【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、歯面清掃用のハン
ドピースに着脱自在に装着し、その先端部より歯面清掃
用の粉末（パウダー）をエアー及び水と混合して噴射す
る歯面清掃用のノズルチップに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】図２は、本発明によるノズルチップが着
脱自在に装着されて使用される歯面清掃用ハンドピース
の一例を説明するための概略全体斜視図で、図中、１０
はノズルチップ、２０はハンドピース部、３０は該ハン
ドピース部２０にカートリッジ式に着脱自在に装着され
た歯面清掃用粉末（パウダー）収納タンク、４０はハン
ドピース部２０にエアーと水を供給するインスツルメン
トホースで、ノズルチップ１０は、例えば、その先端部
を拡大して示すように、パウダーが混入されたエアーＡ
を噴射するためのノズルを形成する内管１１と、該内管
１１と同心の外管１２との２重管からなり、図示しない
周知のフットスイッチを操作して、該内管１１から噴射
されるパウダーを含んだエアーＡと該内管１１と外管１
２との隙間から噴射される水Ａとを混合して噴射して、
歯面を清掃する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】而して、上記従来の歯
面清掃用ノズルチップの吐出範囲はφ２ｍｍ程度で、歯
面のみの清掃に使用するのであるのならこれでも十分で
あるが、歯と歯の隣接部等の細い部位に使用する場合は
ねらいがつけにくく、また、パウダーも目的とする部位
にうまく入り込まない等の問題があった。
【０００４】本発明は、上述のごとき実情に鑑みてなさ
れたもので、パウダー噴射ノズルの径を細くして細かい
部位に対しても効果的に清掃することのできる歯面清掃
用のノズルチップを提供することを目的としてなされた
ものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、エアー回路と
水回路とを有するとともに、前記エアー回路中に歯面清
掃用の粉末（パウダー）を収容するパウダータンクを着
脱自在に有する歯面清掃ハンドピースに着脱自在に装着
されて使用されるノズルチップであって、前記ハンドピ
ース内の前記エアー回路と水回路を共に開いて前記ノズ
ルチップの先端より前記パウダーを含んだエアーと水と
からなるスプレーを噴射して歯面を清掃する歯面清掃ハ
ンドピース用のノズルチップにおいて、前記ノズルチッ
プは、前記エアーを噴射する内管と、該内管との間に空
隙と作り該空隙より前記水を噴射する外管との２重管よ
り成り、先端部において、前記内管は前記外管より前方
に延出し、かつ該内管は、先端が狭窄孔に形成され、か
つ前記外管より延出した周面に開口が形成されているこ
とを特徴としたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】図１は、図２に示したような歯面
清掃用ハンドピース２０に装着して使用して好適なノズ
ルチップ１０の全体斜視図で、該ノズルチップ１０は、
図２に示したノズルチップ１０と同様にして使用するも
のであるが、本発明においては、内管１１の先端部と外
管１２の先端部との距離Ｌが長く構成されており、これ
により、ノズルチップ１０の先端部が細径に構成可能と
され、この細径構成により、歯間等の細い部分に対して
も入り込むことができ、効果的にパウダーを当てること
ができる。
【０００８】また、内管１１の先端部は、狭窄開口１１
ａが設けられるとともに、延出周辺部に開口１１ｂが設
けられており、狭窄開口１１ａでパウダーが加速され
て、より歯面を効果的に清掃可能とするとともに、該内
管１１の内側に流体抵抗を発生させ、周辺部開口（横
穴）１１ｂからもパウダーを噴射するようにすることに
より、前記内管１１を歯間部等に入れ込んで前記横穴１
１ｂからも噴射させることにより、従来のノズルチップ
では、パウダーを当てにくい部分にまでパウダーを当て
ることができる。

【発明の効果】以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明
によると、歯面清掃用のノズルチップを内管と外管とか
らなる２重管構造とし、ノズルチップの先端において、
内側にあるパウダー・エアーが通る内管と外管である水
が通る外管との長さの差を大きくとることで、ノズルチ
ップの先端部において細径である内管を前記外管より長
く延出するようにしたので、該内管の先端をより細かい
部分に入り込ませてパウダーを当てることができる。ま
た、パウダー・エアーが通る細径の内管の先端部外壁外
周上に数箇所穴（横穴）を空け、歯間部等の狭い箇所に
該内管を入れ込んで前記横穴よりパウダーを噴射させる
ことにより、通常、パウダーを当てにくい部分にまでパ
