2. Description of the Related Art An insulated bus duct generally has a plurality of insulated and covered plate-shaped electric conductors housed and held in a housing in parallel, and the connection is usually made using a connection unit. FIG. 3 is a partially cutaway view showing a state where the vertical bus duct and the horizontal bus duct are connected via a connection unit, and FIG. 4 is a right side view thereof. Connection unit 3
0 is an electrical conductor 51A arranged in parallel at the end of one of the insulated bus ducts (vertical bus duct 50A in FIG. 3) and an electrical conductor 51B arranged in parallel at the end of the other insulated bus duct (same horizontal bus duct 50B) and connected at right angles to each other. To achieve conduction. The connection units 30 are arranged on both sides of the parallel electric conductors 51A as shown in FIG.

The connecting unit 30 is generally formed in a size suitable for connecting insulating bus ducts linearly. For example, the height of the insulating plate 32 (the size in the vertical direction in FIG. 3), the length L1 from the left end to the vicinity of the connection bolt 34 hole penetrated to the center, and the length from the right end to the vicinity of the connection bolt 34 hole L2 is, for example, large enough to cover the electrical conductors 51B that are joined when connecting one insulated bus duct such as the horizontal bus ducts 50B. The lengths L1 and L2 of the insulating plate 32 are substantially equal. Therefore, when connecting the vertical bus duct 50A and the horizontal bus duct 50B using the connection unit 30,
One insulated bus duct (horizontal bus duct 50B in FIG. 3)
The entire electric conductor 51B is covered with the insulating plate 32, and secures a specified insulation distance between each phase of the parallel electric conductor 51B,
Electrical insulation can also be secured.

However, the lengths L1 and L2 of the insulating plate 32 are often smaller than the width L3 of the electric conductor, and the other insulating bus duct
The electric conductor 51A of the (vertical bus duct 50A) has an exposed portion 35 (hatched portion in FIG. 3) that is not covered with the insulating plate 32 and has a width of 20 to 50 mm.
Occurs to a degree. Exposed portion 35 of electric conductor 51A
Is insulated by air, but not enough,
Conventionally, an insulating tape is wrapped around the exposed portion 35 so that the electric conductor 51
A maintained electrical isolation between each phase. However, since the winding of the tape is a manual operation, it takes a considerable time to apply it to all of the plurality of electric conductors 51A, and there is a problem that the workability is poor.

Here, one of the insulated bus ducts
(Here, vertical bus duct 50A) Exposed part to electric conductor 51A
In order to prevent 35 from occurring, it is conceivable to increase only the length (here, L2) of the insulating plate 32 that covers the electric conductor 51A in accordance with the width L3. However, increasing the size of the insulating plate 32 not only requires extra material, but also such a connection unit can only be used when connecting a vertical bus duct and a horizontal bus duct, and the horizontal or vertical bus duct It cannot be used for linear connections that connect each other.

According to the present invention, an insulating attachment is attached to an insulating plate provided in a connection unit to extend the insulating plate.
The exposed portion of the electric conductor that is not covered with the insulating plate is covered with this attachment to secure electrical insulation between the phases of the parallel electric conductor. In particular, when connecting the vertical bus duct and the horizontal bus duct, even if a connection unit for linear connection is used, the insulating plate of the above unit is provided with the insulating attachment of the present invention to extend the insulating plate. Thus, the exposed portion generated in the electric conductor of one of the insulating bus ducts can be covered. Therefore, electrical insulation between the phases of the electric conductors arranged in parallel in both insulating bus ducts can be ensured. Further, the insulating attachment of the present invention is detachable from the insulating plate, and is extremely excellent in workability when forming the connection structure of the insulating bus duct.

[0009] The mounting portion of the insulating attachment of the present invention,
It is preferable that the shape be such that it can be easily attached to and detached from the insulating plate. Further, it is desirable that the mounting portions be shaped so as to be adapted to the shape of the mounting portion of the insulating plate and to engage with each other so that the mounting portions are not easily dropped after being mounted on the insulating plate. The blocking portion is formed in a size that can cover at least the exposed portion of the electric conductor.

As described above, according to the insulating attachment of the present invention, the insulating plate is extended by being attached to the insulating plate of the connection unit, and the exposed portion of the electric conductor that is not covered by the insulating plate is covered. This provides an excellent effect that electrical insulation between the phases of the parallel electric conductors can be ensured. In particular, the insulating attachment of the present invention can be easily attached to the insulating plate, and is excellent in workability in assembling the connection structure of the insulating bus duct. Further, since the size of the insulating plate itself does not need to be changed by using the insulating attachment of the present invention, the connection unit used for the linear connection can be shared for the vertical connection between the vertical bus duct and the horizontal bus duct.
