【産業上の利用分野】本発明は版胴のギャップに版尻を
押し込む版挿入装置に関する。

【従来の技術】図4にオフセット印刷機における従来
の、版装着時版尻を版胴のギャップ内に挿入する装置を
示す。図4で、1は規定の距離を隔てた位置にて、両端
部分が折り曲げられた版で厚さ0.2〜0.3mmのア
ルミ又は鉄等の金属を素材としている。1aと1bはこ
れら折り曲げられた両端部分即ちくわえ側とくわえ尻側
(版尻のこと)、2は版胴、2aと2bは版胴のくわえ
部とくわえ尻部、3は版胴のギャップ、3aはギャップ
3の一方の縁、3bは一方の縁3aの正転側にある他方
の縁、3cはギャップ3の中央付近の位置、4は版胴の
締付装置のテンションバー、5はテンションバーの溝で
版尻1bが挿入される。
【0003】版胴2に版1を装着するには、図5(a)
に示すように版装着位置に版胴2のギャップ3が停止す
ると、まず版のくわえ側1aをギャップ3を通して版胴
のくわえ部2aに引掛ける。ついで版押えローラ6を版
1を介して版胴2に押付けながら版胴2に巻付け約1正
回転して、ギャップ3が版装着位置付近に来ると、版胴
2を停止する。次にテンションバー4を弛め位置にまわ
すと、溝5がギャップ3方向に向くので、ギャップ3の

わえ側2a方向に、テンションバー4にて回し図5
(c)に示すように版を固定する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前述のような従来の版
の挿入装置では版尻の先端がギャップのほぼ中央付近に
くるように版尻を曲げておけばギャップ間隔が(約5m
m程度)と広い場合は版尻挿入失敗などの問題が起きな
いが、狭くした場合(約2mm以下)、版尻の全幅(版
胴の軸方向)を同時にギャップ内に挿入しようとする
と、版の幅方向にうねりがあるため、また版尻先端が若
干浮き上るので、版尻先端がギャップの中に入らない。
入らないのはギャップを超えて版胴のくわえ部の円周面
(以下表面)又は版胴のくわえ部の先端に、版尻先端が
接触するためである。
【0005】本発明は狭いギャップでも確実に版尻をギ
ャップ内に挿入し得る版挿入装置を提案することを目的
とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記の目的を達成するた
めの本発明の構成は、版胴の表面に接触する版尻の先端
部を、幅方向の一側に偏位した位置で押圧する端部押圧
プッシャを設けると共に、該端部押圧プッシャに並列し
て、前記先端部がある程度の幅ギャップに入った後、前
記先端部を中央付近で押圧する中間部押圧プッシャを設
けたことを特徴とする。

【作用】そして本発明は上記の手段により版を版胴に巻
き付けて行き版尻先端がギャップの手前(0〜5mm)
に来ると幅方向の一側に偏位した端部押圧プッシャが動
いて版尻先端を押圧し、版尻先端は版胴の表面を滑り同
端部からギャップに入って行き、ある程度の幅、前記先
端がギャップに入ったのち順次中間部押圧プッシャが動
いて版尻の中央部付近を押えるので版尻先端の全幅がギ
ャップ内に入り、版尻先端の全幅がギャップ内に入った
のち再度版胴をゆっくり正転し版押えローラあるいは、
当接するブランケット胴にて均一に版尻をギャップを通
してテンションバーの溝に挿入する。

【実施例】本発明による版挿入装置を図1に、版尻挿入
順序を図2に示す。図1で図4と同一記号は同じ部材を
示す。即ち1は版、1aは版のくわえ側、1bは版尻、
2は版胴、2aはくわえ部、3はギャップ、4はテンシ
ョンバー、5はテンションバーの溝、6は版押えローラ
である。尚3bはギャップ3の一方の縁3aの手前にあ
る他方の縁を示す。
【0009】版装着位置に停止しているギャップ3より
版のくわえ側1aを版胴のくわえ部2aに引掛け、版押
えローラ6を版1を介して版胴2に押付けると、版胴2
を正回転し、版1を版胴2に巻付けて行き版尻1bの先
端部11が版胴2の表面に触れる位置付近に来た時版尻
先端部11がギャップ3の縁3bの手前(0〜5mm手
前)に来るように版1が図3の如く折り曲げられてい
る。
【0010】次に版胴2の軸方向に平行で、一対のフレ
ーム(図示せず)の間に固設された軸12の平坦面12
aに端部押圧プッシャ13と中間部押圧プッシャ14が
設けられている。端部押圧プッシャ13は版尻1bのい
づれか一方の端部11eを押し、中間部押圧プッシャ1
4は版尻1bの中央付近15を押す。図1ではプッシャ
13,14は版尻1bを押えるコロ16とエアシリンダ
17より構成される直動型プッシャとなっているが、こ
れ以外の回動あるいは揺動型プッシャも適用出来る。図
2(a)に示すように版尻先端部11が版胴2の表面に
タッチする位置に来た時、端部押圧プッシャ13は端部
11eを押すので版尻先端部11は版胴2の表面をすべ
り、端部11eからギャップ3の中に入っていく。ある
程度の幅先端部11がギャップ3内に入った時図2
(b)のように、版尻1bの中央付近15を中間部押圧
プッシャ14にて押えるので版尻1bがすべてギャップ
3内に入る。入ると版胴2をゆっくり正回転しつつ版押
えローラ6あるいは当接しているブランケット胴(図示
せず)にて均一に版尻1bをギャップ3を通して、テン
ションバー4の溝5に挿入する。ついで版胴の版締装置
は(図示せず)のテンションバーを締付位置にまわし図
2(c)に示すように版のくわえ側1aに版尻1bを重
ねてテンションバー4にて押付け固定する。尚版締装置
(テンションバー4)は図2にこだわらない。又版胴1
が軸方向に長くなりそれにつれて版の幅が広くなった場
合、版胴の中央付近に設けたプッシャの数は複数個設け
ても構わない。この場合プッシャは最初に版尻を入れた
側から順に作動するのが好ましい。

【発明の効果】上述したように本発明によるときは版胴
の表面に接触する版尻の先端部を、幅方向の一側に偏位
した位置で押圧する端部押圧プッシャを設けたものであ
るから端部押圧プッシャは先づ版尻先端の端部を押すの
で版尻先端の端部は狭いギャップでも容易に入ることが
でき、而も端部押圧プッシャに並列して順次版尻の先端
部を押圧する中間部押圧プッシャを設けたものであるか
ら中間部押圧プッシャは端部がギャップに挿入された版
尻先端の中間部を押すので狭いギャップでも版尻の先端
が浮き上ることなく版尻全体がギャップ内に円滑に挿入
