ここで、MPEG(moving picture coding experts group)デコーダ部50でMPEGデータであることを示すシーケンスヘッダの開始コードが検出されたか否かが判別される。
なお、トラック1は、CD−ROM XA(CD-ROM Extended Architecture)のMODE2,FORM1の仕様に準拠しており、トラック2以降はCD−ROM XA(CD-ROM Extended Architecture)のMODE2,FORM2の仕様に準拠するものとされている。
【0031】
TSP=プレイアイテムのスタートセクタの絶対時間+(セグメントプレイアイテム番号−1)×2秒 ・・・式(1)
【0050】
RT=LTN−FTN+1 ・・・式(2)
【0053】
TF=(TE−TS)/N ・・・式(4)
【0064】
TD=TC−TS ・・・式(5)
Mx=(TD/TF)+1 ・・・式(6)
【0065】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a compact disc playback device. Specifically, the number of tracks obtained from the first management information is compared with the number of entries obtained from the second management information, and if the number of entries is larger than the number of tracks and smaller than a predetermined number, The reproduction operation is performed based on the entry information obtained from the second management information, and in other cases, the reproduction operation is performed based on the track information obtained from the first management information. A different reproduction operation can be performed by the key operation of.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a compact disk as a signal recording medium, a compact disk (hereinafter referred to as "CD-DA") in which audio is recorded as recording information, and a compact disk in which information such as audio and still images are recorded and can be used interactively (Hereinafter, referred to as “CD-I”), a compact disc on which computer data is recorded (hereinafter, referred to as “CD-ROM”), and a compact disc on which audio and moving pictures are compressed and recorded (hereinafter, referred to as “Video-CD”) Are standardized.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, track information is recorded in the lead-in area of the compact disc. In the Video-CD version 1.1, entry information indicating the start position of moving image or audio data is recorded in a track on the outer peripheral side of the lead-in area. Be recorded. This entry information can be set to a maximum of “99” for one track and a maximum of “500” for one disk.
[0004]
Here, assuming that an operation key for performing a skip operation in a track unit based on track information and an operation key for performing a skip operation in an entry unit based on entry information are individually provided, the number of operation keys is It increases and the operation becomes complicated. Further, when reproducing a compact disc on which no entry information is recorded, an operation key for performing a skip operation in entry units becomes unnecessary.
[0005]
Therefore, the present invention provides a compact disk reproducing apparatus capable of efficiently performing different reproducing operations by sharing operation keys.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A compact disk reproducing apparatus according to the present invention reproduces a compact disk in which first management information is recorded in a lead-in area and second management information is recorded in a predetermined track. Signal reading unit for reading the read signal to generate a read signal, a signal processing unit for processing the read signal generated by the signal reading unit, an operation unit, and information obtained by processing the read signal by the signal processing unit. And a control unit for controlling a reproduction operation based on an operation signal from the operation unit. The control unit determines the number of tracks obtained from the first management information and the number of entries obtained from the second management information. If the number of entries is larger than the number of tracks and smaller than a predetermined number, the reproducing operation is performed based on the entry information obtained from the second management information. It is intended to perform a reproducing operation on the basis of the track information obtained from the first management information.
[0007]
When a predetermined operation is performed on the operation unit, the control unit moves the playback position in entry units if the number of entries is larger than the number of tracks and smaller than the predetermined number. In such a case, the playback position is moved in track units.
[0008]
According to the present invention, the number of tracks obtained from the first management information is compared with the number of entries obtained from the second management information, and when the number of entries is larger than the number of tracks and smaller than a predetermined number. For example, when a predetermined operation key is operated on the operation unit, the reproduction position is moved by a skip operation in entry units based on the entry information obtained from the second management information. In other cases, the reproduction position is moved by a skip operation on a track basis based on the track information obtained from the first management information.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a part of a configuration of a compact disc reproducing apparatus as a recording medium reproducing apparatus, which can reproduce a compact disc such as a CD-DA, a CD-I, a CD-ROM, and a Video-CD.

In FIG. 2, subcode Q controls (Q0 to Q3) indicate information for determining whether a recorded signal is audio or data, information for determining the number of audio channels, and information for determining whether emphasis is present. . Also, if the address (Q4 to Q7) is "(0001) Two ", The track number is indicated by TNO (Q8 to Q15).
[0019]
Here, for example, in a CD-DA in which audio of two channels is recorded, control = (00xx) Two It is said. Note that “x” indicates that the data is either “0” or “1”. The address is (0001) Two And TNO (Q8 to Q15) = (00) in the lead-in area. 16 , POINT (Q16 to Q23) = (A0) 16 PSEC (Q64 ~ Q71) is (00) 16 It is said.

As described above, the reproduction process is performed using the information stored in the

This PSD. A play list or a selection list recorded on a VCD has a play item number (hereinafter, referred to as “PIN (Play Item Number)”), and a reproduction position is set according to the value of the PIN as shown in FIG. Is done.
[0049]
In FIG. 9, when the PIN = "0 or 1", the value of the PIN is invalidated and the reproduction is not performed. When PIN = “2-99”, the value of the PIN indicates the track number, and the signal at the position of the track number indicated by the PIN is reproduced. When PIN = “100 to 599”, the value of “PIN-99” is set to ENTRES. The entry number recorded on the VCD is indicated, and the signal at the position indicated by the entry number based on the PIN is reproduced. When PIN = “1000-2979”, the value of “PIN-999” indicates the segment play item number, and the absolute time TSP of the segment play item number is calculated based on equation (1).
TSP = absolute time of start sector of play item + (segment play item number−1) × 2 seconds Expression (1)
[0050]
For example, if the PIN is “1002” and the absolute time of the start sector of the play item is “5
[0051]
It should be noted that the PSD. When the “FF key” or “REV key” is operated while the reproduction is being performed based on the VCD playlist, the PIN is changed and the reproduction position is changed.
[0052]
Next, the playback operation of the version 1.1 of the Video-CD will be described. When the first track number of the Video-CD obtained based on the TOC information is “FTN” and the last track number is “LTN”, the number of tracks RT obtained by Expression (2) is the video CD information part. ENTORIES. When the number of entries is smaller than the number of entries of the VCD and the number of entries is 99 or less, the entry number indicates the reproduction start position. In other cases, the track number indicates the reproduction start position.
RT = LTN-
[0053]
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, when the number of tracks RT is smaller than the number of entries and the number of entries is 99 or less, for example, when a skip operation is performed by a predetermined key operation of the
[0054]
As described above, when the number of entries is larger than the number of tracks and equal to or less than a predetermined number (“99” in this example), the reproduction position is moved in entry units. The reproduction position can be moved more finely than in the case where the reproduction position is changed.
[0055]
Furthermore, for example, the skip operation is automatically switched to the skip operation in track units or entry units according to the number of tracks and the number of entries. Therefore, when reproducing a compact disc in which entry information is recorded, the skip operation in entry units is performed. It is not necessary to provide an operation key for performing an operation separately from an operation key for performing a skip operation in a track unit, and different reproduction operations can be efficiently performed with a small number of operation keys.
[0056]
In the version 0.9 or 1.0 of the Video-CD, the reproduction operation is performed based on the TOC information as in the case of the CD-DA.
[0057]
As described above, using the subcode information recorded on the compact disk, the
[0058]
By the way, for example, in a compact disc (for example, CD-I / DV) in which a moving image or audio signal is compressed and recorded on one track and entry information or the like is not set, information of the track or entry is used. A skip operation or the like cannot be performed. For this reason, a section point is provided in one track, one track is divided into a plurality of pseudo tracks using this section point, and a skip operation or the like is performed using the pseudo track.
[0059]
In this case, as shown in FIG. 11, the recording time TW of the
[0060]
Here, assuming that the number of pseudo tracks is N, the pseudo track number is Mx (x = 1 to N), and the pseudo track start time is TMx (x = 1 to N), the pseudo track start time TMx, which is a dividing point, is given by the formula ( It is calculated based on 3).
[0061]
(Equation 1)
[0062]
According to this equation (3), one track,
[0063]
Further, the time TF per one pseudo track can be calculated by equation (4).
TF = (TE-TS) / N Equation (4)
[0064]
Further, assuming that the absolute time obtained from the subcode Q is TC, the pseudo absolute time TD can be calculated by the equation (5), and the pseudo track number Mx is calculated from the pseudo absolute time TD by the equation (6). be able to.
TD = TC-TS Equation (5)
Mx = (TD / TF) +1 Expression (6)
[0065]
Further, the relative time TR of the pseudo track is calculated as a remainder when the pseudo absolute time TD is divided by the time TF per pseudo track.
[0066]
The information such as the pseudo-track number and the pseudo-track start time is generated, for example, before the reproduction operation of the
[0067]
As described above, even when compressed moving image and audio data are recorded on one track, one track is divided into a plurality of pseudo tracks, and by using the information of the pseudo tracks, For example, when watching a movie or the like, it can be easily reproduced from a desired position. Further, at the time of the reproducing operation using the pseudo track, the displayed time is also displayed as the relative time corresponding to the pseudo track, so that the operability can be improved.
[0068]
In the above-described embodiment, the CD-DA, CD-I, CD-ROM, and VIDEO-CD are discriminated by the compact disc reproducing apparatus, and the reproducing process is performed according to the discriminated type. Needless to say, it is also possible to discriminate a compact disc and reproduce only a desired disc.
[0069]
The
[0070]
Further, in addition to dividing a track of a compact disc into a plurality of pseudo tracks, a track of another recording medium can be easily divided into a plurality of pseudo tracks in the same manner.
[0071]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the number of tracks obtained from the first management information is compared with the number of entries obtained from the second management information, and, for example, the number of entries is determined by the operation unit in response to a predetermined operation. If it is greater than and less than a predetermined number, the playback position is moved based on the entry information; otherwise, the playback position is moved based on the track information.
[0072]
As described above, when the number of entries is larger than the number of tracks and smaller than a predetermined number, the reproduction position is moved based on the entry information. Therefore, the reproduction position is more finely divided than the movement based on the track information. Can be moved.
[0073]
Further, for example, when reproducing a compact disc on which no entry information is recorded, an operation key for performing a skip operation in units of entries which is unnecessary is provided separately from an operation key for performing a skip operation in units of tracks. There is no need to perform different reproduction operations efficiently with fewer operation keys.
