るドレンパイプの風防ダンパーに関する。 【0002】 【従来の技術】従来、東日本の積雪地方で多く採用され
ている無落雪屋根方式の建物は、融雪水をドレンパイプ
を利用して排水桝等に流下処理している。そのため、寒
冷期には、ドレンパイプの融雪水は、夜間の冷気によっ
て凍結し融雪水の流下が円滑に行われないことがあっ
た。そのため、実開昭58−76670号公報の如くド
レンパイプの排出口下端にドレンヒーターを設けて凍結
を防止することが公知となっている。しかし、ドレンパ
イプが直管の場合は問題ないが、排水桝が離れている場
合にはエルボ管により直角方向に流下させるので、図6
に示すように、先端にドレンヒーターaを設けても冷気
が多量に流入するため、直線部分やエルボ部分bに滞留
した水滴が凍結して氷cとなって増大し、ドレンパイプd

ボ部分が凍結することを防止するドレンパイプの風防ダ

レンパイプの風防ダンパーは、L字状に形成された先端
にドレンヒーターを設けたドレンパイプにおいて、該ド
レンヒーターの排水桝側には、ドレンヒーターの内部を
遮断する風防ダンパーが設けられ、該風防ダンパーは、
ドレンヒーターの管径の上端から1/3の個所を横断す
る回転軸を設け、該回転軸の上方空間を風防板で塞ぎ、
一方、前記回転軸を中心に蝶番により排出口側方向のみ
に回転し、ドレンヒーターと間に微小隙間を有する円弧
枠を設け、該円弧枠に風防板を張った風防カバーとし、
前記回転軸の下方空間2/3を塞ぐものである。 【0005】 【実施例】以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説
明する。図1に示すように、建物1の外壁2に沿って取
付金具3によりドレンパイプ4を並設固定し、該ドレン
パイプ4の上部は無落雪屋根のドレン排水口5に接続さ
れ、ドレンパイプ4の下部はエルボ管6により直角方向
に曲げられ、地面に掘削された排水桝7の上方に位置す
ると共に、ドレンパイプ4のL字状に形成された先端に
はドレンヒーター8が設けられ、該ドレンヒーター8の
排水桝7側の内部には、ドレンヒーター8を遮断する風
防ダンパー9が設けられる。 【0006】前記ドレンヒーター8は、図2に示すよう
に、外側をステンレスカバー10により補強したプラス
チック管11の内側にヒーター等の発熱体12を敷設
し、その内側をステンレス管13により塞いだ構造から
なる。また、前記風防ダンパー9は、図3に示すよう
に、ドレンヒーター8の管径の上端から1/3の個所を
横断する回転軸14を設け、該回転軸14の上方空間を
風防板15で塞ぎ、一方、回転軸14を中心に蝶番16
により排出口側方向のみに回転し、前記ステンレス管1
3と間に微小隙間、例えば2〜3mmの隙間を有する円弧
枠17を設け、該円弧枠17に風防板15を張った風防
カバー18とし、回転軸14の下方空間2/3を塞ぐも
のである。なお、前記風防板15は、ステンレス等の金
属板やプラスチックの合成樹脂板であるが、強風を塞ぐ
寸法のメッシュ(網目)であれば金属製の金網としても
良いし、プラスチック製の合成樹脂ネットとしても良
い。 【0007】次に、本発明のドレンパイプ4の風防ダン
パー9の動作作用を述べると、図4に示すように、建物
1の外壁2に設けたコンセント(図示せず)にドレンヒ
ーター8のソケット19を挿し込み、ドレンヒーター8
の発熱体12を作動させると、該発熱体12の熱がステ
ンレス管13に伝達されてドレンヒーター8の周囲空間
空気が温められ、温められた空気はドレンパイプ4に沿

軸の下方空間2/3を塞ぐものであるため、冷気が大量
に流入して、直線部分やエルボ部分が凍結することを防
止することができる。
