2. Description of the Related Art A method of connecting corrugated pipes of thermoplastic resin, which are formed by alternately arranging recessed ridges and ridges alternately on the outer periphery, is to connect the ridges and the ridges on the outer periphery. Formed alternately and independently, when inserting a pipe with a smooth surface inside and connecting a pair of corrugated pipes whose inner peripheral surface is flush, attach a sleeve to the outside of one corrugated pipe After projecting one end side of the sleeve from the end wall of one corrugated pipe, thermoplasticity is provided in the gap formed by the inner peripheral wall of the sleeve and the side wall of the convex stripe and the wall surface of the concave stripe at the end of the corrugated pipe. Insert a welding ring made of resin with electric resistance wire,
Then, insert the pipe end of the other corrugated pipe into the sleeve, and energize the electric resistance heating part of the welding ring to melt and deform the end face regions of both pipes and press both pipes together to form a corrugated pipe. There is known a method (Japanese Patent Publication No. 7-96270) in which the ends of the above are connected by heat fusion. There is also described therein an aspect in which a welding ring is integrated with the sleeve.

Since the above-mentioned method for connecting corrugated pipes is to connect the ends of the corrugated pipes to each other by heat fusion, the ends of the corrugated pipes to be connected are to be connected. It is necessary to have a weld ring having the electric resistance heating portion in the wave trough formed by the above. Therefore, the valley widths of the wave troughs at the ends to be joined of the corrugated pipes must be half-divided to approach each other to form one corrugation part. Since it is necessary to dispose the welding ring at the wave trough, the structure is complicated and the operation is inevitably complicated. Further, in a state where the pipe ends to be connected of the corrugated pipes are once brought close to each other, the pipe end portions are melted and deformed by heating by an electric resistance heating portion provided on the welding ring, and then the pipes are pressed together. There is a two-step complicated operation for wearing clothes.
