TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a recording medium device suitable for use in a tape cassette such as a video tape, and more particularly to a recording medium capable of preventing inconvenience in which another recording information is erroneously overwritten on a tape in a recording state. It concerns the device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, tape cassettes such as audio tapes and video tapes are provided with an erroneous erasure prevention mechanism for preventing information recorded on the tape from being erroneously erased. As the erroneous erasure prevention mechanism, a detection hole is opened and closed by an erroneous erasure prevention plug movable into the cassette housing, and a recording / reproducing state and a reproducing operation are possible but a recording impossible state (a so-called erasure preventing state). And a cassette that is integrated with the cassette housing. When the detection claw is present, a recording / reproducing state is established. When the detection claw is broken off, reproduction is possible, but recording is possible. There is a mechanism that disables it. Further, as another erroneous erasure prevention mechanism, the applicant of the present invention breaks a detection claw provided on a part of the erroneous erasure prevention plug according to Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-21107, so that the erroneous erasure prevention plug is moved regardless of the moving position. There is proposed a mechanism for preventing erroneous erasure of a tape cassette or the like which is permanently set in an erroneous erasure prevention state so that recorded contents are not erroneously erased.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in any of the above-mentioned conventional erasure prevention mechanisms, in the recordable / reproducible state, it was possible to overwrite the already recorded tape. This means that when the tape is rewound and played back to check the recorded contents, the user forgets that the tape has been rewound and performs recording (overwrite recording) from the rewound part to the already recorded part. Therefore, there is a decisive inconvenience that the previously recorded contents are erased.
[0004]
In particular, such a problem occurs in a video camera having a built-in liquid crystal monitor, for example, since a part of an image can be easily reproduced and viewed on the liquid crystal monitor after shooting. It is a thing.
[0005]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and has as its object to provide a recording medium device that prevents information from being overwritten on a recording medium on which information is recorded by a sliding operation of a switching plug. I do.
[0006]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a recording medium device in which the use mode can be switched by folding a plurality of detection claws, and the detection claws are arranged so that the detection claws can be easily broken.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a recording medium device according to the present invention is a recording medium device having switching means for selectively switching a use mode of a recording medium, wherein the switching means is capable of switching by folding a detection claw. And the order in which the detection claws are cut off is such that when the first detection claw is cut off, the second detection claw is easily cut off.
[0008]
With this configuration, it is possible to accurately perform the operation procedure of the usage mode of the recording medium device without making a mistake in the order of cutting the detection claws.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an example in which the recording medium device according to the present invention is applied to a video tape cassette provided with an erroneous erasure prevention mechanism, which is a means for switching its use mode, will be described with reference to the drawings.

Here, whether the tape is in the recording state or the unrecorded state can be detected by, for example, detecting the tape on which the tape is running with a magnetoresistive head (MR head) or the like. The detection position of the magnetoresistive head can be detected by independently arranging it on the running tape portion on the tape supply side, by providing it on a tape guide, or by providing it on a rotating head drum. The detection of whether the tape is in the recorded state or the unrecorded state may be performed by using a detecting unit other than the magnetoresistive head.

[0033]
For example, in after-recording (after-recording) using a recording / reproducing apparatus, in the VHS system, it is possible to record video and audio once with a fixed head and then post-record only audio later. However, it is possible to post-record by adding or exchanging PCM audio recordings later. In such an after-recording operation, the sound is switched by operating the after-recording button of the recording / reproducing apparatus. However, there is a concern that the video may not be erased by mistake.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the drawings, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
[0036]
In the embodiment, the case where the erroneous erasure prevention mechanism is of the plug type and the claw type that can be switched in three stages has been described. However, the present invention is also applicable to a case where the use mode of the recording medium device can be switched in three or more stages. It is.
[0037]
Further, the recording medium device of the present invention is widely applicable to tape cassettes, digital video cassettes, and disk cartridges for 8 mm video in which the erroneous erasure prevention mechanism employs a plug system. Further, the present invention can be widely applied to a video cassette or a compact cassette for audio of a VHS system or a beta-max system in which an erroneous erasure prevention mechanism employs a tear-off claw system.
[0038]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the recording medium device of the present invention is a recording medium device having switching means for selectively switching the use mode of the recording medium, wherein the switching means comprises a plurality of detection means that can be switched by breaking off a detection claw. The order in which the detection claws are cut off is made so that the first detection claw is easily broken off when the first detection claw is broken off. Therefore, there is an effect that the operation procedure of the usage mode of the recording medium device can be accurately performed.
