Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a bone or a part of a joint of a person whose function has been reduced or lost due to a disease such as osteoarthritis or pain has increased. And more particularly to a femoral component of a knee prosthesis. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when various members constituting an artificial hip joint or an artificial knee joint are installed on a bone, in order to secure an initial fixation after the operation and obtain a permanent fixation. For,
A method has been used in which a so-called bone cement which is relatively safe for a living body is interposed between a bone and a prosthetic member to fix the bone. [0003] As a method of reinforcing the bonding force by such bone cement, a concave or groove-shaped cement reservoir is provided on the surface of a prosthetic member, and the cement reservoir has
It has been practiced to secure a certain cement thickness or more and to secure the fixation. FIG. 3 shows a femoral component F constituting an artificial knee joint as an example of such a conventional bioprosthetic member. The femoral component F is composed of a plate-shaped front wall 1, two left and right rear walls 2, 2 and a sliding portion 3 connecting these to form a substantially arcuate shape. And the outer surface of the rear wall 2 has a smooth curved surface similar to the joint sliding surface in the normal state of the femur to be replaced,
An intercondylar slit 4 is formed at the position interfering with the attachment of the anterior-posterior cruciate ligament located behind the femur, at the center of the two rear walls 2 and 2 and part of the sliding part. I have. On the inside of the sliding portion 3, there are flat surfaces having three different directions, that is, a horizontal surface 7 in the middle, and a pair of rear surfaces 2 and front walls 1 on both sides thereof. (Referred to as a rear slope 8 and a front slope 9, respectively). Further, on the sliding portion 3, from the rear slope 8 to the middle of the front slope 9, fixing reinforcing beams 11, 11 are formed in parallel with the side face 16 at symmetrical positions, and the outer sides thereof are formed. On the front side, three groove-like cement reservoirs 12, 12, 12 defined by a bank-like partition are formed, while the inner surfaces 5, 6 of the front wall 1 and the rear walls 2, 2 are formed. In each case, a groove-shaped cement pool 12 which was separately partitioned was formed. [0007] However, the above prior art has the following problems. That is, since each component of the cement pool formed on the joint surface with the bone is partitioned in the form of a bank, there is a slight difference in the manner of transmitting the bonding force and stress between the partition portion and the cement pool. Due to this difference, the separation of the bone cement and the femoral component starts at the partition part, and this progresses to another part, and the bonding strength is weakened. When such a situation occurs, micro-movement of the femoral component or partial concentration of stress may occur, and a serious situation such as bone resorption or displacement of the prosthetic member may be caused. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above-mentioned problems in the prior art, the present invention provides a safe artificial joint that has a large bonding force with bone cement, is stable, and does not cause bone resorption or displacement of a prosthetic member. It provides a femoral component of the knee joint. [0010] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides an arc-shaped sliding portion abutting on a distal end face of a femur, and a plate-shaped sliding portion abutting on a front surface of the femur. An anterior wall, two plate-shaped posterior walls abutting the posterior surface of the femur, and an intercondylar slit provided between the two posterior walls for the anterior-posterior cruciate ligament located behind the femur In the femoral component of an artificial knee joint, wherein a cement pool is provided on a joint surface with the femur, the cement pool is continuously connected to the front wall from one of the rear walls via the sliding portion. And the cement pool is folded back on the front wall, and further connected to the other of the rear wall via the sliding portion, so that the cement pool is provided in a U-shape. An embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. It described Te. Embodiment 1 FIGS. 1 (a), 1 (b) and 1 (c) are a plan view and a front view of a femoral component F constituting an artificial knee joint as a bioprosthesis member according to this embodiment. FIG. 1 shows a side view of a femoral component. The femoral component F is composed of a plate-shaped front wall 1, two left and right rear walls 2, 2, and a sliding part 3 which connects them and forms an approximately arc shape. The outer surfaces of the front wall 1, the sliding portion 3 and the rear wall 2 of the femoral component F have a smooth curved surface similar to the joint sliding surface in the normal state of the femur to be replaced.
An intercondylar slit 4 is formed at a position interfering with the attachment of the anterior-posterior cruciate ligament located at the back of the femur, at the center of the two rear walls 2 and 2 and a part of the sliding part 3. ing. As shown in FIG. 1 (a), the side surface 16 of the femoral component F has a lateral condyle side and a medial condyle side inclined from the front to the rear by 10 ° and 5 ° toward the center, respectively. Also, as shown in FIG. 1 (c), the opposing inner side surfaces 5, 6 of the front wall 1 and the rear wall 2 of the femoral component F are flat surfaces, and each is 3 ° with respect to the vertical direction. Leaning. Further, flat surfaces having three different directions are formed inside the sliding portion 3, that is, a horizontal surface 7 in the middle, and a pair of rear surfaces 2 and front walls 1 on both sides thereof, respectively. A slope (referred to as a rear slope 8 and a front slope 9, respectively) is provided. Further, in the sliding portion 3, from the front slope 9 to the middle of the rear slope 8, the fixing reinforcing beams 11, 11 are formed in parallel with the side surface 16 at symmetrical positions.
1 to 3 mm deep cement pool 12 to surround
Is formed in a groove shape and in a U-shape in a plan view (in FIG. 1B, it looks like an inverted U-shape). On the other hand, each of the front wall 1 and the rear walls 2 and 2 has The cement pool 12 is continuous with the cement pool 12 provided on the horizontal plane 7, the rear slope 8 and the front slope 9 of the sliding portion 3, and the cement pool 12 is formed integrally therewith. In the above-described femoral component F, the groove-shaped cement reservoir 12 is not separately partitioned on the joint surface with the bone, but each filled bone cement is filled with a predetermined amount. A cement pool connected by a continuous groove is formed so as to be connected at a depth, and a load at a portion where the partition and the bone cement are filled, such as when each component of the cement pool 12 is separately partitioned. There is no load concentration problem or the like due to the difference, and thus, bone resorption and separation of bone cement can be avoided, and the fixation of the bone and the prosthetic member can be stably maintained with a large bonding force. In the above femoral component F,
The cement pool 12 of the sliding portion 3 has a U-shape in plan view, and the cement pool 12 is connected substantially at right angles.
Thus, the cement pool 1 at a large angle of 45 ° or more
When the two are connected, the fixing force increases dramatically. The depth of the cement reservoir 12 is 1
If it is smaller than mm, the cement amount may be small and the bonding strength may be insufficient. On the other hand, the depth 12 of the cement pool is 3 mm.
If it is larger, the volume of the femoral component F is reduced, and the strength of the member itself may be reduced. As described above, according to the present invention, an arc-shaped sliding portion abutting the distal end face of the femur, a plate-shaped front wall abutting the front surface of the femur, It comprises two plate-shaped posterior walls abutting the posterior surface of the femur and an intercondylar slit provided between the two posterior walls for the anterior-posterior cruciate ligament located behind the femur. In a femoral component of an artificial knee joint, wherein a cement pool is provided on a joint surface with the femur, the cement pool is connected to the front wall from one of the rear walls via the sliding portion, and Since the cement pool is folded back on the front wall and further connected to the other of the rear wall via the sliding portion and the cement pool is provided in a U-shape, the fixing force between the femoral component and the bone cement is increased. Is small and therefore This has an excellent effect that loosening with bone and bone resorption due to the loosening can be effectively prevented.
