TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a foamed hair cosmetic, and more particularly, foamed hair which has a good feel on use to hair, is excellent in the effect of extending and setting curly hair, and does not clog the foaming container without using a propellant. Related to cosmetics.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, aerosol mousse type hair cosmetics have been widely used for the purpose of setting the hair and extending the curly hair, but liquefied petroleum gas is mainly used as the propellant of this type. This liquefied petroleum gas emits volatile organic compounds into the atmosphere, causing problems such as environmental pollution. In addition, it is flammable at high pressure and is dangerous for use. In recent years, in Europe and the United States, hair cosmetics that use containers such as pumps that do not use a propellant have been on the increase, and resource saving and recycling of containers have been active.
Conventionally, as hair cosmetics that do not use a propellant, in the form of a mist, a polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) polymer, a vinyl acetate polymer, an acidic acrylic polymer, an amphoteric acrylic polymer A film-forming resin such as a compound is used. These film-forming resins generally have a high molecular weight with an average molecular weight of 50,000 or more in order to improve the setting force of the hair, and have a weight of 5.0% by weight or more for the purpose of giving a variation in the setting force. At a high concentration in hair cosmetics.
However, when such a high-molecular weight film-forming resin is used at a high concentration in a foamy hair cosmetic without using a propellant, the viscosity of the solution itself increases, and the resin component is contained in a net portion that generates foam in the container. Is liable to adhere, and there is a problem that a film is formed and clogging occurs. For this reason, although hair setting properties are inferior, soft type hair cosmetics in which the amount of the film-forming resin is reduced as much as possible have become mainstream.
[0003]
The present invention has been made in view of such conventional circumstances, and provides a foamy hair cosmetic composition which has a good feel upon use, is excellent in hair setting properties, has fine foaming properties, and does not use a propellant. With the goal.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Under these circumstances, the present inventors have conducted intensive studies and as a result, have found that the above problems can be solved by using a specific emulsified polymer, and have completed the present invention.
[0005]
That is, the present invention is a foam hair cosmetic containing the following components (A), (B) and (C), and using no propellant.
(A) (a) one selected from the group consisting of C3-C12 mono-carboxylic acid, C3-C12 di-carboxylic acid, C1-C8 alkyl half ester of maleic acid and C1-C8 alkyl half ester of fumaric acid Or 5.0 to 35.0% by weight of two or more ethylenically unsaturated acidic monomers based on all monomers, and (b) C3-C12 acrylate, C3-C12 methacrylate, C1-C8 alkyl. One or more water-insoluble comonomers selected from the group consisting of substituted acrylamides, C1-C8 alkyl-substituted methacrylamides, C3-C12 vinyl esters of carboxylic acids and styrene are used in an amount of 65.0 to 95. An aqueous emulsion containing a polymer component consisting of 0% by weight.
(B) A cosmetically acceptable organic or inorganic base in an amount effective to neutralize a substantial portion of the carboxyl groups without destabilizing or dissolving the aqueous emulsion (A).
(C) a foaming agent comprising one or more nonionic surfactants.
[0006]
In the present invention, (c) a water-soluble hydroxyalkyl ester of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, a C1-C4 alkyl C2-C4 aminoalkyl ester of acrylic acid, as a polymer component in the aqueous emulsion (A). One or more nonionic water-soluble comonomers selected from the group consisting of C1-C4 alkyl C2-C4 aminoalkyl esters of methacrylic acid, acrylamide, methacrylamide, dimethylacrylamide, dimethylacrylamide, N-vinylpyrrolidone and vinylcaprolactam. It can be contained up to 20% by weight based on all monomers.
[0007]
Optionally, the aqueous emulsion (A) may contain small amounts of up to 4.0% by weight of polymer solids of a suitable surfactant.
[0008]
In the present invention, the use of the above-mentioned polymer in the form of a stabilized aqueous emulsion makes it possible to contain a high solid content at a low viscosity. When the solid content is high, an effective amount of the polymer can be supplied to the hair with a minimum amount of water to obtain a good set holding power. Further, when the viscosity is low, the emulsion can be effectively foamed in the pump former container, and clogging can be prevented. Thus, hair fixative products suitable for use with non-aerosol formulations can be obtained by adjusting the solids content, viscosity and particle size of the emulsion.
[0009]
The polymer component in the aqueous emulsion (A) of the present invention comprises the above-mentioned ethylenically unsaturated acidic monomer (a) and water-insoluble comonomer (b) and, if necessary, nonionic water-soluble comonomer (c). It consists of each monomer.
[0010]
The preferred ethylenically unsaturated acidic monomer (a) in the present invention comprises a C1-C8 alkyl half ester of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, crotonic acid, itaconic acid, maleic acid and a C1-C8 alkyl half ester of fumaric acid. One or more selected from the group, among which acrylic acid, crotonic acid and monoisopropyl malate are particularly preferred. The ethylenically unsaturated acidic monomer (a) is blended in an amount of 5 to 35% by weight based on all monomers.
[0011]
The preferred water-insoluble comonomer (b) in the present invention is one or more selected from the group consisting of methyl methacrylate, t-octylacrylamide, vinyl neodecanoate, vinyl acetate and vinyl pivalate. The water-insoluble comonomer (b) is blended in an amount of 65.0 to 95.0% by weight based on all monomers.
[0012]
Preferred nonionic water-soluble comonomers (c) in the present invention are hydroxypropyl methacrylate and hydroxyethyl methacrylate. When the nonionic water-soluble comonomer (c) is blended, the amount is desirably 20.0% by weight or less based on all monomers.
[0013]
The aqueous emulsion (A) of the present invention can be obtained directly by emulsion polymerization of the above monomers, or by producing a polymer by solvent polymerization and then inverting it to water to emulsify it. The aqueous emulsion (A) of the present invention has a polymer solid content of 0.1 to 15.0% by weight, preferably 5.0 to 10.0% by weight in the foam hair cosmetic. It is blended in.
[0014]
In the aqueous emulsion (A) of the present invention, a surfactant can be further used up to 4.0% by weight of the solid polymer content. Among these surfactants, the preferred ones available on the market include Triton X 305 (registered trademark) and Triton X 301 (registered trademark) (a product of Rohm and Haas, Philadelphia, PA), Abex 18S (registered trademark). And Abex 26S (registered trademark) (a product of Alcolac, Baltimore, MD), and Sipon WD (registered trademark) (a product of Rhene-Poulenc, Cranbury, NJ). Here, Triton X305 (registered trademark) is octylphenoxypolyethoxyethanol represented by the following general formula (1), and Triton X301 (registered trademark) is octyl represented by the following general formula (2). Sodium phenoxy polyethoxyethyl sulfonate, Abex 18S and 28S (each registered trademark) are alkyl phenol ether sulfonates, the difference between which is based on the difference in ethylene oxide chain length.

[0017]
Sipon WD is sodium lauryl sulfonate (98%) represented by the formula CH 3 (CH 2 ) 10 CH 2 SO 4 Na.
[0018]
The foamy hair cosmetic composition of the present invention has the above-mentioned aqueous emulsion (A) in water having a solid content of 0.1 to 15.0% by weight, preferably 5.0 to 10.0% by weight. And then neutralize the free acidity of the carboxyl groups with a cosmetically acceptable organic or inorganic base (B), or a combination of these bases, to stabilize the emulsion and shampoo it from the hair. It can be obtained by adding a foaming agent (C) to make it possible to easily remove the polymer and to form a foam.
[0019]
The amount of the organic or inorganic base (B) used for neutralization varies depending on the hydrophilicity of the hair fixing polymer, but without destabilizing or dissolving the aqueous emulsion (A), Any amount that is effective to neutralize a substantial portion may be used. If the neutralization of the polymer is too great, the emulsion will dissolve and become unstable. Accordingly, the amount of the desired organic or inorganic base must be balanced with the stabilization of the aqueous emulsion (A). Usually, the amount of organic or inorganic base is such that it neutralizes 25.0 to 100.0% of the carboxyl groups in the aqueous emulsion.
In the present invention, by adding the organic or inorganic base (B), the carboxyl group in the polymer and the organic or inorganic base (neutralizing agent) are electrically charged to increase the carboxyl group, and the steric hindrance increases the carboxyl group. The polymer, which had been particles until then, is loosened and develops set force.
[0020]
Examples of such an organic or inorganic base include sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, histidine, tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, triethanolamine and the like. The choice of base and the degree of neutralization will affect the flexibility of the hair fixative to keep it soft or firm when applied to the hair. The selection of the base used for flexibility and the degree of neutralization are appropriately selected depending on the required flexibility characteristics.
[0021]
The foaming agent (C) used in the present invention comprises a nonionic surfactant, for example, polyoxyethylene lauryl ether (10-20 EO), polyoxyethylene cetyl ether (5-15 EO), polyoxyethylene stearyl ether (5-10 EO), polyoxyethylene hexyl decyl ether (5-25 EO), polyoxyethylene octyl dodecyl ether (8-25 EO), polyoxyethylene isostearyl ether (10-30 EO), polyoxyethylene decyl tetradecyl ether ( 10-25 EO), polyoxyethylene decyl pentadecyl ether (10-28 EO), polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil (25-100 EO), polyethylene glycol monostearate (5-25 EO), polyoxyethylene glycol Monostearate (5~40EO), and the like. Among them, particularly preferred is polyoxyethylene lauryl ether (12EO). The compounding amount of the foaming agent (C) used in the present invention is 0.1 to 30.0% by weight, preferably 1.0 to 5.0% by weight, based on the total amount of the cosmetic.
[0022]
The aqueous emulsion (A) of the present invention can be formulated into an aqueous system without using an organic solvent. However, when the composition is rapidly dried, the composition may be mixed with an organic solvent. it can. The amount of the solvent used and its selection are appropriately selected depending on the desired final product.
[0023]
In addition to the above-mentioned essential components, the foamy hair cosmetic composition of the present invention may further comprise liquid paraffin, squalane, lanolin derivative, higher alcohol within a quantitative and qualitative range that does not impair the effects of the present invention depending on the purpose. , Various ester oils, avocado oil, palm oil, tallow, jojoba oil, silicone oil, polyalkylene glycol polyether and its carboxylic acid oligoester compounds, oils such as terpene hydrocarbon oils, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1,3 -Water-soluble polyhydric alcohols such as butylene glycol, glycerin, sorbitol, and polyethylene glycol; humectants such as hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate, and pyrrolidone carboxylate; ultraviolet absorbers; ultraviolet scattering agents; acrylic resins; silicone resins; Such as resins, soy protein, Proteins or protein degradation products such as ratin, collagen, silk fibroin and elastin, preservatives such as ethylparaben and butylparaben, activators such as various amino acids, biotin, pantothenic acid derivatives, γ-oryzanol, dextran sodium sulfate, vitamin E derivatives , Blood circulation promoters such as nicotinic acid derivatives, antiseborrheic agents such as sulfur and thianthol, diluents such as ethanol, isopropanol, tetrachlorodifluoroethane, thickeners such as carboxyvinyl polymer, drugs, fragrances, coloring agents, etc. May be appropriately compounded depending on the conditions.
[0024]
The foamy hair cosmetic composition of the present invention thus obtained is suitable for a container not using a propellant, and has a fine foam even when the foamy hair cosmetic composition of the present invention is discharged in such a container. As a result, an excellent feeling in use and hair setting properties can be obtained.
