本発明は、パーソナルコンピュータやワードプロセッサー等に使用されるハードケース型のフロッピーディスクや音楽用ミニコンポ等に使用されるミニディスク(MD)等を収納するディスク収納ケースに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種のディスク収納ケースとして、蓋付きの収納ケース内を仕切り板で仕切って複数のディスク収納室を設けたものや、また特開平11−208760号公報に記載される通り観音開き様に開閉可能としディスクが交互に収納される収納ケースがある。そして、各ディスク収納室の入口側には収納ディスクの内容や種類等の情報を表示するための識別タブが取付けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の仕切り板を設けたディスク収納ケースは、一定の空間に多数枚のディスクを収納できる利点を有するが、各ディスク収納室同士の間隔が狭いために、収納した各ディスクに貼り付けた該ディスクに記憶されている情報内容を示す識別タブが、収納ディスクにより遮蔽され、外から読み取ることができず、使用に当って目的とするディスクを取り出すのに時間を要するという問題があった。ディスク取り出し上の不便さは各ディスク収納室の間隔を空けることにより解消できるが、そうすると、一定の空間に収納できるディスクの数が減少してしまうという問題がある。また、前記観音開き様に開閉可能な収納ケースは、ディスクの内容を表示する識別タブの見づらさの解消が不十分である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで、前記の難点を克服するため、本発明に係るディスク収納ケースは、矩形状の仕切り板で形成される複数のディスク収納室を所定間隔で画成した二つの四角形状のディスク収納ケースを連結ヒンジを介して開閉自在に連結し、該一方の四角形状のディスク収納ケースに係る収納室と他方のディスク収納ケースに係る収納室とを互いに位相をずらし、四角形状のディスク収納ケースの上端部にロック機構を設け、ディスク収納室の外側端部に空き状態のディスク収納室の判別を容易にする識別耳部を延設するよう構成したことを特徴とする。

また、二つの四角形状のディスク収納ケースの下端面に脚部を設け、これらの脚部はディスク収納ケースを開放した際に衝合しないよう形成し、連結ヒンジとして蝶番を取着することによりディスク収納ケースの安定性が増し、ヒンジ部の強度が増大し耐久性が改善される。

また、四角形状のディスク収納ケースの上端部に取手部を形成し、この取手部にロック機構を付設することにより多量のディスクを収納したディスク収納ケースの持ち運びが便利になる。

次に、本発明に係るディスク収納ケースの実施例につき、添付図面を参照しながら以下詳細に説明する。

図1は、本発明の実施例に係るディスク収納ケース10が閉の状態にある斜視図であり、二つの四角形状のディスク収納ケース12および14、蝶番16、ロック機構18及び脚部19、20を示す。

図2は、図1のディスク収納ケース10を開放するときの状態を示し、図2(a)の四角形状のディスク12および14が閉じた状態から蝶番16を介して図2(b)の様に漸次開放され、図2(c)に示すように開放された際には、ミニディスク22がディスク収納ケースから突出して収納されるので、ディスクに記憶されている情報内容を示す識別タブ23の判別が容易である。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係るディスク収納ケースは、ディスクに記憶されている情報内容を示す識別タブの判別が容易であり、空き状態のディスク収納室も容易に判別でき、ディスク表面を一方向に整列でき、さらにディスク割当収納および選択取出しも確実にしかも簡便に行なうことができる。
