At present, denture stabilizers using powder, non-aqueous paste or synthetic resin are used. Among them, denture stabilizers using synthetic resins are widely used because of their excellent feel and functionality. However, even such a denture stabilizer has drawbacks that it is difficult to take it out of the container at low temperature, the coating property to the denture base is poor, and the peelability from the denture base after use is poor. In order to improve these drawbacks, a vinyl acetate resin having a high degree of polymerization is blended (Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-21123, Japanese Patent Publication No. 64-9018), and a water-soluble polymer is blended (Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. Hei. Japanese Patent No. 65210) has been proposed, but its effect is still insufficient.

It was found that a denture stabilizer was obtained, and the present invention was completed. Therefore, the present invention is a paste-like denture stabilizer based on vinyl acetate resin, wherein a gel-like substance obtained by mixing and dissolving polyolefin with at least one selected from mineral oil, squalane, polybutene and anhydrous lanolin is It is a denture stabilizer characterized by being compounded.

Generally, they are classified as low degree of polymerization vinyl acetate resin, medium degree of polymerization vinyl acetate resin, high degree of polymerization vinyl acetate resin, and used alone or in combination of these vinyl acetate resins having different degrees of polymerization as appropriate. You can The blending amount of the vinyl acetate resin in the denture stabilizer of the present invention may be a commonly used blending amount, and is appropriately 30 to 80% by weight based on the total weight of the denture stabilizer, and further 40 to 70%. Weight percent is preferred. If it exceeds 80% by weight, the ease of ejection from the container and the coatability on the denture base will decrease, and if it is less than 30% by weight, the cushioning effect will decrease.
It cannot be used as a denture stabilizer.

It includes a gel-like substance obtained by mixing and dissolving a polyolefin with at least one selected from mineral oil, squalane, polybutene and anhydrous lanolin. This gel-like substance usually has a viscosity of 10 to 10 million cps at room temperature. Hereinafter, this substance is referred to as a gel substance in the present specification. Examples of the polyolefin that is a component of the gel-like substance include polyethylene and polypropylene, and polyethylene is particularly preferable. As a component to be mixed with such a polyolefin, mineral oil can be mentioned first, and examples thereof include liquid paraffin and vaseline.

The amount of the polyolefin added is appropriately 0.1 to 10.0% by weight, and preferably 0.3 to 5.0% by weight, based on the solvent selected from mineral oil, squalane, polybutene and anhydrous lanolin. If the amount of the polyolefin added exceeds 10.0% by weight, the ease with which it is taken out from the container decreases, and if it is less than 0.1% by weight, the oil component tends to separate. The above gel-like substance can be obtained as a commercial product, for example, a plastic base (trade name, Bristol-Myers
Squib) is known. In the present invention, such a market product can be used. The content of the gel-like substance in the denture stability of the present invention can be varied depending on the content of the vinyl acetate resin, but is generally 5 to 50% by weight based on the total weight of the denture stabilizer, and 5
-30% by weight, more preferably 10-20% by weight. If the added amount of the gel-like substance exceeds 50% by weight, the cushioning effect will be reduced and the purpose of use as a denture stabilizer cannot be fulfilled. If it is less than 5% by weight, the desired effect cannot be achieved sufficiently. Specific examples of the denture stabilizer of the present invention
In general, the amount of the gel material is 10 to 20% by weight.
