【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は受信機に関する。

【従来の技術】従来の受信機として、FM及びAM放送
受信時に局部発振器を共用しミキサーの出力として同一
中間周波数に変換するタイプの受信機がある。このよう
なタイプの受信機では、FM及びAM放送を受信する場
合、ミキサー回路を通して同一の中間周波(IF)信号
(例えば、FM受信用IF=10.7MHz)に変換す
るのであるが、その際VCO発振器(局部発振器)の発
振周波数は以下の式で求められる。
1.FM放送受信時
VCO周波数=受信周波数+10.7MHz
2.AM(MW)放送受信時
VCO周波数=(受信周波数+10.7MHz)×10
ただし、AM放送受信時にはVCO周波数はミキサー入
力前に1/10分周される。
【0003】また、ワイドバンド(例えば、東欧向け)
のFM/AM受信機の場合、受信周波数とVCO発振周
波数範囲は次の通りである。
1.FM放送受信時

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、上記従来の受
信機では、FM及びAM放送受信時にVCOコイルを共
用としかつミキサーは共に減算器として使用しており、
VCO発振周波数範囲が75.7〜123.11MHz
まで広がってしまい、その結果、受信機のS/N比が悪
化しやすくなると共に、トラッキング設計上問題になる
という不具合があった。
【0005】本発明の目的は、上記従来の不具合を改善
した受信機を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明による受信機は、
請求項1に記載のように、AM放送及びFM放送を受信
し同一の中間周波数に変換する受信機であって、局部発
振器としてのVCO発振器と、前記VCO発振器の発振
信号を分周する分周器と、受信信号と前記VCO発振器
の発振信号又は前記分周器により分周された発振信号と
を供給され、AM放送受信時には前記受信信号の周波数
と前記分周器による分周後の信号の周波数とを加算する
加算器として動作し、FM放送受信時には前記VCO発
振器の発振信号の周波数と前記受信信号の周波数との差
を計算する減算器として動作することで、前記受信信号
と前記発振信号とを混合するミキサーと、前記VCO発
振器と前記ミキサーとの間に設けられ、FM放送受信時
にオンしAM放送受信時にオフするスイッチと、前記分
周器と前記ミキサーとの間に設けられ、AM放送受信時
にオンしFM放送受信時にオフするスイッチと、AM放
送の受信周波数に対応する前記VCO発振器の発振周波
数の最大値から最小値まで範囲が、FM放送の受信周波
数に対応する前記VCO発振器の発振周波数の最大値か
ら最小値まで範囲に内包されるように、AM放送受信時
及びFM放送受信時の前記VCO発振器の発振周波数を
決定する制御回路と、を備えることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】図1は本発明による受信機の一実
施例を示すブロック図である。図において、1はアンテ
ナ、2はRFアンプ、3はミキサー、4はVCO発振
器、5は1/10分周器、6及び7はスイッチ、8はV
CO発振器4の周波数を決定するPLL回路8a及び制
御回路(例えばマイクロコンピュータ)8bからなる選
局部である。

御回路8bによって以下のように設定される。
1.FM放送受信時
VCO周波数=受信周波数+10.7MHz
2.AM(MW)放送受信時

換えられ、アンテナ1で受信した受信信号周波数(fr
)は、VCO発振器4のVCO発振周波数(fVCO )
信号が入力されたミキサー3で減算され、IF(例え
ば、10.7MHz)信号が出力される。一方、AM放
送受信時は、スイッチ6がオフ、スイッチ7がオンとな
るように切り換えられ、アンテナ1で受信した受信信号
周波数(fr )は、VCO発振器4のVCO発振周波数
(fVCO )信号を1/10分周器5で1/10分周した
周波数(fVCO /10)信号が入力されたミキサー3で
加算され、FM放送受信時と同一のIF(10.7MH
z)信号が出力される。
