Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a structure of an intake gallery provided in a package for storing a sodium-sulfur battery when the sodium-sulfur battery is installed outdoors. 2. Description of the Related Art A battery system is configured such that a plurality of module batteries each formed by connecting a predetermined number of unit cells are further connected and arranged on a mount, and the mount is stored in a battery package. When such a battery system is installed outdoors, in a package of a high-temperature operation type secondary battery such as a sodium-sulfur battery, it is necessary to efficiently discharge heat from the module battery to the outside of the package. . [0003] This is because, in addition to the generation of Joule heat due to the charge / discharge current of the battery inside the module battery,
In the case of a sodium-sulfur battery, the charging stage is an endothermic reaction, whereas the discharging stage is an exothermic reaction. This is because it is necessary to take a balance of heat every time. The heat radiation from the module battery is discharged to the outside of the package by natural ventilation through an intake gallery 3 provided in a package 1 having an outdoor self-standing cubicle structure as shown in FIG. In addition, forced ventilation with a fan or the like is usually rarely performed because maintenance is frequently required. A conventional general suction gallery is shown in FIG.
In order to prevent rainwater from entering, a large number of draining blades 5 inclined obliquely downward toward the outside of the package are arranged, and a dustproof filter 7 is arranged behind (inside the package). Has become. [0006] However, in the intake gallery having the conventional structure as described above, when the size of the intake opening becomes large or the intake gallery is mounted at a high place, the intake gallery shown in FIG. As indicated by the arrow, rainwater sometimes became water droplets and was blown into the package. As a countermeasure, a structure in which the gallery is covered with a rainproof cover 9 as shown in FIG. 3 to prevent a strong wind from directly blowing into the gallery has been proposed. Not only is the size of the entire package increased, but also the design of the equipment appearance is not favorable. In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, there is a method in which the draining blade 5 is attached to the rotating shaft 11 to form a movable structure, and the opening is closed in a case of strong wind or the like. There is a problem that it becomes complicated and costs increase. The present invention has been made in view of such conventional circumstances, and has as its object to increase the size of the entire package, impair the design of the equipment exterior, and perform complicated opening and closing operations. It is an object of the present invention to provide an intake gallery structure which does not require a simple structure and can surely prevent rainwater from entering a package. According to the present invention, when a sodium-sulfur battery is installed outdoors,
It is a structure of an intake gallery provided in a package that stores sulfur batteries, with a dust filter in between,
An intake gallery structure having a structure in which two rows of drainage vanes are arranged is provided. FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing an example of an embodiment of an intake gallery structure according to the present invention. As shown in this figure, the intake gallery structure of the present invention has two rows of drainage vanes 5a and 5b on the outside and inside of the package with a dustproof filter 7 interposed therebetween.
That is, the structure of the present invention is obtained by adding another row of drainage vanes to the inside of the package as compared with the conventional structure shown in FIG. According to the present invention, by adopting such a structure, the water droplets are formed on the draining blade 5a on the outer side of the package.
Even if the dust passes through the dust filter 7, the drainage blades 5b on the inner side of the package can prevent rainwater from entering the inside of the package again. Therefore, even when the intake port size becomes large or the device is mounted at a high place, Prevention of rainwater intrusion during strong winds can be reliably achieved. [0012] Furthermore, since the added drainage blade 5b is disposed inside the package, the size of the entire package is not increased, and the design of the external appearance of the equipment is not impaired as compared with the conventional structure. Further, as described above, the structure of the present invention has only a single row of drainage blades added to the conventional general intake gallery structure shown in FIG. 2, so that the structure is simple and the cost required for implementation is low. As described above, by adopting the intake gallery structure of the present invention, the entire package can be increased in size even when the intake opening becomes large or mounted at a high place. It is possible to reliably prevent rainwater from entering the package in the event of a strong wind without damaging the appearance of the equipment. In addition, since a complicated opening / closing operation is not required and the structure is simple, it can be implemented at low cost.
