Description
【0001】

[0037]
Next, an operation for displaying a display image stored in the scroll memory 21 while scrolling it in the horizontal scroll area F on the CRT screen will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
[0038]
First, in step S1, the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 sets a read area A in the scroll memory 21 as shown in FIG. At this time, first, the reading area A is set such that the left end of the scroll memory 21 matches the left end of the reading area A.
[0039]
Next, proceeding to step S2, the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 determines whether or not a part of the read area A has exceeded the range of the display image in the scroll memory 21. If it is determined that a part of the read area A does not exceed the range of the display image in the scroll memory 21, the process proceeds to step
[0040]
Next, proceeding to step S5, in step S3 or step S4, the display image read by the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 is stored in the horizontal scroll area F (FIG. 3) on the CRT screen set in the
[0041]
Next, in step S6, the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 shifts the position of the read area A set in the scroll memory 21 to the right by one dot as shown in FIG. 2C.
[0042]
Next, in step S7, it is determined whether or not the read area A is outside the range of the display image stored in the scroll memory 21. When it is determined that the read area A is not outside the range of the display image stored in the scroll memory 21, the process returns to step S2, and the processing of steps S2 to S7 is repeatedly performed. Thereby, for example, as shown in FIGS. 2D and 2E, the readout area A moves on the scroll memory 21 and the display image in the readout area A is moved to a predetermined position in the
[0043]
On the other hand, if it is determined that the read area A is outside the range of the display image stored in the scroll memory 21, the processing ends. Therefore, in this case, the display image stored in the scroll memory 21 is displayed only once while being scrolled on the CRT screen.
[0044]
The flowchart shown in FIG. 5 shows another operation example in the case where the display image stored in the scroll memory 21 is displayed while being scrolled in the horizontal scroll area F on the CRT screen.
[0045]
First, in step S11, the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 sets a read area A in the scroll memory 21 as shown in FIG. 2B. At this time, the reading area A is set such that the left end of the scroll memory 21 matches the left end of the reading area A.
[0046]
Next, proceeding to step S12, the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 determines whether or not a part of the read area A has exceeded the range of the display image in the scroll memory 21. When it is determined that a part of the readout area A does not exceed the range of the display image in the scroll memory 21, the process proceeds to step S13, and the display image in the readout area A is read out by the horizontal scroll processing unit 22. On the other hand, if it is determined that a part of the readout area A exceeds the range of the display image in the scroll memory 21, the process proceeds to step S14, where the display image in the readout area A is read out, and the readout area A becomes the display image range. An area having the same size as the portion beyond the area is set back to the left end of the display image as shown in FIG. 4F, and the display image of that portion is read.
[0047]
Next, proceeding to step S15, the display image read by the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 in step S13 or step S14 corresponds to the horizontal scroll area F (FIG. 3) of the CRT screen set in the
[0048]
Next, in step S16, the horizontal scroll processing unit 22 shifts the position of the read area A set in the scroll memory 21 to the right by one dot as shown in FIG. 2C.
[0049]
Next, in step S17, it is determined whether or not the read area A is outside the range of the display image stored in the scroll memory 21. When it is determined that the read area A is not outside the range of the display image stored in the scroll memory 21, the process returns to step S2, and the processing of steps S12 to S17 is repeatedly performed.
[0050]
On the other hand, if it is determined that the read area A is outside the range of the display image stored in the scroll memory 21, the process proceeds to step
[0051]
Thereby, for example, as shown in FIGS. 2D and 2F, the readout area A moves on the scroll memory 21 and the display image in the readout area A is read by the horizontal scroll processing unit 22. And is written to a predetermined location in the
[0052]
Accordingly, the display image stored in the scroll memory 21 is repeatedly displayed while scrolling in the horizontal scroll area F of the CRT screen shown in FIG. Here, the diagram shown in FIG. 2D shows an example in which the readout area A is moved to the right by 13 dots in the diagram shown in FIG. 2B. 2F, when a part of the read area A exceeds the range of the display image in the scroll memory 21, the part beyond the range is set back to the left end of the display image. An example of the case is shown.
[0053]
In the case of the CRT screen shown in FIG. 3, there is a horizontal scroll area F at a predetermined upper right position in the teletext screen E in which the text graphic image of the video signal extracted from the

Here, of the display images corresponding to the predetermined characters or figures stored in the scroll memory 21 shown in FIG. 1, the display image in the readout area A shown in FIG. Is displayed. This horizontal scroll area F can be displayed in the teletext screen E as shown in FIG. 3 and can be superimposed on the display image of the teletext program, or as shown in FIG. At a predetermined position within the range D of the display image, along with the teletext image.
