【発明の詳細な説明】 【0001】 【発明の属する技術分野】原子炉のチャンネルボックス
(以下ボックスと略称する)長さの長い方形筒であるか
ら、使用済のものは角隅部をタテ切してL形2本とし、
減容収納する。ただしボックス頭部には異形物のクリッ
プとスペーサが固着しているので、タテ切り以前の工程
でこれを除去しておく。本発明は以上の減容処理方法及
び装置に関するものである。 【0002】 【従来の技術】特開昭62−257093では内刃4
0、外刃48で方形各辺を押切り、クリップとスペーサ
もろとも頭部を方形のまま切除する方法が開示されてい
る。それに続くタテ切に於いても、同引例の図8の如く
外枠88に支持されるボックスの角隅部へ内側の切断刃
8を前進させる思想が述べられている。何れも押切であ
るが、押切面では金属の一部が切刃に膠着し、切刃の円
滑な離反を障げる難点があった。 【0003】 【課題を解決するための手段】前工程として行うクリッ
プとスペーサの除去は、該当部だけをエンドミルで切削
除去することとし、ボックスの輪切は行わない。ボック
スのタテ切もエンドミルによる。ただし丸鋸でも差支え
ない。プール内構築物へ一定区間昇降可能な工具台を設
け、これへ直立ボックスの角隅部をタテ切可能にエンド
ミルを装着し、下から上へと切り進む。この区間のタテ
切が終わると、ボックスを降下させ次の区間を再び下か
ら切り始める。昇降台へ中子棒を直立させたものを用意
し、ボックスはこの中子棒へ被挿固定することとし、昇
降台には多段シリンダを附設して昇降可能としておく。
エンドミル作業は押切とは異なり、無理なく確実に切断
が可能である。分割タテ切の反復により、小型の工具台
装置で無理なく全長切削が可能である。 【0004】 【実施例】まずボックスBを説明する。図1の如く方形
の柱状体で上端に補強用クリップBa、上側面にスペー
サBbが何れも1対固着されている。ボックスはタテ横
何れも13cm、高さは4.5m程度である。クリップB
aとスペーサBbについては、図2の如く垂直エンドミ
ルM1をクリップ上に、また水平エンドミルM2をスペ
ーサ側面に臨ませ、それぞれの該当部分のみを切除す
る。プール内とはいえ両者ともボックスの最上部にある
ので作業は容易である。スペーサの除去はリベットを切
除すれば、ボックスから分離する。 【0005】 次に図3によってタテ切を述べる。プー
ルには構築物1が固定され、複数の受面が設けてある。
昇降板2はプール底面に立設した多段シリンダ3の頂部
に設けられ、昇降可能である。方形の中子棒4は昇降板
上に直立固定され、方形のボックスBを遊挿可能であ
る。中子棒4は上部に拡開部4aが設けてある。拡開部
4aは図4,5の如く中子棒の一部に設けた水平切込
と、この切込へ挿入した拡開片5とから成り、拡開片か
ら突出するロッド先端のピストン5aが、これに対応す
るシリンダ孔へ挿入され、ピストン両側に中子棒の上端
面に通ずる通水孔4bを設けたものである。通水により
拡開片5はボックス内面を圧し、ボックスと中棒を一
体化する。拡開装置は必要に応じ複数とする。ボックス
固定装置6はプール内対向受面1へ出入調節可能に装着
された対向押圧片6aから成り、ボックスBを対角線上
で挾持固定可能である。この装置も必要に応じ複数とす
る。工具台8はボールねじ7aの回転によりガイド7に
沿い昇降可能で、エンドミル9が装着してある。ボック
スBは図6の如く対角線を受面1と直角にして昇降板2
へ固定されており、エンドミル9もこの線上で昇降す
る。ガイド7の取付高さは昇降板2が最高位にあるとき
のボックス底部にあるようにしておく。 【0006】 タテ切の作用を工程順に述べる。 1.プール上へ移送されたボックスを中子棒へ被挿す
る。 2.中子棒の拡開装置により、中子棒とボックスを一体
化する。 3.ボックス固定装置でボックスをプール内構築物に固
定する。クレーンは外す。4.垂直エンドミルでボックス上部のクリップ該当部分
を切除する。 5.水平エンドミルでボックス上部のスペーサ該当部分
を切除する。前記4と5の順序を逆にしてもよい。 6.ボックス下端から切り始め、工具台を上昇させ所定
区間タテ切して停止する。工具台とボックスを同じ高さ
下降させ、隣接上部区間のタテ切に移る。この間ボック
ス固定装置の解除と角固定を行う。以上を反復して全長
に及ぼす。 【0007】 【発明の効果】従来頭部を輪切除去したのに対し、頭部
を含む全長をタテ切対象とするので、減容効果を最大に
