FES=S1−S2
【0063】
SA=S3−S4また、焦点誤差信号FESが0で保たれない場合、この焦点誤差信号FESを考慮して、球面収差信号SAは以下のようになる。
【0064】
SA=(S3−S4)−(S1−S2)×K (Kは定数である)

In general, in order to increase the recording density in an optical disk device, the wavelength of light used for recording and reproduction on an optical disk as a recording medium is shortened as much as possible, or the numerical aperture (NA) of an objective lens for converging light on the optical disk is increased. Need to be bigger.
[0003]
By the way, in order to shorten the wavelength of light, it is necessary to develop a semiconductor laser that generates laser light having a shorter wavelength. However, since it is not easy to develop such a semiconductor laser, the above-mentioned method of increasing the numerical aperture of the objective lens is usually employed to increase the recording density.
[0004]
On the other hand, in order to increase the numerical aperture of the objective lens, a method of increasing the diameter of the lens can be considered. Therefore, a method of using a solid immersion lens to effectively increase the numerical aperture of the objective lens without increasing the diameter of the objective lens has been studied.
