【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、例えば業務用として用いるモニタ装置など、屋外あるいは医療用等、水滴の飛散しやすい環境で使用される電子機器の防滴カバーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
最近では、例えば業務用として図5(a)に示されているような小型で持ち運びが容易なモニタ装置が一般的になってきている。
この図で30はモニタ装置である。31はモニタ装置30の正面に配されモニタ映像を写し出すCRT、32はCRT31の下方に、例えば電源、アパーチャ補正、輝度補正などの各種操作子が配されている操作部である。側面には、モニタ装置30内部で発生する熱を外部に放出するために複数の放熱スリットS、S、S・・・が例えば垂直方向に設けられている。同図(b)は、この放熱スリットSが設けられている側面の一部であるCの部分を拡大して示す図である。

このモニタ装置30は小型化されているので、持ち運びが容易なことから、スタジオ内の任意の場所に設置することができ、また医療機器として状況に応じて適切な位置に配置し映像のモニタを行なうことが可能である。
さらに、設置可能な場所はスタジオ内に限らず、屋外に持ち出して屋外収録のモニタ装置として使用することも容易である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、例えばモニタ装置30は屋外収録などで、雨天の中で使用されることや、医療機器として使用されるような場合があるが、このような場合、放熱スリットSからモニタ装置30の筐体内に雨(水滴)や薬品などが浸入し、筐体内に配されている各種機能回路などに悪影響を及ぼし、モニタ装置30としての正常な機能を維持することが困難になる場合がある。
このような状況で使用するときは、例えばビニールシートなどの防滴手段でモニタ装置30を覆って防滴処理を施して使用している。しかしながら、ビニールシートなどで覆うことにより、モニタ装置30が外気から遮断され、放熱スリットSの通気性が低下し、放熱性が著しく低下することになる。また、その都度ビニールシートを広げてモニタ装置を覆うのは、作業性の良いものではなかった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明はこのような問題点を解決するためになされたもので、電子機器筐体に形成される複数の放熱スリットに対応して形成された廂状の防滴部と、該防滴部に覆われて表裏を貫通している通気孔と、前記複数の放熱スリットに対応する位置の裏面側に突出し所定の放熱スリットに嵌入される嵌入片と、該嵌入片が嵌入される放熱スリットと異なる放熱スリットに係止される係止部を備え、前記嵌入片及び係止部により電子機器筐体の側面に脱着可能となるように防滴カバーを構成する。
また、上記防滴カバーは合成樹脂、例えばABS樹脂などで一体成形されている。

【作用】
放熱スリットの通気性を損なわずに防滴を実現することができ、防滴の必要がないときは、電子機器の筐体から容易に取り外すことが可能である。

【実施例】
以下本発明の防滴カバーの一実施例を説明する。
図1は本実施例の防滴カバーをモニタ装置に取付けた場合の外観を示す斜視図であり、図5と同一部分は同一符号を付して説明を省略する。この図で1は、図5に示したモニタ装置30の側面に形成されている放熱スリットSに、後で説明する係止部、及び嵌入片により取付けられている防滴カバーを示す。なお、防滴カバー1は図示されていない他方の側面に形成されている放熱スリットSにも同様にして取付けられている。
D、D、D・・・は放熱スリットSに対応する位置に設けられている通気孔、12、13、14、15、16は通気孔Dを覆うようになされている廂状に形成される防滴部である。

図2、図3は防滴カバー1を示す図であり、図2(a)は正面図、図2(b)は上面図、図2(c)(d)は側面図、図3(a)は裏面図、図3(b)はA−A’の断面図である。これらの図で、2、3は例えば防滴カバー1の両側の上辺部分に設けられている係止部を示し、その上端部分には係止片2a、2a、2a、2a、3a、3a、3a、3aが配されている。この係止部2、3は縦方向に対して弾性を有しており、例えば上方から押圧することにより、僅かに湾曲しながら下方に変位する様になされている。4、4、4、4は例えば防滴部14の裏面においてモニタ装置30の所定の放熱スリットSに嵌入するように突設されている嵌入片、5は例えば防滴部15の裏面において、嵌入片4が嵌入される放熱スリットSと異なる段に形成されている放熱スリットSに嵌入されるように突設されている嵌入片である。 これらの図に示した防滴カバー1は、例えばABSなどの合成樹脂により一体成形されている。

次に、図4(a)(b)(c)(d)に示す断面図にしたがい防滴カバー1をモニタ装置30に取付ける場合について説明する。この図に示される防滴カバー1も、図3に示したA−A’の断面で示されている。
まず同図(a)に示されているように、モニタ装置30の放熱スリットSが配されている側面に防滴カバー1を配し、本実施例の場合は一点鎖線の矢印で示されているように、嵌入片4、5を放熱スリットS3 、S4 に嵌入しその下縁に嵌合するようにする。嵌入片4、5を放熱スリットS3 、S4 に嵌入すると同図(b)に示されているように、係止片3a(2a)が放熱スリットS1 の上縁外側部分に当接するようになる。ここで、同図(c)に示されているように、係止部3(2)を矢印P方向に押圧して下方に変位させることにより、係止片3a(2a)が放熱スリットS1 を通過するようになり、押圧を解除すると、同図(d)に示されているように、上縁内側部分に係止されるようになる。
すなわち、嵌入片4、5が放熱スリットS3 、S4 の下縁、係止片3a(2a)が放熱スリットS1 の上縁に係止されることにより、防滴カバー1がモニタ装置30の側面に固定されるようになる。

このようにして防滴カバー1を取付けることにより、防滴部12〜16が例えば破線で示されているような雨や薬品などの水滴の、上方向及び横方向からの浸入を防止することができ、さらにモニタ装置30内で発生した熱(集積回路基盤、CRTなど)は、太線矢印で示されているように放熱スリットS1 〜S5 から、通気孔Dを介して外部に放出され、従来とほぼ同等の放熱効果を上げることができる。

また、防滴カバー1をモニタ装置30から取り外す際は、先述した順序とは逆に、同図(d)に示されている状態から係止部3(2)を押圧することにより、係止片3a(2a)の係止を解除し、その時点で防滴カバー1を上方に変移させることによって、嵌入片4、5の嵌合が外れ防滴カバー1を取り外すことができる。
したがって、本発明の防滴カバー1はモニタ装置30の放熱スリットSを利用して容易に取付け/取外しを行なうことができるので、例えば屋内や好天時の屋外収録には従来どおりにモニタ装置を設置し、例えば雨天の屋外収録を行なうときや、医療機器として用いるときにのみモニタ装置30に取付け、放熱スリットSから水滴や薬品の浸入を防ぎつつ、従来とほぼ同等の放熱効果を得ることができるようになる。

なお、本実施例の防滴カバー1は垂直方向に形成されている放熱スリットSに取り付ける例を説明したが、例えばモニタ装置30の側面に水平方向に形成されてる放熱スリットに取り付ける場合は、係止部2、3、及び嵌入片4、5を放熱スリットに対応させ水平に形成することにより、本実施例の場合と同様にしてモニタ装置30に取付け/取外しを行なうことができるようになる。

【発明の効果】
以上、説明したように本発明の防滴カバーは、モニタ装置を例えば雨天の屋外収録を行なう場合や、医療機器として用いる場合に、雨などの水滴や薬品がモニタ装置側面などに形成されている放熱スリットから浸入することを防止しすることができ、さらに、水滴や薬品の浸入を防止する廂状の防滴部に覆われている通気孔により、放熱スリットの通気性を損なうことなくモニタ装置を使用することが可能である。
また、本発明の防滴カバーは、通常のモニタ装置の放熱スリットに対して取り付け/取り外しを、容易に行なうことができるので、例えば屋外などで付着した汚れや、薬品などを簡単に洗い落とすことができるという利点がある。
