しかし、洗い場面は水はけをよくするためにすり鉢状等の三次元形状を採用するなど表面には必ず排水勾配を設けている。その場合、裏面も単純な平面では無い曲面となっており、面状ヒータはその貼り付け面が平面では無いので取付けることが容易ではなかった。さらに面状ヒータに当接する断熱材も形状に合わせて成形する必要があった。さらに洗い場は耐荷重性を確保するために裏面に適切な補強リブ構成や補強桟を必要とし、面状ヒータは複数個に分割しないと取付けられず、断熱材も複数面に対応した形状が要求され、部品種類や金型面数が増大して製造管理の複雑化やコストがかかるなどの課題があった。

本発明は上記課題を解決するために、浴室洗い場の採暖面に相当する裏面に、順に面状ヒータと弾力性を有する軟質断熱材と硬質断熱材とを配置した構成とする。
