Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a terminal cover structure for instruments, and more particularly to a cover structure for protecting external connection terminal fittings arranged in a plurality of rows in a case of instruments such as a controller, and an improvement of a terminal cover used for the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a terminal structure of instruments, a plurality of terminal fittings are arranged outward on the bottom of a box-shaped case, and a contact spring forming a part of these is protruded inside the case, and is disposed inside the case. It is well known that a circuit board forming an electronic circuit of an instrument is brought into contact with the contact springs of the terminal fittings at the inner bottom of the case so as to make electrical contact, for example, a plug-in construction.
[0003]
Along with the diversification or abundance of functions mounted on instruments, a plurality of circuit boards are now arranged in a case so as to be overlapped at a predetermined interval in a case. At the bottom, a plurality of terminal rows composed of a plurality of terminal fittings are arranged in a plurality of rows.
[0004]
In addition, it is common practice to cover the terminal rows with an insulating terminal cover made of synthetic resin or the like so that an operator does not touch the terminal fittings at the bottom of the case or a jig or the like comes in contact with the terminal fittings, so that an unexpected situation does not occur.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the instruments are actually used, the cables are connected to the terminal fittings at the bottom of the case and lead out.For example, when the instruments are stacked and arranged so that the terminal rows of the instruments are close to each other, Cases where the lower instruments are placed on the lower instruments obstruct the cables led out from the lower terminal row of the upper instruments, preventing the cables from being drawn out properly or causing the instruments to be placed diagonally. Tends to occur.
[0006]
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0012]
FIG. 1 is a schematic exploded perspective view showing a first configuration example of a terminal cover structure of instruments according to the present invention.
In FIG. 1, a case 1 of instruments is formed from a synthetic resin into a box shape, and a terminal plate 3 formed from a synthetic resin into, for example, a block shape is fitted so as to cover the bottom thereof.
[0013]
The case 1 and the terminal plate 3 can be formed integrally, and the terminal plate 3 substantially constitutes a part of the case 1 irrespective of whether it is integral or separate.
A plurality of conductive terminal fittings 5 are fitted into the terminal plate 3 from the outside. As shown in FIG. 2, for example, six horizontal and vertical (or vertical and horizontal) two terminal fitting rows A are formed. . A terminal screw 7 having a square seat is screwed into each of the terminal fittings 5.
[0014]
Each of the terminal fittings 5 has a configuration as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 and all have the same shape.
That is, each terminal fitting 5 includes an intermediate piece 9, a first open piece 11 extending at an acute angle from the upper end of the intermediate piece 9, and a second open piece extending at an obtuse angle from the lower end of the intermediate piece 9 so as to face the intermediate piece 9. A piece 13 is integrally formed, and the intermediate piece 9 is formed in a substantially U-shape from a highly elastic conductive plate so that the intermediate piece 9 is oblique to the first and second open pieces 11 and 13.
[0015]
An auxiliary plate 15, which is also formed of a conductive material somewhat thicker than that of the intermediate piece 9, the first and second open pieces 11, 13, is also in contact with the inside of the intermediate piece 9 and the first and second open pieces 11, 13. Mechanically reinforced.
[0016]
The auxiliary plate 15 is not indispensable, and is unnecessary if the intermediate piece 9 and the first and second open pieces 11 and 13 are formed to be somewhat thicker. However, in the present invention, the auxiliary plate 15 and / or the terminal screw 7 are included for convenience. The terminal fitting 5 is used.
Reference numerals 17a and 17b in the figure are locking pieces cut and raised outward so as to protrude from the first and second opening pieces 11 and 13.
[0017]
The distal end side of the first open piece 11 of the terminal fitting 5 is an elongated spring portion 19 bent so as to be folded inward, and this distal end is bent slightly in the shape of a letter toward the first open piece 11. It faces the second opening piece 13 and contacts an electrode (not shown) on the circuit board 21 described later.
[0018]
The terminal plate 3 is divided into, for example, six pieces in the horizontal direction by a vertical partition plate 23 extending in the vertical direction, and is divided into two upper and lower stages by a horizontal partition plate 25 that divides the vertical partition plate 23 up and down. The holding portion 27 of the terminal fitting 5 described above is formed by the vertical and horizontal partition plates 23 and 25. Here, the vertical direction and the horizontal direction are for the sake of convenience, and the vertical and horizontal directions may be reversed.
[0019]
In each of the holding portions 27, the vertical partition plate 23 is opposed to the intermediate piece 9 of the terminal fitting 5, and the guide portion 29 conforming to the U-shape formed by the first and second open pieces 11 and 13. To facilitate the insertion of the terminal fittings 5 from the outside of the terminal plate 3, secure stable holding, and form the above-described row of terminal fittings.
[0020]
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, external partition pieces 31 are provided outside the terminal plate 3 so as to extend from the vertical partition plate 23, and a space between the terminal fittings 5 in the horizontal direction in the figure is provided. It is partitioned.
[0021]
In each holding portion 27 of the terminal plate 3, as shown in FIG. 3, locking step portions 33 a and 33 b are formed on the inner wall of the terminal plate 3 and the horizontal partition plate 25, and the engagement of the terminal fittings 5 stored therein is performed. The stop pieces 17a and 17b are locked to restrict the outward movement.
[0022]
When the first and second opening pieces 11 and 13 are bent so as to narrow them, the locking state of the locking step portions 33a and 33b and the locking pieces 17a and 17b is released, and the terminal fitting 5 is removed. It can be removed.
[0023]
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the circuit board 21 is inserted into the vertical partition plate 23 at a portion between the first and second open pieces 11 and 13 of the terminal fitting 5, and an insertion groove for receiving the circuit board 21. 35 are formed.
[0024]
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the terminal fitting 5 into which the terminal screw 7 with a square seat is screwed is inserted along the guide part 29 into each holding part 27 from outside the terminal plate 3, The retaining pieces 17a, 17b are retained on the terminal plate 3 so as to be retained by the retaining stepped portions 33a, 33b. As shown in FIG. 3, the core wire of the cable 37 is tightened and fixed with the terminal screw 7 having a square seat. Used.
[0025]
Reference numeral 37a in FIG. 3 denotes a protection portion that protects a core portion protruding from the insulating coating of the cable 37, and is not essential.
[0026]
Each terminal fitting 5 is inserted into each holding portion 27 at the same position, and the intermediate piece 9 faces obliquely upward and the intermediate piece 9 projects from the terminal plate 3 main body. Between the adjacent terminal fittings 5, the second open piece 13 and the first open piece 11 are arranged in two upper and lower stages so as to face each other.
[0027]
Moreover, the terminal fittings 5 located in the lower row in the figure are arranged so as to be shifted toward the terminal plate 3, that is, the inside of the case 1 with respect to the terminal fittings 5 in the upper row, as shown in FIG. 1.
[0028]
In each terminal plate 3, holding pieces 39 having substantially the same shape as the outer partition piece 31 protrude from both ends in the arrangement direction of the terminal fittings 5 so as to face each other. As shown in FIG. 1, engagement holes 43 with which the terminal covers 41 are engaged are formed so as to be aligned with each other and penetrate therethrough.
[0029]
As shown in FIGS. 6 to 11, the terminal cover 41 has a rectangular plate-shaped cover body 45 made of, for example, a synthetic resin, a side portion 47 erected from the opposite short side of the cover body 45, and one long side. It is formed having a plurality of notches 49 extending from the side in the same direction as the side portion 47.
[0030]
The notch pieces 49 of the terminal cover 41 correspond to the respective terminal fittings 5 of the terminal fitting row A arranged on each terminal plate 3 and are formed so as to be aligned with the areas overlapping with these, as shown in FIG. In addition, when the terminal cover 41 is put on the terminal plate 3, the terminal cover 41 protrudes long so as to cover a region corresponding to each of the terminal fittings 5.
[0031]
Moreover, the notch pieces 49 are slits 51 into which the outer partition plate 31 protruding from the terminal plate 3 fits, and are separated by the slits 51 extending in an L-shape to the cover main body 45, and are connected to each other in the vicinity of the L-shaped bent portion. It is integrally connected to the cover body 45 via 53.
[0032]
In the terminal cover 41, the side portions 47 located on both sides of the notch piece 49 are thinly formed at the front ends with a step so as to be fitted between both holding pieces 39 formed on the terminal plate 3. An engagement protrusion 55 that fits into the engagement hole 43 of each of the holding pieces 39 projects outward from the thin portion 47a.
[0033]
On the back side of the cover main body 45, vertical and horizontal reinforcing pieces 57a and 57b are integrally formed at positions aligned with the vertical partition plate 23 and the horizontal partition plate 25 of the terminal plate 3 to secure the strength of the terminal cover 41. .
[0034]
As shown in FIG. 12, when the connecting portion 53 of the terminal cover 41 and the cover body 45 is broken by lifting the protruding tip of the notch piece 49, the notch piece 49 is separated and removed from the cover body 45. As shown in FIG. 13, a notch 59 is formed at a position where the notch piece 49 is located. As the notch, a jig such as a manual operation or a tatter can be used.
[0035]
In such a terminal cover 41, the thin portion 47 a formed at the tip of the side portion 47 is fitted between the two holding pieces 39 of the terminal plate 3, and the engaging projection 55 of the side portion 47 is fitted to the engaging hole 43 of the holding piece 39. When it is fitted, the end of the outer partition piece 31 fits into the slit 51 and is fixed to the terminal plate 3 while covering the terminal fitting 5, while the notch 49 is cut out before and after fixing to the terminal plate 3. Accordingly, the area corresponding to the terminal fittings 5 located in the upper row in the figure is not covered (see FIGS. 3, 15, and 16).
[0036]
The terminal cover 41 can be removed from the terminal plate 3 by narrowing the side portion 47 of the terminal cover 41 or widening the space between the two holding pieces 39 of the terminal plate 3.
[0037]
Next, an example of use of the terminal cover structure according to the first configuration of the present invention will be described.
First, as shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, a state in which two instrument cases 1 are inserted from the front side of the instrument panel 61, and a flange (not shown) of the case 1 is locked on the front side of the panel 61. Then, the holding members 63 slidably attached to both side surfaces of the case 1 are moved forward to the back side of the panel 61 to be pressed against each other and are locked in the locking grooves 65 of the case 1 so that the two cases 1 are vertically moved. The instrument panel 61 is held in close contact with the instrument panel 61.
[0038]
FIGS. 1 and 14 described above show a configuration in which one case 1 is held by a panel 61 with a holding member 63 in the vertical direction.
[0039]
The cable 37 is connected to the terminal plate 3 of the upper case 1 and the terminal cover 41 is fitted, and the cable 37 is connected to the lower case 1 and the terminal cover 41 in which the notch 49 is cut out in advance. Fit on terminal board 3. The fitting of the terminal cover 41 to the terminal plate 3 is optional before and after the case 1 is sandwiched by the panel 61.
[0040]
Then, as shown in FIG. 17, even if the cable 37 connected to the terminal fittings 5 of the lower terminal fitting row is drawn obliquely downward on the terminal plate 3 of the upper case 1, The area corresponding to the terminal fittings 5 in the terminal fitting row is not covered, so that the cable 37 extending from the terminal plate 3 of the upper case 1 does not hinder the terminal cover 41 of the lower case 1 and the terminal plate 3 of the upper case 1 Is also protected by the terminal cover 41 fitted therein.
[0041]
In the area corresponding to the terminal fittings 5 of the upper terminal fitting row in the lower case 1, the cover is removed, but the terminal cover 41 fitted to the upper case 1 and the lower case, and the terminal cover fitted to the lower case. 41 provides protection.
[0042]
Such a terminal cover structure according to the first configuration of the present invention includes a terminal plate 3 fixed to a case 1 of instruments and a plurality of terminal fittings arranged on the terminal plate 3 in a plurality of rows outward. And a terminal cover 41 which is detachably mounted on the terminal plate so as to cover each of the terminal fittings 5. The terminal cover 41 has an external partition piece projecting from the terminal plate so as to partition between the terminal fittings. Are provided, a notch piece 49 formed in the L-shape and partially connected with the slit 51 is provided, and this notch piece 49 is provided for each terminal fitting 5 region of the upper terminal fitting row. Therefore, the following effects can be obtained.
[0043]
That is, in the configuration in which the case 1 is fixed to the panel 61 by itself, as shown in FIG. 14, if the terminal cover 41 is used with the notch piece 49 attached, the terminal fitting 5 is protected as in the related art. This makes it possible to avoid a situation in which the worker carelessly touches the terminal fitting 5 or the falling object comes into contact with the terminal fitting 5 to make the operation unstable or hinder the safety.
[0044]
In a configuration in which the two cases 1 are sandwiched between the instrument panels 61 in a vertically close state, the terminal plate 3 of the upper case 1 is protected by the terminal cover 41 as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17. On the other hand, in the lower case 1, if the notch piece 49 of the terminal cover 41 is cut out before and after the lower case 1, the area corresponding to the upper row of terminal fittings 5 in the lower case 1 is not covered, and the upper case 1 is not covered. The terminal cover 41 of the terminal plate 3 of the lower case 1 does not hinder the cable 37 extending from the terminal plate 3 of the case 1, and the terminal plate 3 of the lower case 1 is also protected by the terminal cover 41.
[0045]
Moreover, since the notch piece 49 is formed in the terminal cover 41 in a region corresponding to each of the terminal fittings 5, the cover can be individually and accurately removed for each of the target terminal fittings 5 and the notch is provided. It will be easier.
[0046]
Furthermore, since the terminal cover 41 is cut in a U-shape and has the notch piece 49 partially supported by the terminal cover 41 itself, it is possible to easily remove the cover easily for each target terminal fitting 5. Becomes possible.
[0047]
Note that the connection configuration of the notch piece 49 formed in a state of being partially connected to the terminal cover 41 is arbitrary, and can be formed, for example, to be cantilevered.
[0048]
Next, a terminal cover structure as a second configuration according to the present invention will be described.
In this configuration, as shown in FIG. 18, each of the opposite holding pieces 39 of the terminal plate 3 is locked at a position between the engaging holes 43 formed therein and between the rows of the upper and lower terminal fittings 5. While the holes 67 are formed so as to be aligned and penetrated, a notch 69 having a length corresponding to the space between the holding pieces 39 and in which the external partition piece 31 fits is provided. Are combined with the terminal cover piece 73 protruding therefrom.
[0049]
Then, as shown in FIGS. 18 to 20, the tip of the terminal cover piece 73 is inserted between the holding pieces 39 so that the cut 69 is fitted into the outer partition piece 31, and the locking projection 71 is fitted into the locking hole 67. The terminal cover pieces 73 are obliquely arranged on the terminal fittings 5 in the lower row and rotatably supported in a flap shape.
[0050]
Therefore, the cables 37 connected to the upper row of terminal fittings 5 are easily led out, and the cables 37 connected to the upper row of terminal fittings 5 are less likely to come into contact with the lower row of terminal fittings 5, and the upper row of terminals Insulation can be ensured without covering the cable 37 connected to the metal fitting 5 with the protective portion 37a.
[0051]
Further, even if a plurality of cables 37 are connected to the lower row of terminal fittings 5 for crossover wiring, they do not come into contact with or interfere with the upper row of terminal fittings 5, and the usability is improved.
Moreover, since the terminal cover piece 73 is rotatably supported in a flap shape, the cable 37 can be connected without removing the terminal cover piece 73 one by one, thereby improving workability.
[0052]
Note that, in the present invention, the first configuration and the second configuration can be implemented separately or together.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the shape and structure of the case 1 and the terminal plate 3 are arbitrary, and may be any configuration that can hold and store the terminal fitting 5 described above.
[0053]

A terminal cover that covers the terminal plate and covers the terminal plate, and the terminal plate has projecting external partitioning pieces for partitioning between terminal fittings, and the terminal cover has a slit into which an end of the external partitioning plate fits. Is provided so that it can be cut out for each region corresponding to the terminal fittings in the end row of the terminal fitting rows, so that the insulating cover function can be exerted on the terminal rows of the upper instruments, and the lower Even if the same terminal cover is used for the terminal row of instruments, it does not hinder the cable led out from the terminal row of the upper instruments, making it easier to take out the cable and ensuring insulation protection. There is also a common terminal cover Form the cost can be reduced by.
In addition, since the terminal cover is formed so as to be able to be cut out for each area corresponding to each terminal fitting, a notch can be formed corresponding to any terminal fitting, and in addition to the above-described effects, further protection is provided. The effect can be expected.
Furthermore, in the first configuration, the terminal cover is provided with notches separated by the slits and integrally supported by the terminal plate body for each region corresponding to the individual terminal fittings. The formation of the part is further simplified.
The second configuration according to the present invention is composed of a plurality of terminal fittings attached outward to a terminal board of instruments and arranged in a vertical or horizontal direction, and is covered with the terminal board. ; and a terminal cover piece, its terminal plate is projected outside partition piece for partitioning between the terminal fitting is provided with a notch that they outside partition piece fits at its terminal cover piece, inserted between them the metal terminal sequence In this way, both ends of the terminal cover piece are rotatably supported on the terminal plate, so that the cables connected to the upper row of terminal fittings can be easily derived and connected to the upper row of terminal fittings. It is difficult for the connected cable to contact the terminal fittings 5 in the lower row.
Further, the third configuration according to the present invention covers a plurality of terminal fittings which are attached to the terminal board of instruments outwardly and is arranged vertically and horizontally and vertically, and is covered with the terminal board. and a terminal cover of the instrument, its has a slit in which the edge of the outer partition piece projecting from the terminal plate fitted so as to partition between the terminal fittings, to be cut away in each region corresponding to each of these terminal fittings If the area corresponding to the terminal fitting is cut out, the cable can be connected with the terminal cover in place, and does not hinder the cable from another electronic device.
In the third configuration, if the terminal cover is configured to have cutout pieces separated by the slits and integrally supported by the terminal plate main body in each area corresponding to each terminal fitting , the cutout portion can be formed. Is further simplified.
