【産業上の利用分野】本発明は粘着テープ,磁気テー
プ,フィルムインクリボンなどコアに巻き取られた物の
巻き硬さを測定する方法に関する。

【従来の技術】一般的に市販されている粘着テープ等は
巾の広い長尺の原反に粘着剤等をコーティングした後、
巾方向にカットし円柱状のコアに短い長さで小巻きに巻
き取られているか、又はその逆の順序で小巻きに巻き取
っている。
【0003】これらの巻取物はそれを小巻きに巻き取る
張力が小さいと、隙間を生じたり、コアが抜け落ちたり
する。又、逆に大きいと経時的に円錐台状になったり、
コーティング物が、カット面よりはみ出したり、裏面に
転写したりしてさまざまな問題を生じる。
【0004】小巻に巻き取る時点で張力のコントロール
は種々の方法でなされているが、巻取物に小巻きにした
状態での張力の測定、つまり巻き硬さの測定はカット面
と垂直な方向に力を加え、その円錐台になりにくさを指
触で測る以外になされていなかった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は巻き硬さを指
触で測ることなく数値で測定できる方法である。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明者は巻取物の外径
方向に加圧して、外径の変化率で巻き硬さを測定できる
ことを見出した。

【実施例】次に実施例を図1の概略図にて説明する。ほ
ぼ垂直にした台座1の垂直軸2の下部に巻取物3をのせ
るストッパー4を固定する。ストッパー4の上部に垂直
軸2に沿って可動な圧力板5をシリンダー6にて下方に
加圧可能にして設ける。
【0008】圧力板5の上部に垂直軸2上にレーザ式変
位センサー7をストッパー4より一定距離の位置に台座
1に下方向に測定できるよう固定する。圧力板5は垂直
軸2上に光が通過するよう小穴8を設けてある。
【0009】巻き硬さの測定方法は測定したい巻取物3
を外径方向を垂直にストッパー4にのせる。センサー7
に圧力板5の小穴8を通して巻取物3までの距離を測定
し、次にシリンダー6にて圧力板5を巻取物3に一定加
圧する。一定時間後の距離を同じく圧力板5の小穴8を
通して測定し、無加圧時との差により巻取物3の外径の
変化率を算出する。変化率が大きければ巻取物はやわら
かく、小さければ硬く巻かれている。数値管理が可能に
なった。
