押上げ、バルブを開放して洗浄作業を行うものがある

は、充填作業に付随する容器台の昇降機構を利用し充填
バルブを開放して洗浄を行う洗浄装置に関し、洗浄時に
おけるバルブ開放区間を狭めることにより、洗浄液回収
用の樋等の小型化やバルブ当りの洗浄液の流量の確保を
図る提案をしている(特開平5−319485号公
報)。 【0003】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、前記従来の
洗浄装置のうち前者のものは、洗浄時におけるバルブ開
放区間が充填運転時における場合と同じであるため、洗
浄液の流出する洗浄ゾーンが長くなる。したがって、洗
浄液回収用の樋等も大形化する点で望ましくないだけで
なく、同時に開放するバルブの総数も多くなるため、バ
ルブ当りの洗浄液の流量の確保の点でも問題があった。
他方、後者の洗浄装置は、バルブ開放区間を縮小して前
記問題点を解決しているが、そのバルブ開放区間の縮小
のための切換構造などが未だ複雑であるとともに、バル
ブの開閉を交互に行う後述の間欠洗浄には適用が困難で
あった。本発明は、以上のような点に鑑みてなされたも
ので、簡単な構成により、洗浄時におけるバルブ開放区
間の縮小が可能であるとともに、間欠洗浄にも適用可能
な充填バルブ開放装置を提供することを目的とするもの
である。 【0004】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、前記課題を解
決するため、リフトカム機構により容器台を昇降して充
填を行う充填機において、充填運転用の前記リフトカム
機構とは別個に、前記容器台を前記リフトカム機構によ
り上昇する上昇端よりも更に上昇させる補助リフトカム
機構を設置し、かつ前記容器台に前記補助リフトカム機
構による各容器台の上昇を介して前記充填バルブを開放
するバルブ押上げ部材を配設するとともに、前記補助リ
フトカム機構を、充填作業時には前記容器台を上昇させ
ない非作動位置に、充填バルブの洗浄作業あるいは昇温
作業時には前記容器台を上昇させる作動位置に移動可能

ム機構による昇降に切替えることによって、簡単な構成

面を鋸歯状等に形成すれば、間欠洗浄にも容易に対応で

1は本発明の一実施例の要部を示した縦断面図である。
図中、1は公知の充填バルブで、回転軸部2と一体的に
回転する充填液タンク3の下面に一定間隔に配設されて
いる。この各充填バルブ1の直下には、回転軸部2と一
体的に回転する回転体4の対応部分に設置された軸受部
5を介して容器6を載置する容器台7が昇降自在に配設
されている。この容器台7の下端部には、カムフォロア
8が支軸9を介して支持されており、リフトカム10と
共に充填運転用のリフトカム機構を構成している。そし
て、公知のように、回転体4の回転が開始されると、容
器台7がリフトカム10のカム面形状に沿って上昇し、
容器6自体の口部を介して充填バルブ1を押上げ、所定
区間バルブを開放して充填作業を行うように構成されて
いる。なお、充填バルブ1のバルブ構造としては、バル
ブ部分に連動する所定の部材を押上げることによりバル
ブを開放できる公知の充填バルブであれば適用が可能
で、その具体的構造は自由である。 【0007】次に、本発明の充填バルブ開放装置を洗浄
用として適用した場合に関して説明する。図2の要部拡
大図に示すように、前記容器台7の下端部の支軸9に
は、前記カムフォロア8に加えて、更にカムフォロア1
1が支持されており、下方の補助リフトカム12と共に
洗浄用の補助リフトカム機構を構成している。補助リフ
トカム12は、エアシリンダ13により昇降可能に構成
されている。充填運転時には下方に位置してカムフォロ
ア11と離間した非作動位置にあり、洗浄運転時には前
記エアシリンダ13により上昇してカムフォロア11と
当接可能な作動位置にセットし、洗浄用のカム機構とし
て機能し得るように構成されている。なお、図1に示す
ように、容器台7の上部には、その容器台7の上昇動作
を充填バルブ1に伝達してバルブを開放するバルブ押上
げ部材14が、本実施例においては、充填運転時に容器
6の首部を支持するネックグリップを兼用した形で設置
されている。また、容器台7の軌道の近傍には、その容
器台7の上方空間部に進退可能に洗浄液回収用の樋15
が配設されている。 【0008】図3は前記補助リフトカム12の配置を示
した概略平面図、図4はその展開図である。図示のよう
に、補助リフトカム12は、それ自体による容器台7の
上昇区間、すなわちバルブ開放区間Bを、充填運転用の
リフトカム10による容器台7の上昇区間、すなわちバ
ルブ開放区間Aより縮小するため、その長さを短く設定
している。また、補助リフトカム12の上方カム面の高
さは、図4に示すように、リフトカム10の上方カム面
より更に高く設定している。この上方カム面の具体的な
高さは、前記バルブ押上げ部材14の上端位置と充填バ
ルブ1との位置関係から充填バルブ1を開放するために
必要な容器台7の上昇位置が決り、その上昇位置との関
係から決定されることになる。なお、図中、16,17

時と同様に、回転体4を回転させると、バルブ開放区間

入ると、カムフォロア11が補助リフトカム12に当接
する結果、容器台7が更に上昇してバルブ押上げ部材1
4により充填バルブ1を押上げ、バルブ機構を開放す

1内を洗浄しながら流下して樋15により回収される。
