【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、円弧形の錠杆の前後に施錠掛止部をそれぞれ設け、この前後2個所の施錠掛止部を施錠する二つの錠機構を、中空で円弧形をなす錠ケースの両開口部の近傍にそれぞれ設けた自転車用リング錠に関し、円弧形の錠杆とは別に錠本体にフレキシブル錠杆を取り付けて、この錠杆を円弧形の錠杆と共に施錠させるようにしたことを特長とするものである。

【従来の技術】
リング錠の錠杆を2個所で施錠させるようにした自転車用リング錠には、例えば本出願人の先願に特開平8ー268358号がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記先願のリング錠は、二つの錠機構で施錠するので、妄りに開錠されることがなく、施錠の安全性を備えて盗難予防効果が向上するが、1個のリング錠であることには変わりがないので、より強固な施錠を希望する使用者においては、別にチエン錠とかワイヤー錠のようなフレキシブルで長尺の錠杆体を有する錠前を併用して、例えば柵あるいは街路樹等の固定物にも繋ぎ止めて置くようにすることが多くなった。

上記のようにして、フレキシブルで長尺の錠杆体を具えた別の錠前を併用すると、施錠の安全性が高まる一方で、購入時に取り付けられている錠前とは別にワイヤー錠等を購入する必要があって高価になる。また、チエン錠とかワイヤー錠には、非使用時の携行に不便がともない、かつ、併用した場合に開錠操作が二重になるという使用上の煩瑣を生ずる。
そのために、この種の錠前をより強固に用いられるようにし、かつ、非使用時の携行に不便がなく、更に、開錠操作の容易な自転車用リング錠を開発することが解決すべき課題となっていた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで本発明は、円弧形の錠杆の前後2個所に施錠掛止部を設け、この2個所の施錠掛止部を個別に施錠する二つの錠機構を、中空で円弧形をなす錠本体の両開口部の近傍にそれぞれ設けた自転車用リング錠において、上記錠本体の適宜位置にフレキシブル錠杆の固定端を取り付け、このフレキシブル錠杆の先端の錠杆部を上記錠機構の内の一方の近傍に設けた施錠穴に挿入して、該錠機構に付設した鉤板により、前記円弧形の錠杆と共に施錠させるように構成して、一個のリング錠を3個所で施錠するようにしたことを特徴とする自転車用リング錠を提供するものである。

本リング錠は、円弧形の錠杆を2個所の錠機構で施錠できる上に、付設されているフレキシブル錠杆を用いて、近くにある立木とか柵とかに自転車を繋ぎ止めることができる。

そして、本リング錠は、チエン錠とかワイヤー錠に匹敵するフレキシブル錠が一体に備えられているので、別に購入する場合に比べて高価にならない。フレキシブル錠杆が、円弧形の錠杆と共に開錠されるので、操作が煩雑でなく、かつ、携行に便利になる。
本発明は、以上のようにして前記の課題を解決したものである。

以下に本発明の実施例を図面について説明する。
図面に示すように、この自転車用リング錠Lは、円弧形で中空体の錠ケース1内に、牽引ばね2に牽引される円弧形の錠杆3を備え、錠ケース1の下部で対向する右側と左側の両開口部1a,1bの近傍に二つの錠機構4,5をそれぞれ備えている。

円弧形の錠杆3は、施錠状態において、図2に示すように、二つの錠機構4,5の内端にそれぞれ付設されている鉤板4’5’により施錠される施錠掛止部6,7を前後に2個所備えている。

図1に示すように、錠ケース1は、ケースの上部内に固定端9を固定してコイル状に巻収されたフレキシブル錠杆8を一体に備え、該錠杆8の自由端に設けた錠杆部10を、図示右側の錠機構4の近傍に開口する施錠穴11内に挿入させて、図2に示すように、該錠機構4の内端の鉤板4’の裏面に重ね合わせた鉤板12により施錠する。

上記錠杆部10を施錠する鉤板12は、上面に重ね合わされた鉤板4’の側面に設けた掛止爪13に前縁を掛止され、後端からばね14に付勢されており、鉤板4’の開錠動作(図示右回転)に従動して後退し、先端の二股部分で掛止している錠杆部10の擬宝珠形の先端部分を開放する。

以上のように構成したこのリング錠Lは、錠ケース1と一体にフレキシブル錠杆8を備えたので、円弧形の錠杆3を2個所で施錠できる上に、必要に応じてフレキシブル錠杆8を用い、従来のチエン錠と同様にフレキシブル錠杆8の長さの範囲で固定物に自転車を繋ぎ止めることができる。
また、フレキシブル錠杆8の開錠は、一方の錠機構4の鉤板4’の開錠動作と同時に行われるので、手間がかからない。
図中、15は円弧形の錠杆3を施錠操作する場合の摘み、16はそのガイド溝である。

以上のように、本発明は、自転車用リング錠の錠杆を2個所の錠機構で施錠できる上に、より一層施錠を確実にしたい場合は、錠ケースに一体に付設されているフレキシブル錠杆を用いて近くにある立木とか柵とかに自転車を繋ぎ止めることができるので、特別にワイヤー錠等を用意する必要がなくなる。
