[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission, and in particular, includes at least first, second, and third frictional engagement elements, and the first frictional engagement element and the second frictional engagement element are simultaneously engaged. The present invention relates to a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission including a power transmission path that interlocks when the first frictional engagement element and the third frictional engagement element are simultaneously engaged and when the first frictional engagement element and the third frictional engagement element are simultaneously engaged.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, an automatic transmission for a vehicle includes a torque converter and a multi-stage transmission mechanism using a planetary gear mechanism and the like, and various clutches, brakes and other friction engagement elements for switching a power transmission path in the multi-stage transmission mechanism are provided. In this case, by changing the engagement / release state of these friction engagement elements in various ways, by selectively connecting a plurality of rotation elements in a planetary gear mechanism or the like, or by braking the rotation of a specific rotation element, Is automatically selected for the driving state of the vehicle. The engagement or release of the friction engagement element is usually performed by a hydraulic circuit.
[0003]
However, a conventional automatic transmission for a vehicle incorporates a shift valve that is switched according to a throttle opening and a vehicle speed, a regulator valve that controls a line pressure, and an accumulator that sets an engagement pressure characteristic of each friction engagement element. Therefore, when the number of gears is increased, the required number of shift valves and accumulators increases, the valve body becomes large, the hydraulic circuit becomes complicated, and the weight, volume and cost increase. This has been a major obstacle to reducing the size and cost of the automatic transmission.
[0004]
In addition, the accumulator sets the engagement pressure characteristics of the friction engagement element by the orifice and spring force, so that accurate shock control cannot be performed for all shift conditions such as throttle opening, vehicle speed, oil temperature, etc. However, there is a problem that it is difficult to adjust different types of automatic transmissions.
[0005]
Furthermore, at the time of 2-3 shifts and 3-4 shifts, since three frictional engagement elements of two clutches and one brake are controlled with a time difference, there is a problem that a time lag increases and a shift shock increases. .
[0006]
Therefore, for example, in a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-299351, by providing a plurality of shift solenoid valves for directly controlling the engagement hydraulic pressure of a friction engagement element by duty control during shifting, By reducing the number of shift valves and accumulators, the valve body has been downsized, and fine-grained shock control has been enabled for all shifting conditions.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the automatic transmission having the above-described configuration, when two frictional engagement elements are simultaneously engaged, an interlock (mechanical lock) occurs in the power transmission path. For example, when the multi-speed transmission mechanism is a Ravigneaux type planetary gear mechanism, a low reverse brake for fixing the pinion carrier at the first speed and reverse and a 2-4 brake for fixing the large sun gear at the second and fourth speeds are simultaneously engaged. In this case, or when the low reverse brake and the 3-4 clutch that drives the carrier at the third speed and the fourth speed are simultaneously engaged, an interlock occurs in the power transmission path.
[0008]
Therefore, in the hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission described in the above publication, by providing a plurality of relay valves controlled by the solenoid valves, two frictional engagement elements that have an interlock relationship with each other are simultaneously engaged. Is being prevented.
[0009]
However, when the relay valve is provided, the hydraulic control device is inevitably complicated, and this has led to an increase in cost.
[0010]
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention provides an automatic transmission capable of avoiding the interlock without using a relay valve, while having a configuration in which the engagement hydraulic pressure of the friction engagement element is directly controlled by a transmission solenoid valve or the like. To provide a hydraulic control device for the machine.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention includes at least first, second, and third frictional engagement elements, and when the second frictional engagement element and the third frictional engagement element are simultaneously engaged. When the first frictional engagement element and the second frictional engagement element are simultaneously engaged, and when the first frictional engagement element and the third frictional engagement element Pressure adjusting means for directly controlling the engagement hydraulic pressure of the first friction engagement element and the second friction engagement element in an automatic transmission having a power transmission path that generates an interlock when the two are simultaneously engaged. the provided, while selectively connected to pressure regulating means and said first frictional engagement element and the second frictional engagement element, one of said first frictional engagement element and the third friction engagement element Is concluded One switching valve that operates to release the other is provided across the hydraulic oil supply circuit of the first, second, and third frictional engagement elements. .
[0012]
The switching valve is switched to a position for supplying hydraulic oil only to the first frictional engagement element, using a hydraulic pressure generated at least in a reverse speed as a pilot pressure.
[0013]
Although the pressure regulating means is constituted by an electromagnetic solenoid valve, it is preferable that the electromagnetic solenoid valve be a three-way duty solenoid valve.
[0014]
Alternatively, the upper Sulfur butterfly pressure means may be constituted by a combination of a duty solenoid valve and the pressure regulating valve.
[0015]
[Action and effect of the invention]
According to the present invention, the first frictional engagement element and the second frictional engagement element, which have an interlocking relationship when simultaneously engaged, are selectively connected to the pressure regulating means by the switching valve. With such a configuration, there is no possibility that the first friction fastening element and the second friction fastening element are simultaneously fastened.
[0016]
Further, when one of the first frictional engagement element and the third frictional engagement element is engaged, the switching valve operates to release the other. Since there is no possibility that the third frictional engagement element is simultaneously engaged with the third frictional engagement element, a simple hydraulic pressure control without using a relay valve can be achieved even though the engagement hydraulic pressure of the frictional engagement element is directly controlled by an electromagnetic solenoid valve or the like. The interlock can be avoided by using a circuit.
[0017]
Further, when the pressure adjusting means is formed of a three-way duty solenoid valve, when draining the hydraulic oil from the friction engagement element, the oil passage on the main pressure side can be closed, so that the consumption of the hydraulic oil can be reduced. .
