み側が半円筒状である。角度調整部材22は、支持台19の筒抜け部21に位置付けされ、その一端が基台16を介して調整ネジ23により調整ネジ23の軸線を中心として回動させて固定でき、他端は布送り方向と直交する方向に延びる軸24を回動可能に支持する。軸24の両端には2つのロ−ラ25,25がそれぞれ片止めされ、ロ−ラ25,25の外周の一部が支持台19の半円筒状の外周面から突出している。前述したミシン1のシリンダ−ベッド6とリブ支持台15とに掛け渡されたゴム編み筒状リブRの縁がミシン1の駆動による縫合時に縫製線SL側に導かれるようゴム編み筒状リブRの収縮作用が最も係る位置、ここでは、支持台19の半円筒を2分割する線DL上に設けられた角度調整部材22を中心として2分割線DLに対して軸24を10゜から20°程時計回りに回動させて固定された角度調整部材22にロ−ラ25,25が右上斜め向きで位置決めされている(図3参照)。ロ−ラ25の直径をシリンダ−ベッド6の上下幅よりも小さくすることで、ゴム編み筒状リブRの周長をなるべく小径の状態且つ引っ掛からない状態で支持でき、また、ゴム編み筒状リブRを支持台19とロ−ラ25,25とで支持しているので、最小限のロ−ラ個数でゴム編み筒状リブRを縫製線SL側に案内することができる。
実施例では基台16と支持台19とを分割しているが、基台16がシリンダ−ベッド6とリブ支持台15とに掛け渡されたゴム編み筒状リブRに直接接触しないような構造であれば一体化されたものでもよい。

ミシンテ−ブル12の上面には、図4に示すように布送り方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により移動する磁石片を内蔵したロッドレスシリンダ−26を水平に固定し、ロッドレスシリンダ−26内の磁石片に対応して移動する案内体27の上面に、布送り方向と直交する方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により作動するピストンを内蔵したシリンダ−28を設け、シリンダ−28内のピストンから先方へ突出するロッド29の先方端に生地ガイド30を取着している。この生地ガイド30がロッド29を中心として回動しないようにロッド29と平行に案内棒31の一端を生地ガイド30に取着し、他端は案内体27に摺動可能に支持されている。ロッドレスシリンダ−26内に設けられた磁石片の進退速度はロッドレスシリンダ−26に設けた周知の速度制御機構で空気の供給排出量を調節して、縫合が開始されてから縫合開始部SSがミシン1の搬送手段により生地ガイド30の布送り込み側手前まで搬送される時間と合うようにすることで縫製中には筒状布W内側から外側への張力がかからないようにしている。

生地ガイド30は、図1に詳示するようにリブ支持台15に対してゴミ編み筒状リブRが入る程度の隙間を開けて支持台19の半円筒上部を覆うような高さに位置付けされている。生地ガイド30がリブ支持台15に近接し非作用位置である右方向に回避する時に、筒状布Wが生地ガイド30の回避に伴って生地ガイド30と一緒に移動しないように平面状の生地ガイド30の後方部を円弧状に滑らかに下方へ屈曲させている。この屈曲面に覆い被さる筒状布Wに外側から内側へかかる張力が発生しても、張力が均等に分散して筒状布の縫製に影響を与えないようにしている。

ミシン1の手前には、布送り方向に直交する方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により作動するピストンを内蔵したシリンダ−32を水平に固定し、シリンダ−32内のピストンから先方に突出するロッド33の先端には生地案内34が固定されている。シリンダ−ベッド6の針通過線NL手前の縫製線SL上に設けられた周知の布縁用切断メス(図示せず)の手前でこの生地案内34は縫製線SLに案内面を沿わせて被縫製物の布縁を切断メスが切断しないように布縁を案内する。

シリンダ−32に平行して、布送り方向に直交する方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により作動するピストンを内蔵したシリンダ−35を水平に固定し、シリンダ−35内のピストンから先方に突出するロッド36の先端に案内片37の一端を固定し、他端に生地外し棒38が固定されている。縫合された両被縫製物を縫製線SLから外すために、案内片37と生地外し棒38はシリンダ−ベッド6とリブ支持台15との間で両被縫製物に接し縫製線SLの右側から縫製線SLを越えて左側まで移動する。

次に作用の説明をする。
リブ支持台15が固定ア−ム11を有したシリンダ−ベッド6に近接した状態でゴム編み筒状リブRをシリンダ−ベッド6とリブ支持台15とに掛け渡し、ゴム編み筒状リブRの縁を縫製線SLに沿うようにセットする。このゴム編み筒状リブRが検知センサ−3によって検知されると図4に示すように、リブ支持台15がシリンダ−13の作動により逆布送り方向に所定の距離だけ離間移動してその後停止しゴム編み筒状リブRに収縮作用がかかった状態となる。図7に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、検知センサ−3がゴム編み筒状リブRを検知した後時間T1後にリブ支持台15がシリンダ−ベッド6に対して離間する位置に移動するようにしている。それから筒状布Wをシリンダ−ベッド6と縫製線SL上に停止している生地ガイド30に筒状布Wの一部が垂下した状態で掛け渡し、筒状布Wの縁をゴム編み筒状リブRの縁に沿うようにして重ねる。その後、押え金4を降下させて両被縫製物を押える。図7に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、押え信号を与えると直ちに押え金4が降下するようにしている。この状態で、例えばペダルスイッチ等を操作することにより縫合指令を出す。そして、この縫合指令とともに、ロッドレスシリンダ−26内の磁石片を所定の速度で移動させ、これに対応して案内体27が磁石片に追従移動し生地ガイド30はリブ支持台15へ近接していく。図7に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、縫合指令後直ちに生地ガイド30を布送り方向に作動させるロッドレスシリンダ−26の電気信号をOFFにするとともに、縫合指令後T2時間後にミシン1の縫合を開始するようにしている。

以上に示したようにゴム編み筒状リブRの縁をリブ支持台15に設けたロ−ラ25,25により縫製線SLに沿うようにして筒状布Wとゴム編み筒状リブRとを縫合していくと、やがて図5(側面図は図1参照)に示すように、生地ガイド30がリブ支持台15に近接した状態になり、筒状布Wとゴム編み筒状リブRとの縫合開始部SSがロ−ラ25,25の手前に達すると、その時点でシリンダ−28を作動させて、先端に生地ガイド30が取り付けられたロッド29を縫製線SLから外れるよう右側に作動させる(図6参照)。図7に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、ミシン1が縫合を開始してからカウントされる運針数がk1に達したことにより、縫合開始部がロ−ラ25,25の手前に達した時点を知り、それに基づいてシリンダ−28の電気信号をOFFにして先端に生地ガイド30を設けたロッド29を収縮させている。これによって、筒状布Wとゴム編み筒状リブRとの両一端縁を縫合し続けると双方の周長を一致させることができる。

また、筒状布Wとゴム編み筒状リブRとの両一端縁を一致させるため、図7に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、ミシン1が縫合を開始してからカウントされる運針数がk2に達した時にシリンダ−32の電気信号をONにして、布縁用切断メス(図示せず)の手前側に配置された生地案内34を布送り方向と直交する方向に非作用位置から作用位置である縫製線SLに進出させて両被縫製物の縫合開始部の一端縁が再び切断されないようにしている。

また、筒状布Wとゴム編み筒状リブRとの縫合後の縫糸処理について、リブ支持台15をシリンダ−13の作動によりシリンダ−ベッド6側へ戻してから生地外し棒38をシリンダ−35により作動させることによって筒状布Wとゴム編み筒状リブRを縫製線SLと直交する方向に押し出して両被縫製物縁に連なる空環をミシンにより発生させ、周知の糸切断装置で糸を切断できるようにしている。図7に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、ミシン1が縫合を開始してからカウントされる運針数がk3に達し且つ生地案内34が布縁用切断メス手前で進出した後にシリンダ−13の電気信号をOFFにしてリブ支持台15をシリンダ−ベッド6側へ戻し、生地案内34の作動後からカウントされる運針数がk4に達した時にシリンダ−35の電気信号をONにして生地外し棒38を作動させて両被縫製物縁に連なる空環がミシンにより発生するようにしている。

前述の縫糸処理後にミシンを停止し、その停止後T3時間後に押え金を上昇させて縫合した両被縫製物を取り除けるようにしている。

次に本願発明の第2の実施例に関する装置について図8、9及び10に基づいて説明する。ただし、第1の実施例で用いられたものについては同一の符号を使用し、第1の実施例と構造が同じであるミシン1、リブ支持台15、生地案内34と生地外し棒38については説明を省略する。

図8において、ミシンテ−ブル12の上面に固定板(図示せず)をネジで固定している。この固定板に布送り方向と直交する方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により作動するピストンを内蔵したシリンダ−28を図5に示すように設け、シリンダ−内のピストンから先方へ突出するロッド29の先方端に生地ガイド板39を取着している。この生地ガイド板39がロッド29を中心として回動可能しないようにロッド29と平行に案内棒31の一端を生地ガイド板39に取着し、他端は固定板に摺動可能に支持されている。生地ガイド板39はリブ支持台15上部でゴム編み筒状リブRが入る程度の隙間を有した高さに位置付けされている。

図8、9において、40は補助搬送ロ−ラである。ブラケット41は、その一端がミシンテ−ブル12上に取り付けられ、他端には上下方向に沿って進退するように空気の供給排出により作動するピストンを内蔵したシリンダ−42が取り付けられている。シリンダ−42内のピストンから先方へ突出するロッド43の先方端に水平板44が取り付けられている。水平板44の下方に平行に板45が配置され、板45に一端が取着され他端が水平板44に設けられた孔にそれぞれ摺動可能に支持された一対の案内軸46,46が設けられている。水平板44が降下すると、これに連動して板45が降下するように両板44、45間の一対の案内軸46,46にコイルバネ47,47がそれぞれ設けられている。調節部材48は、その一端を板45の下方に調節ネジ49により調節ネジ49の軸線を中心として回動可能に調節固定でき、他端に水平方向に回転可能に軸50を支持している。ロ−ラ51は、軸50の一端に片止めされている。この補助搬送ロ−ラ40は、前述したミシン1のシリンダ−ベッド6と生地ガイド板39とに掛け渡された筒状布Wの生地ガイド板39上部に対向して配置されている。縫合開始時にシリンダ−42の作動により降下し、生地ガイド板39と協働して筒状布Wを挟持するロ−ラ51は、ミシン1の駆動による縫合時に筒状布Wが縫製線SL側に導かれるよう通常は調節部材48を図10に示すように調節ネジ49を中心として布送り方向Lに対して10から20゜程反時計回りに回動させて、底面から見るとロ−ラ51が右上斜め向きの状態となるよう調節ネジ49により固定されている。

次に図11に示すタイミングチャ−トにしたがって作用を説明する。
まず、ゴム編み筒状リブRを固定ア−ム11を有したシリンダ−ベッド6とリブ支持台15とに掛け渡す。このゴム編み筒状リブRの掛け渡しが検知センサ−3によって検知された後時間T1後にリブ支持台15がシリンダ−ベッド6に対して離間する位置に移動するとともに、生地ガイド板39をゴム編み筒状リブRが掛けられたリブ支持台15の上方で且つ縫製線SL上にシリンダ−28の作動により移動させる。それから筒状布Wをシリンダ−ベッド6と縫製線SL上に停止している生地ガイド板39に筒状布Wの一部が垂下した状態で掛け渡し、筒状布Wの縁をゴム編み筒状リブRの縁に沿うようにして重ね、その後、押え金4を降下させて両被縫製物を押える。この状態で、例えばペダルスイッチ等を操作することにより縫合指令を出す。そして、縫合指令と同時に補助搬送ロ−ラ40を生地ガイド板39に支持されている筒状布W上面に接触させる。図11に示すタイミングチャ−トでは、縫合指令後T2時間後にミシン1の縫合を開始するようにしている。
